We had a great stay!! The house was perfect for the five of us and our dog, with enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was the best part! Melissa was super prompt when it seemed like the heat to the pool wasn’t running and we were back in there in no time - the heated water was perfect for this fall weather! We also tried some of the recommended spots and overall, this was exactly the quick getaway we needed!

Wonderful retreat place to slowdown, meditate, soak on the view and relax. I felt right at home; welcoming atmosphere, clean, quiet and safe. I appreciated the little details around the house; coffee, tea, wine, toiletries. Can’t wait to come back during summer. I will def recommend it to anyone, couples, families, and solo travelers like myself.

This place is stunning. It is a work of art. Stocked kitchen attached to a cozy den, beautiful dining and lounge area, super comfy king bed, and large bathtub. Michael was incredibly accommodating!

The house was warm and welcoming. There was more than enough space for our group of 10 - we enjoyed the books, the music collection, the art and photos, the games/toys, the fire pit and the hammock. We were able to get to the State and National Parks easily where we visited the beaches, trails, and dunes. The hosts were great and responsive- we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Greg was an amazing host. He and his wife are clearly professional grandparents. The home was beautiful for our three generation family. The downstairs playroom was a life saver. The house was clean and well set up for guests. They wrote helpful notes and provided clear instructions. We cannot thank Greg enough for sharing his lovely home with us. We also loved the fairy garden in the trees and beautiful backyard. 10/10 recommend

The house was gorgeous and perfectly sized for our family of five! The stocked coffee was a huge plus for the mornings. I would definitely recommend this place as a family stay.

Beautiful home in the country. Stayed in the area for a wedding. Brant was very responsive and always helpful.

We arrived at night and couldn't locate the garage well, so ended up scraping my car on the fence by the house, unfortunately. I wish there were clearer signs showing where the garage is and wish I could be warned earlier of the gravel road by the house & the fence. Neighborhood does not feel very safe but should be fine. The rest was all good! Good for the price, great host.

Excellent location, great space, responsive host.

We had a very pleasant stay! The home is just a few short blocks from the Wells Street Beach near the Indiana Dunes National Park. The home was modern and clean, with plenty of amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is also just a few miles from the Portage South Shore rail station, allowing for an easy trip into Chicago. If you're looking for a relaxing stay near the Indiana Dunes, don't hesitate to stay here!

AMAZING LOCATION! I'd like to point out that I stayed in this location for a month. I'd also like to point out that I will be returning. This place was very clean, neat and newly renovated. I have a phobia of bugs and didn't encounter anything the entire stay. The neighbors were very nice. The block was peaceful and not to busy. Not to mention Nikki was the best host that I could've ever asked for. She was extremely responsive and very personable.

This home was perfect for a peaceful getaway. It’s secluded and surrounded by nature. I especially appreciated the cleanliness inside, it was immaculate. Located in Chesterton, there’s a rural vibe at this property - it’s not far from the highway leading to Chicago and a short ride to the beaches of Lake Michigan, restaurants, casinos and shops.

Very nice home. Very dog friendly with nice fenced in yard. Walkable to downtown Valpo and the many restaurants. Nice neighborhood enjoyed several evenings strolls with the pups.
