This place is in a different world. Impossible to compare to anything else as it's so unique. feet away from the water's edge, views to die for and topped off with a hot tub with the best views ever. The cabin has everything need, Ian was great - helpful and friendly but without intruding. Book it now. We'll definitely be back.

An unforgettable stay! This place is truly one of a kind - set on a small island with its own wood-fired hot tub, it felt like a secluded retreat. The uniqueness made it feel extra special, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into creating the perfect getaway. We had such a relaxing and memorable experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something out of the ordinary. Can't wait to come back!

We had a lovely couple of days break at Ian’s. He greeted us and gave us all the information we would need for a quick check in. If you enjoy quirky, scenic, historic, picturesque accommodation and timeless scenery, this is the place for you. We have two dogs and they absolutely loved it! Great skies at night and the hot tub wasn’t too shabby either. The best quirk is the floating bridge which in certain weather conditions can be fun. It offers a unique and playful side to this wonderful look back to a time when things were “simpler”.

Very comfortable house with fantastic views. Lots of things to see and do a drive away and fantastic walks. Christine stayed in contact throughout and was quick to sort out any problems . Recommended!

Roskhill cottage is awesome. We spent 5 nights here and made our stay truly special. The house have everything you may need and more, the beautiful view and garden filled with flowers, the BBQ hut it’s a great plus, comfortable beds, impeccable clean, good size bathroom and shower, close to little groceries stores, delicious bakery and good coffee, Dunvegan Castle and gardens and fantastic walkings around, plus gorgeous Coos cows! Really worthy place. Highly recommended.

Lovely house just outside Broadford. Had a great stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The house is perfect, with gorgeous views across the water to Scalpay. It’s a great base to visit lots of places all round Skye, and handy for the shops and restaurants in Broadford. The house itself was really clean (and very well stocked, thanks for tea, coffees beers and lots of soap shower gel etc, much appreciated) and lovely and cosy to stay in, fantastic kitchen/diner, where we actually spent most of our time, although there’s also a really nice living room with great views. Overall it was perfect for our trip and I’d definitely stay again. Thanks Fiona and Richard for being such great hosts 🙂

Alistair’s cottage in Skye was charming, welcoming, and the perfect base for our adventures around the island. The cottage is filled with unique artworks and Alistair provided clear instructions and helpful local recommendations!

Excellent spot! We found it to be the perfect home base for exploring Glencoe and Isle of Syke. The photos don’t do it justice! The view of the castle is such a fun treat <3

We loved our little cottage getaway on Isle of Skye. This cottage met all of our needs and was in a stunning location. Was perfect for a quiet, cosy few days.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious living rooms and bedrooms.A grand hall and staircase. Big baths and a jacuzzi. 5 minute walk from the main square in Portree and has its own parking space which solves the parking problem in Portree. No problems with the heating, everything worked fine. Lovely welcome pack and greetings card. We highly recommend this place

Burnside Cottage was perfect! It was cozy and had everything we needed! The scenery was phenomenal! We loved the quiet location! My only complaint was we didn’t want to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Glenelg. The cottage was as described. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views from the garden and every window. Murdoch rang on our arrival which was lovely and we knew we could contact him if needed.

Great comfortable van in a good location to all the highlights of the islands (especially the northern ones). Unfortunately we were unlucky to experience one of the first major storms of the autumn. Luckily, the van is equipped with a large and good selection of films, which got us through the storm (we always wanted to watch all three Lord of the Rings in the extended version in one go). We'll be back again!

This quiet and convenient place was an ideal home base for our Skye adventure. Amazing and helpful hosts only added to our stay. They even went out of their way to fix a heating issue we encountered late one evening. Everything was perfect!

Carol & Allan 's Place was amazing!! We loved the house, it had everything we needed and more! The area was beautiful and peaceful. We drove all over and saw the most incredible scenery! We met Carol & Allan on our last night, and they are so lovely!! You cannot ask for a better place to stay!! Rodney

Gillies Rest is a great stay and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a hike in the nearby area. Place is exactly as advertised, please make sure you check what is available and what are the limitations. Place was extremely clean, the beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. Overall - it was great and hopefully we'll return someday.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille à Portree. Le logement de Mairi est très bien placé pour rayonner sur l'ile de Skye (où nous avons passé 4 jours) très propre, très agréable et fonctionnel, au calme, avec un supermarché à proximité. Je recommande vivement!

Wir waren im August auf der Isle of Skye. In der Unterkunft von James & Fiona haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hütte ist zwar etwas abgelegen vom nächsten Ort, ist mit dem Auto aber sehr gut erreichbar und über Google Maps auch sehr einfach zu finden. In der Hütte ist alles vorhanden was zum Kochen und Leben nötig ist. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gut gepflegt. Vor der Anreise bekamen wir bereits Anweisungen wie wir einchecken können und Tipps welche Restaurants und Läden in der Nähe sind. Auch die Kommunikation während des Aufenthalts war super. Leider hatten wir eine Tasche in der Unterkunft vergessen, diese wurde uns freundlicherweise sogar zugesendet. Für einen Aufenthalt auf der Isle of Skye können wir die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Lovely stay. Comfortable, with off street parking. Neighborhood setting, but still close to town center made it perfect. Excellent communication!

The cottage was very well equipped and set up for self catering including a BBQ. We particularly loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the view across the water. The sunroom is also great once it gets too chilly outside. Hiking the Quiraing was absolutely stunning. The nearby waterfall and fairy glen are also nice short walks. A perfect holiday
