Angelo was such a lovely and gracious host. He was so accommodating and welcoming. The location can't be beat. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tatiana’s. The apartment was very clean and she was easy to communicate with. The beach was a quick walk from the apartment and we had quick access to many restaurants.

Tudo ótimo, excelente apartamento, e ótima localização. O único problema foi apenas o barulho de pessoas a falar e da música que se ouviu na noite de sexta e de sábado proveniente dos bares que existem nas redondezas. A falta da canais televisivos, nomeadamente TV por cabo fez alguma falta.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le logement de Carolina. L’emplacement est idéal car il offre une grande terrasse qui donne une magnifique vue sur tous les environs et la plage en plus d’être près du centre Ville. Idéal pour le repos et la découverte de l’Algarve. Nous comptons bien y retourner un jour si possible !

Excelente localização e um ótimo atendimento. Fomos muito bem recebidos. Com certeza voltaremos em uma outra oportunidade.

Alles war perfekt! Wir hatten einen freundlichen und reibungslosen Checkin mit Riccardo und Verena. Die Wohnung war sogar noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern ersichtlich. Die Lage ist ruhig und bietet kurze Wege zum Strand und Restaurants. Wir können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

Unterkunft sehr empfehlenswert, schöne Lage, direkt am Meer, gute Anbindung zu zahlreiche gute Restaurants und Cafés und Ausflüge. Jose war sehr bemüht und ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen 😇

Super Lage Nah an dem Strand Super Restaurant

Posto meraviglioso , come sentirsi a casa , gli appartamenti sono accessoriati di tutto , anche delle prime cose basilari per cucinare , al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare biscotti acqua e formaggio e ci hanno fatto assaggiare il pane fatto in casa da loro , hanno un orto dove abbiamo potuto raccogliere pomodori freschi e fichi direttamente dall'albero , a disposizione anche ombrellone e piccole sdraio per la spiaggia . Ottimi i suggerimenti di Carla per visitare spiagge e ottimi i ristoranti consigliati .

We cannot recommend highly enough! We are from the US and this is the third time we have stayed at Francisca's, so we are fans. This place is absolutely lovely, with privacy and comfort, a great kitchen with everything you need for cooking, both patio and rooftop access to relax in the sun, and walking to the greatest beach and sunrise/sunset viewing spots. The Alvor boardwalk is a terrific daily walk and lively place to enjoy both exercise and cafes/restaurants. We have only been there off-season so cannot speak to the amenities and crowds during the season, but this is a perfect spot (both town of Alvor and the development itself) in the Algarve to access quiet, beauty and good restaurants. Alvor is a great home base from which to enjoy the whole Algarve. Francisca is a kind, warm host who communicates easily and quickly when we have needed anything. It's a lucky find!

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

This was the perfect place for my little adventure on my own. Space for a couple but I was on my own. It felt very safe, a beautiful appartment, lovely amenities including hot shower and heating and very close to the square. Ricardo was fantastic and quickly sorted out the power when a fuse blew. He was very friendly, checking I had arrived too and made asking for help very easy. I’m hoping to come back next year! Thank you ☺️

The place was lovely and very spacious. The place was clean and had everything for cooking. And we even used the BBQ. The only negative thing is that the furniture is old and could be updated. Other than that, we had a great time. 10-minute walk to the closest beach and quiet neighborhood.

Logement a recommander sans hésiter. Dès notre arrivée, Mickaël était là pour nous accueillir. il est d'une grande sympathie. La maison quand a elle est impeccable,tout le rez de chaussée privatif avec piscine privée un locataire habite là haut a l'étage mais a son propre accès a l extérieur donc no panique,il est d'une discrétion que si vous le voyez une fois c'est bien . La piscine est plus grande que sur les photos donc vraiment intéressante avec barbecue et terrasse . Nous avons adoré le séjour chez Mickaël et nous reviendrons sans hésitation. Quand au chien mentionné sur plusieurs commentaires, oui les voisins ont des chiens ,ils sont derrière le mur côté barbecue dans des chenils mais la journée ils ne sont pas là...on entend les aboiements un peu le soir et la nuit mais c'est vraiment pas toute la nuit ou autres en tout cas ça ne peut pas gâcher je pense votre séjour sauf si un aboiement vous dérange. Maison vraiment à la hauteur de nos attentes.

We had a great time st marias place. The appartment is located in an appartment complex incl. hotel that offers different pools, playgrounds etc which makes it super easy and comfortable with children. Overall the area around is obviously very busy with tourists. Maria was a very good host who was always reachable and helpful. We can definitely recommend this place especially for families. We stayed there as a family of 5 which was okay but the place is probably best suited for a family of 4.

Great location by the beach. Awesome disposition of the house giving privacy to families with kids. Lovely terrace and comfortable beds. Host was amazing and understanding. I’d recommend to stay here for families with 3/4/5/6 kids. Careful with the steps to the beach for kids younger than 3 though. Very relaxed holidays and would go again. Quick note, would not recommend the beach restaurant Caniço - shameful scam with 2 menu prices on per weight items and lousy service, making people with reservation wait while others passed in front. A disgrace. Pity, since the food was good and the setting very nice - but expensive and slow service.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. It had everything you could need and the view from the balcony was better than expected. Check in was easy and the apartment felt very secure. Thanks for a great stay- would visit again

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und eine sehr schöne Wohnung, in der wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Wohnung ist darüber hinaus sehr zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir bedanken uns ganz besonders bei Elaine und Stephen für einen gefüllten Kühlschrank, all die anderen Annehmlichkeiten sowie für die wunderbar herzliche Kommunikation. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

An amazing and comfortable place. The decor is fun and inviting. We felt extremely at peace visiting Portimao. Having a great space to relax added to the overall trip.

Meet Suzanna at the apartment and she was very helpfuul in getting us settled and telling us where to go in Alvor and surrounding Area. The apartment was very clean and bright. The apartment was in a great location with the beach a 5 minute walk one way and the town centre a 5 minute walk the other way.. The building complex was quite and well maintaned... The apartment had alot of little things that you don't normally find in an Arbnb.. We will definitely be returning... Wendall / Paulette

Our stay at this Airbnb in Portimão was nothing short of fantastic! The flat is incredibly well-equipped—you’ll find everything you need, from a fully stocked kitchen to a first aid kit, iron, fresh linen, and even a washing machine. It truly felt like a home away from home! The cleanliness was impeccable, and having 24/7 hot water was a huge plus. Every little detail has been thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay super comfortable and hassle-free. If you’re looking for a place that combines convenience, comfort, and warmth, this is it. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay: fantastic location, great beds, kitchen more than fully equiped, contact with owner and caretaker was perfect. Gorgeous beaches around the corner, great restaurants everywhere and plenty to see and do. Spacious enough for six. English books avalable and pool table for some fun and laughter. Beach towels and beach chairs were very handy. As well as the beach toys. Would definitely recommend; you won’t be disappointed.

We loved the penthouse apartment close to the beautiful beach praia da Rocha with plenty of restaurants to choose from closeby. With the fast fiber internet it was also very easy to work from our temporary ‘home’ in Portimao. We loved our stay at Anna’s place in Portimao. The location was perfect as we only had a rental car for a week of our month long stay. We found the location to be ideal to go to a variety of beaches and an abundant amount of dinning options at your doorstep The larger grocery stores were also only a 17 minute walk away. Good value for a long term stay in the algarve.
