Sandra’s house was such a dream. I went with my friends for 5 days and we had such a good time we didn’t even leave the property the entire time. The pool and outdoor areas were so nice, the views were amazing and you truly are in the heart of nature. We spend our days at the pool and nights watching the stars. The house had everything and it looks even better in real life ❤️ Sandra was super sweet and responsive :) we are looking forward to come back, maybe next year 😍 obrigada :)

Unlike many places now where everything is done remotely, Jan lives in the place next door and is on hand to open up and make you feel at home. He truly cares about the place and the land surrounding it and has created the most lovely garden. Yes, it's a little off the beaten track but close enough to Silves to get whatever you need and then you can return to the most tranquil place to rest and recharge. His thoughtful, handmade, rustic touches are everywhere and make this place unique.

I enjoyed my stay here! Jose, was a great host! Very friendly and helpful! :) I would reccomend to people! Good amount of parking, and very homey :)

After staying in the windmill for a few days, we felt the need for a bit more space and a bath! Absolute luxury. beautiful apartment, very spacious, everything you could need.Tiago and staff were on hand for anything and went above and beyond. Free eggs and veg from the garden. Didn't want to leave. Absolute paradise. Would recommend any property here. The pool, the view, the peace and quiet... definitely want to go back. Note, this is in Nature as to be expected, bring mozzie spray Thank you, we hope to visit again soon

Un super logement hyper spacieux et bien équipé. Une literie haute gamme et surtout un matelas immense dans une des chambres. Équipement extérieur : barbecue, chaises longues, table de jardin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Carla qui est très gentille ainsi que son mari. Nous recommandons chaudement

Quinta Do Rapozinho is a beautiful place located in a former traditional northern farm. We had a bit of a struggle to find the place, arriving late at night didn’t help 😞. My advice is to write the name of the place on your satnav ( even if you are using your mobile like I did). The place itself is amazing, peaceful and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing location with stunning views and cows on the field some days. They work really hard to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is varied and very tasty with plenty of home made butter, yoghurt and cake.Cheese, ham,granola, etc. We tried both,in the breakfast room and delivered to the room and they are equally delicious. We stayed in the Casa do Palheiro it’s cosy, warm and rustic in a good way. Our son and girlfriend joined us over the weekend and the space was plenty big for four adults,if you are looking for a taste of local history this is the place.

We had pleasure staying at Ana&Michael’s place even we had some challenges. Because of lots of rain, several parts of the road leading to the house very flooded so it was a bit of challenge reaching it but we were able to. Other day as rain did not stop we had much more muddy road and even more water but our car managed to get us out. So in case of bad weather would suggest a at least having mini jeep or 4x4 so you don't have to worry about reaching and leaving the place. Apart from that all was great, it's a great place to get away from all the people and rushing and just enjoy nature and beautiful surroundings.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à 7 dans la maison de Mara. L´endroit est magnifiquement niché dans la nature avec une belle vue. La piscine est non seulement bien aménagée,mais en plus jolie.Un vrai bonheur de se reposer autour de la piscine et d´y plonger pour se rafraîchir. La maison est aussi bien aménagée: fonctionnelle,bien équipée,en particulier la cuisine, propre et de bon goût.Les 2 chambres sont confortables et spacieuses. A l'extérieur, il y a en outre un petit verger ombragé très agréable. Mara fut une hôte prévenante et flexible.Elle communiquait des informations utiles. La maison est en outre située de manière centrale dans la vallée du Douro et permet de rayonner vers tous les côtés sans avoir des trajets trop longs (il faut savoir que toutes les distances sont parfois très longues dans la région,d´où l´intérêt d´une position centrale). Seul petit bémol dont nous nous sommes accommodés, 1 salle de bain et toilette pour un grand groupe peut être peu.

Tout simplement parfait ! Paulo nous a parfaitement bien accueilli. On s'est senti super bien durant 3j. Le logement avec vu sur la mer et au bord de la piscine est très propre. Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique. Nous y reviendrons... C'est sur

We had a great time in Maria's house. The house is located out of the way and was therefore perfect for us with four smaller children. spacious, bright and equipped with every comfort.

The best stay we could wish for- old traditional Portugese house (with air conditioning!); big modern pool; olive and cork trees all around and the soundtrack of sheep’s bells. Total tranquility, and Evora, Estremoz and Monserz are within a short drive (the supermarket is 5 min drive). The owner, Paul, is very kind and helpful (brought us home grown vegetables and explained about the cork production, gave us useful cultural and culinary tips) - can’t wait to book again. It was such a pleasure!

Magnifique petite maison en pleine nature dans l’Alentejo, parfait pour une escapade loin de tout ! La maison est très belle et bien équipée. Le wifi ne marche pas toujours bien mais ca permet de déconnecter encore plus :) il y a une jolie rivière à 15 minutes dans laquelle on peut se baigner le matin. Merci à Graca pour votre accueil !

Anabela is a kind soul that made all the process easy and without much burocracy. the place is in the middle of the woods, it has barbecue, pool and loads of places to chill....there's a beautiful dog and in the night time you can watch the stars and try to guess all the animal sounds you can hear!! if you looking for a Zen place, this is it :) will definitely comeback at some point

When I started planning my first trip to Portugal and was researching properties, I came across this one. I fell in love immediately and basically planned my whole trip around being able to experience what look like such an amazing place. I can only say that it far exceeded all of my high hopes. It is a gorgeous, soulful, serene, historic home. Every moment that we spent there was incredible. I fully intend to return and when I do, I am staying a lot longer than two days. Thank you so much, Paul, for sharing your incredible family home. Can’t wait to see you again!

It was a great stay. Beautiful, restorative, simple and relaxed. It is a great little place to stop and check out. We enjoyed the home, the land and all the people we met. The cats were very friendly and the family was as well. It is very peaceful and beautiful!

Casa exactamente como descrita e igual às fotos. Muito bem decorada, confortável e com uma piscina que fez as delícias das crianças. Tudo muito limpo e arranjado. Localizada perto de Cercal e Porto Covo, onde há supermercados, farmácia, comércio e bons restaurantes. As praias distam cerca de 15, 20 minutos de carro e são muitas e diferentes, vale a pena conhecer todas e percorrer os trilhos que as interligam (de jipe ou a pé). Os anfitriões, a Paula e marido, são muito simpáticos e prestáveis, com óptimas dicas de sítios a visitar e onde se come bem. Umas férias a repetir.

Fiquei no alojamento da Catarina para celebrar o meu aniversário com amigos e família. A Catarina foi super querida e abriu-nos a porta da sua casa para fazermos o bolo de aniversário (que acabaram por ser 3, um deles feito pela própria. E que bom que estava!). Já fiquei em muitos alojamentos mas a Catarina foi sem duvida a melhor anfitriã de sempre. Voltaremos com certeza ao paraíso da Catarina.

Casa totalmente equipada, muy limpio todo, sabanas, baños, etc.., camas muy comodas, cocina en perfecto estado. Totalmente recomendable, volveremos seguro, y la persona que nos atendio nos facilito en todo momento toda la información necesario con toda celeridad. Hemos quedado encantados con nuestra estancia.

Perfect location for 4 sharers who needed to stay close to the airport for a night. On the far side of the airport from the runway so not noisy. Lovely terrace too and overall place. Would recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Judite’s place. The place is beautifully located and the hut is very cozy. Even with the colder weather it was very warm and comfortable inside. Judite is very helpful and the communication with her perfect. Thanks a lot Judite for having us.
