Lucia us a Great Host, very responsive and proactive! We arrived on a rainy, cold and foggy night - Lucia and her husband waited for us in the town, helped with the luggage and walked with us to the place. she went the extra mile and offered some snacks and even food supplies for simple meal (pasta + pom polpa) if you had missed to do shopping beforehand. This place is soooo beautiful!! the views over the valley and old windows felt romantic. birds chirping in the morning on a rocky wall just nearby. it's been a long time I slept in a bed linen smelling so nice! Montemassi is a lovely, small and quiet town. we enjoyed being the only tourists there on a peaceful sunny Sunday. stayed for 3 nights, visited Massa Marittima one day and Parco Regionale Della Maremma on the 2nd which was a highlight! only 35 mins drive, beautiful area, good for kids for watching animals, hiking, beach time. pristine nature. Lucia's place is a great deal!

Il casale di Debora è bellissimo, ha una vista splendida, nei giorni più limpidi si possono vedere dai Monti Sibillini al Gran Sasso e tutta la Val d' Orcia. L' interno è molto accogliente e Debora da attenta ospite lo ha dotato di tutto ciò che può servire alle persone che accoglie, ci si sente veramente accolti e coccolati. È stata gentilissima e molto disponibile. Noi eravamo in compagnia di amici e dei nostri rispettivi cani. Per loro è stata un' esperienza stupenda, hanno avuto a disposizione oltre ad una casa che li ha accettati tranquillamente, anche uno splendido terreno recintato e fuori di esso, una spazio a perdita d' occhio per correre liberi e felici. La mattina pur essendo dicembre, ci siamo sempre goduti un' alba bellissima. La posizione in cui si trova, ci ha consentito di visitare agevolmente molti paesini e città e infine ci siamo rilassati anche alle terme che distano pochissimo dal casale. Al Sassone holiday hai tutto quello che ti serve per un cozy gateway immerso nella natura. Luca è stato straordinario, proattivo nel fornire indicazioni e ospitale. Lo consiglio caldamente a chi cerca una sistemazione per qualche giorno immerso nel verde (accesso privato al bosco con tantissimi sentieri!) e chi vuole visitare gli splendidi borghi che ospita la val d’Orcia!

Wat hebben wij een fantastische vakantie gehad in dit prachtige huis op een schitterende plek. Gelegen vlakbij Via Francigena ben je zo opweg naar je bestemming, zoals Rome, Pisa, baden van San Filippo , Sienna, Lago di Bolsena. Het huis is compleet uitgerust en super netjes, wifi is goed en de Android tv is handig om je favoriete programma's te casten. Wij werden op bijzonder vriendelijke wijze ontvangen door Paolo en Roberta , waarvoor dank.Ook Ugo en Familie willen wij bedanken voor alle vriendelijkheid. Kortom een aanrader !

The airbnb was great! Great views, the room facing the valley was nice and quiet, very quaint, old home. We were quite comfortable. You have to park a bit far from the Airbnb, so just be aware of that and try to reduce the number of trips you will need to make between the car and the Airbnb - we had our baby with us so that can be a bit tricky. Also, like in most homes in Europe, the floors are mostly stone/tile so I would recommend bringing comfy house socks or slippers. We also enjoyed the shops right outside of the door!

Beatiful house with everything you need. The house was really clean, and it has all the amenities you need. The contact with Andrea was good. In the surroundings there is not much to do, but if you are looking for peace and quite, and you don't mind driving a bit for activities, this is the perfect place.

The best place we slept in Italy. A very big house, super clean and the kitchen has everything you need (including salt, balsamic ,olive oil, mineral water and more...). A large balcony with a stunning view. They brought us wine as a gift. Highly recommend! If we are in the area again we will definitely come again.

Ludovica was the perfect host beginning with her personal greeting for our check in and her very helpful responses to all questions we had during our stay. Although she's very busy and hard-working (she also manages her animal shelter) she always had time to help us. The area surrounding the property is beautiful, peaceful, and charming with lots of outdoor space to lounge, relax and soak in the breeze and rolling hills (we enjoyed lunch under the large tree behind our villa). The inside decor is a perfect mix of traditional Tuscan style with a few modern conveniences that made our stay very comfortable and we felt right at home. Ludovica did a great job decorating to get the right balance. The location is great as well as it's between a 15 minute to 1 hour drive of most of the wonderful villages you'll want to visit including Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Quirico D'Orcia, Castiglione d'Orcia, and our favorite, Pienza. We highly recommend La Tana del Bianconiglio.

Estadia incrível com toda atmosfera que se espera da Toscana. Casa encantadora, tudo muito limpo e aconchegante. Piscina maravilhosa com uma vista deslumbrante. Alessia é uma simpatia de pessoa, nos fez sentir em casa! Além de tudo, ainda comemos figos frescos no pé, que estava carregado! Recomendo demais a hospedagem.

