Ben was very helpful from the beginning. Very accommodating. Coming from the United States, he made it very easy for two weary travelers. The flat was located in a quiet neighborhood, located near shops and restaurants. The flat is beautiful and clean. Beautiful kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms. I had a wonderful stay at Scott’s place! The house is located right by the beach, and the master bedroom has a stunning view of the sunrise—it’s definitely the highlight of my mornings. The atmosphere inside the house is warm and welcoming, with family photos on the walls that really add a personal touch. I also loved the mattress; it was incredibly comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet at night, making it the perfect place to relax. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene and beautiful getaway!

This apartment is well placed within walking distance to many attractions. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen was well appointed. Giovanna and Angelo were very responsive. We would happily stay at the apartment again.

Everything thing in the place is perfect, the only downside was the noise from the neighbour

We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our stay in Edinburgh. Di was friendly and helpful, and we felt very comfortable. The neighbourhood was amazing, and we had fun shopping and trying different restaurants. Easy access to the Royal Mile, and it was lovely to have a quiet spot to return to at the end of the day. Everything was perfect, and we are grateful we had the opportunity to stay at such a lovely location.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. A wonderful great stay. Would highly recommend. Coming from the states I didn’t miss any of the modern luxuries of housing. Fully functional kitchen, and warm spaces with lots of natural light. A truly home away from home feeling. Thank you and hope to meet again in the future.

Jamie is an absolutely lovely host and the flat is beautiful and spotless. The bus stop right outside is very handy, also the Co Op just around the corner. Not the most salubrious area but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again, an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Loved staying here and Marie was the best host. The house was just outside of the main part of the city which made for peaceful evenings and the bus stop was less than a minute walk away and so easy to buy tickets. We did the whole week trip using public transportation and walked to the grocery store around the corner. Marie gave us all the information we needed on how to navigate the city what was nearby and even offered to call us our taxis on departure day. Marie was such a sweet and thoughtful host and the house was so cozy and comfortable for our party of 7 (2 adults 2 seniors and 3 kids 10 and under) if we ever have the chance to make it back to Edinburgh we won’t stay anywhere else!

Had an amazing stay at Allan’s place. Super cosy and clean. Easy to find and near enough in the centre of Edinburgh so everything is in walking distance. Plenty of room to park in the garage. Our bottle of wine and sweet treats was a nice touch to start off our trip. Would 100% return

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Lovely apartment for our family of four! It has a great location in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants within a short walking distance and is a 30 minute walk to the city center or a quick tram ride. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and has all the amenities needed. The area is so quiet at night. No city sounds! Book it! 😊

Michelle was wonderful. We had an overnight flight but were allowed to leave bags early and check in several hours earlier. Michelle was responsive and a great resource. Shower was a bit tricky to navigate, and could have used some extra towels but otherwise everything was as described. Had some trouble with the dryer our last day, but things break down so no big deal. We loved the location. Be prepared for City noise - some ear plugs took care of that! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Great location and spacious

Ella and robin’s place was fantastic! The location was wonderful, close to Waverly train station, walkable to restaurants, pubs, shopping, etc but on a beautiful quiet street. The beds were very comfortable, shower and tub were lovely, and the kitchen was very well stocked with essentials. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Ella and Robin!

this was my friends first time in edinburgh and it was the perfect location for walking and for driving. although the right block was hard to find a first as soon as we made it in we felt right at home and ended up leaving our car parked the whole time. the place was perfect and the blankets were greatly appreciated. only things we would note is we couldn’t manage to use the controllers to work the tv (could just be us haha) and if you are ordering food drivers have real trouble finding the building. thank u sue for letting us stay❤️
