A Gem of a place. Everything we wanted.Catherine was a super host. If you’re arriving by train about a 10 to 15 minute walk through the lovely town. Very close to a beautiful beach walk especially in the frost.

Our stay was wonderful. The price for being in the center of all the action in Edinburgh was incredible. Susie was very helpful and responsive throughout the lead up, during, and after our stay. It was the perfect home base for walking around the city. Unfortunately our schedules didn’t line up to meet in person, but Susie was unbelievably sweet and dropped off some pastries for us in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this home more - it had everything we needed and was a quaint/cozy spot to crash or recharge after all the activities Edinburgh has to offer. Will definitely be looking to book again if back in the city!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, very central to the city, yet still had that private, home from home feel. Beds are super comfortable and the place was squeaky clean. Craig and Holly are fantastic and super accommodating! I couldn’t recommend them more!

Six of us stayed at Paul's place over the February half term & there was plenty of space for all of us without feeling cramped. The accommodation was a good size. Every room had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. The street the accommodation was on was very quiet & everyone slept well. This is accommodation close to the city centre so don't expect to be surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location is very handy as you are within walking distance to Edinburgh. We were a party ranging from 13 yrs up to 80 yrs so the walk would take us anywhere between 15 to 25 minutes to walk to the Old Town, depending on who was walking. Walking is essential to go into Edinburgh. There are clean air charges on certain cars, on street parking and car parks in the centre are extremely expensive. Paul's place comes with a parking space which is worth it's wait in gold & will save you money to spend on the fun stuff instead. Comfort and location are ideal.

We loved feeling like locals, having our own little basement apartment in Edinburgh. We walked all over the city from here. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed the Scran and Scallie, Franco Manca pizza, Toastology (seriously best toasty ever) and Books & Cup and Lanans bakery (give coffee a miss) all nearby. Also Stockbridge markets Sunday. Highly recommend.

Great, central location. Very well equipped property and ideal for a longer stay. We stayed 6 nights last year and 11 nights this year because we enjoyed the apartment so much.

We had a great stay . Everything you could possibly need was in the apartment and more. Fantastic location, central to everything. Beautiful building , peaceful, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of the city. Host was helpful and accommodating. Everything went smoothly from check in to checkout. A parking space for our car was very much appreciated as we drove from Norfolk. However apartment is so brilliantly located we didn’t need it once there as walking distance to most everything in the city. Thank you again , we highly recommend ,it exceeded expectations and was great value

El apartamento es tal cual se describe en las fotos, amplio y muy limpio. Está un poco alejado del centro, pero con bus (1,60) o uber (unas 13 libras el trayecto) se llega en 20 minutos. El anfitrión estuvo muy pendiente en todo momento y nos facilitó la entrada flexible.

Loved this spot!! Super cozy and chill, the large living room was perfect. We did forget about the 4 floors of stairs we needed to take up, and we heard some late night parties going home pretty clearly through the window facing the street. Overall a really great stay!

Excellent layout and location. Very clean and well appointed. Communication was very straightforward to access the apartment and for Wi-Fi, etc. Our family of four was very satisfied and would highly recommend. Walking distance to everything.

Fiona’s place was perfect for us! We were able to park our car for free close by and the apartment had everything we needed. It is well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!

Great apartment in a good location - Edinburgh Castle, Old Town and Royal Mile all easily walkable, and you can also get to Arthur’s Seat and Royal Botanic Gardens if you fancy going a bit further. Apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Would recommend earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise as the road outside can be loud with both traffic and people!

Really enjoyed our time in Edinburgh in this location. A 25 min walk from Waverley through New Town to get there or a short taxi ride. We planned to go to the bakery opposite, which at the time wasn’t open on Monday or Tuesday and were amazed by a long queue on Wednesday and Thursday mornings before it had even opened. Stockbridge is only a few mins away with some great bars and restaurants and M&S Food and Sainsburys Local if you can’t find what you need in the local store. We caught the bus to Leith which was really easy with the bus stop very near by. The flat was cosy and easy to find and as described.

Great place to stay with perfect location - pretty much everywhere is walkable - and super flexible with checking in and out. Would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Matt’s fantastic place. It is a very welcoming, comfortable and well-appointed space within a historic property and lovely grounds. Matt is a fantastic and friendly host; with clear instructions and quick responses to our queries. We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

This will be our go-to stay in Edinburgh. Walkable from Waverly train station, Hollyrood, Royal Mile, Castle, Grassmarket, Princes St….like seriously so central. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is perfect for travelers & the fireplace was amazing after chillier than expected weather walking around exploring all day. It’s beautifully decorated & we felt at home for 6 nights! We actually loved the daily stairs as we came home having lost weight on vaca, lol! Thank you for your hospitality Lindsey!

Really lovely accommodation. Immaculately clean and lovely decor. Thought of most things to make it home from home. Great location for exploring the local area and wonderful views from the living room. Would definitely rebook this place!

A lovely stay for birthday, everything looked exactly like the pictures. Met some family pets as well which was a lovely treat! Very relaxing definitely recommend.