Really wonderful place. Antonia is a fantastic host and provided us with really helpful instructions to find the Airbnb which is tucked away on the hill side. The views are incredible and there is everything you need both in the flat and the surrounding area. Couldn’t recommend highly enough and will definitely be looking to come back.

Casa favolosa e vista impagabile sul Giglio. L’alloggio di Fabiola è un sogno. L’host inoltre è stato sempre disponibile e premuroso. Consiglio vivamente l’alloggio.

Johanna’s delightful listing is in part of the family’s historically significant home. Inside, the apartment is filled with books and interesting art of all kinds. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is small, but I cooked some nice meals. The outdoor space is amazing. We loved having our coffee in the morning in the garden, and our wine in the evening overlooking the harbor. We loved the winding walk into town and back, and there is a nice grocery store very nearby. Johanna and her daughter Giulia were very kind and responsive when the WiFi stopped working. They did everything they could to fix the issue and it was fine for the rest of our stay. They also left us a lovely bottle of wine and we even got a ride from Johanna to and from the bus stop upon arrival and departure. We felt we were truly “guests” of the family. Be sure and ask about the history of the home if you get a chance. Enjoy your stay!

È stato davvero come essere a casa, sia per noi che per la nostra cagnolona Frida che ha amato l'ampio giardino e la compagnia del dolcissimo Buddy. Luca e la sua famiglia sono davvero gentili e premurosi e la posizione è davvero ottima per chi cerca tranquillità e praticità nel raggiungere i punti più belli del lago di Bolsena.

Très bel appartement avec une vue magnifique. Un peu difficile d’accès mais cela fait partie du charme de l’Italie. Keith est accueillant et très clair dans ses explications.

Mel is a fantastic host and the place is exactly like in your most vivid Tuscany dreams.:) It's not our first time here and we absolutely loved everything about the place. Das Haus ist sehr schön und rhuig gelegen, in einem sehr guten Zustand und top eingerichtet. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto da Geschäfte, Restaurants und Cafes etwas weiter weg sind. Trotz gemischten Wetterbedingungen hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die schönen Tage waren wir Wandern, Fahrradfahren in der Maremma oder baden am Meer. Das naheliegende Daniel Spöri-Museum ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Bei Regen haben wir in der gut ausgestatteten Küche ausgiebig gekocht und bei Kaminfeuer die gute DVD Musik- und Film-Auswahl genossen. Rundum für uns (5) ein perfekter Kurzurlaub.

We had a wonderful stay. Fantastic property and great location. We had 11 people including 5 children and the home was big enough for us. Sarteano is a very interesting village and we enjoyed walking around, and is also very central to the surrounding towns. Highly recommend this property.

Woooow, no words can really describe how wonderful this place is. We've seen this fantastic villa from afar before (you can see it when coming in to the island from the boat), but we could never imagine how wonderful it is. The house itself is perfect, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms etc - but what really stood out was how close you were to the city while also feeling like having your own little paradise. The balconies where a dream, the view perfect and the private place to swim simply wonderful. 10/10, and will 100% come back!

Wonderful stay! So peaceful with incredible views, I slept better than I have done in years and we were so grateful for Luigi restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The beach at the national park was amazing and we loved the thermal baths- remember to take off silver jewellery though! Location fantastic and we would love to return one day. A very big thank you!

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs over the years, but this is probably the best experience we have ever had. Absolutely gorgeous historic property nestled in the Tuscan hillside. Incredible host with lots of support and helpful suggestions. An extremely comfortable and relaxed stay. Highlights included wine tasting and a trip to the nearby spa. Do not miss Eleanora’s incredible home-cooked meals. She caters everything at the residence for a very reasonable cost. You don’t have to lift a finger — it’s bliss. Martino was among the most responsive and proactive hosts I’ve ever encountered. Especially when we had a small health scare with our infant, he was immediately available with perfect advice about nearby healthcare options. I am a tiny bit hesitant to give such a glowing review only because we definitely want to visit again someday and don’t want whoever is reading this review to book the same dates! Really, if you’re considering this property, don’t think — just book.

La casa si trova nelle vicinanze di Saturnia e altre località della maremma...un posto strategico per visitare questi posti in un contesto tranquillo con un giardino recintato dove abbiamo potuto lasciare libero il nostro cane e rilassarci a leggere un libro al fresco Massimo e sua moglie super precisi nell'accoglienza il posteggio è nel giardino di casa comodissimo

Settimana di vacanza con amici e famiglia di puro relax. La casa ha rispecchiato le aspettative, ampia, spaziosa e pulita. Mare a pochi km raggiungibile facilmente, con poca gente e spiaggie spaziose. La piscina e' la cigliegina sulla torta, permette di rilassarsi e godersi la vacanza, anche con ben 7 bambini. Maurizio Host molto disponibile. Vacanza Consigliata.
