Shane and Michelle were very good hosts. The place is beautiful. Clean and well stocked for a one week stay.

Catie was so kind and responsive when we needed a place to stay last night minute. The apartment is peaceful, clean and wonderfully appointed, and the location is perfect. Sellwood is beautiful, quiet and walkable. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

It was just what we were looking for in a place to stay. Wonderful mornings on the private deck overlooking the river and watching the sunrise. That alone was priceless! Randy’s place felt just like home. The backyard area to the river was well kept and a beautiful view. The bed was comfy and the living room was a great place to unwind. You do have to be able to Chromecast to the TV, but that was in the listing information. Randy has a great selection of books and we really enjoyed our stay!

It was such a lovely experience to stay at Yurtlandia again. It is truly my favorite Airbnb of all time, unparalleled in its uniqueness, coziness, and beauty. Michael is a warm and welcoming host and I feel like I’m staying with a friend when I’m there. The setting is gorgeous: the care and attention Michael and his wife give to the property is obvious, from the abundant flowers, trees, and shrubs to the perfectly level stone walkway. The yurt itself is an absolute delight. Every need is thoughtfully met while there, from the multitude of extra blankets to ensure one stays warm, to the tea and coffee available, to the hammock available for a leisurely nap. Napping while rain falls on the yurt roof is exquisite. I could go on and on, but in short, Yurtlandia is a delightful stay for anyone looking for tranquility and comfort. Highly recommend!

Carol’s place was absolutely perfect for my two tweens and me for a week. As other reviewers have noted, it’s stocked with pretty much everything one could need for cooking, laundry, and daily living. The Nespresso and pods were very appreciated. The apartment is comfortable with ductless heating/cooling units in every room. And the neighborhood could not be more beautiful and peaceful—a perfect area for taking leisurely walks among trees and beautiful homes. Carol is very friendly and communicative without being intrusive at all. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay at her place again.

I mean, WOW. You will not be able to find anything like this place. The cabin itself is rustic (but beautifully built!), and the interior upgrades are modern, fresh, and inviting! And.... waterfalls! You hear waterfalls as you wake up and the views are unreal. This is such a unique place with such a unique history, that I feel honored that Foster would be willing to share it with the public as a rental. The cabin is so well-modernized with the kitchen and appliances and supplies (even a spice rack of well-stocked spices), and having two bathrooms was awesome. There is a VHS player TV, games, and record-player in the main area, and I am proud to say it fell fun to use the record player and VHS player. There is a modern TV in the main bedroom, but it was barely used. There's a separate little house that is gorgeous and provides more space for guests. I will say that having the wonderfalls and view was wonderful, but you will have to pay more attention with little kids. Thank you, Foster!
