Candida was lovely and at check in, gave up local knowledge and tour of house, which was clean and very functional. They had a hair dryer, nice when traveling to not need your own or worry with voltage and a small space heater which was nice for our unusually cold days. There's two bedrooms, one with a comfortable bed (not too firm or too soft) and one that was a bit thinner and softer, so you have options! There was an induction stove top and microwave with a convection feature, good for warming things though probably not good for baking. The only con was unfortunately the towels and sheets are washed in a strongly scented detergent-common for Portugal but still bothersome. The location has great parking very close and free and is in a lovely neighborhood.

Anna and Chris were great hosts for a wonderful and unique place. I loved hearing the story and seeing the pictures of how they built this adorable earth home. Check out their insta. The place was perfect and had the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in an Airbnb. So happy we chose this place for a few days of exploration during our trip between Cascais and the Algarve. 11/10 recommend.

we had a really good time! sea view and everything close by. the appartment has stairs, and i was happy to have warm socks. its beautiful and tje communication with marco super easy. we will definitely be back :)

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

La estancia ha sido excelente: La casa, la piscina impecables, el entorno, las viñas, y la amabilidad y excelencia de los anfitriones. Los días de vacaciones que hemos pasado aquí han sido ideales. Los mejores en la ruta. Estábamos al lado de Amarante que nos ha sorprendido gratamente y de otras ciudades para visitar, a 1h en coche. Gracias Osvaldo y Magdalena y familia por ser tan buenos anfitriones!

Très bon accueil par José, père Isabel. Hébergement très propre, endroit calme et pas éloigné des zones commerciales et des visites à faire. Très bon restaurant à proximité et boulangerie . Nos 2 chiens ont bien profité de la cour en toute sécurité. Je recommande à 100 % Merci à Isabel et José Cordialement Catherine et David

wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in einer schönen Wohnung und wunderschönen Gegend. Apulia ist ein nettes Dorf und in der Wohnung ist alles, was man braucht. Manu steht einem jederzeit zur Verfügung und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen...

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans la villa de Pedro à Torreira. Pedro est un hôte très accueillant et plein de bons conseils! Ses idées de visites, ses bonnes adresses de restaurants, ses info pour la visite de Porto, le tour en kayak...etc nous ont permis de passer un séjour fort agréable! La maison est très confortable, propre et bien équipée. Les enfants ont aimé passer du temps dans la piscine. Si vous cherchez un endroit qui combine repos, culture et sport, c'est le bon choix!

Met 5 volwassenen en 1 kind (9jaar) hebben wij van 27 oktober tot en met 2 november 2024 met heel veel plezier verbleven in de prachtige villa. Alles was prima in orde. Mooie en schone bad- en slaapkamers. Heerlijk terras met buitenkeuken en zwembad. Supermarkt op 8 minuten rijden met de auto en de gezellige haven van Lagos ook prima met de auto te bereiken op circa 10 minuten rijden. Alle voorzieningen in en rondom de villa waren prima. Zelfs strandhanddoeken lagen voor ons klaar. Werkelijk niets op of aan te merken op dit prachtige vakantieverblijf. Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

We had a lovely stay at Andrea’s place. Andrea was a very welcoming and responsive host and we loved her two sweet dogs. We visited during some heavy storms, but Andrea went out of her way to light candles in the garden for us to enjoy while we used the hot tub. The cottage was cozy and very clean with lots of kitchen amenities.

Annemie is a wonderful and generous host who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The house is in an amazing location, up in the hills with beautiful views and bird song. Pool wonderful and kitchen well equipped. We had a great few days. Thank you 🙏🏼

The house look exactly like the photos. It’s cosy and beautiful. Has everything we needed. The pool could be a little bigger but it was excellent anyway. Our dogs liked a lot too.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Incredible stay at this penthouse. Great location close to beaches and the town center. Loved the pool and view. definitely recommend !!!

Gary’s home makes for a wonderful stay. The property is well maintained and provides everything required for a stay. The views from the rear of the property are incredible, so much so that we opted to stay in the property rather than venturing out on occasion. Photos do not do it justice! Gary has been a fantastic host, providing excellent recommendations and always being willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. I would recommend Gary and his property to friends and family and will look to return in the future.

Localisation dans une vallée. A proximité (30min-1h) d'activitées et visites. Nous avons reçu les informations à l'avance afin de trouver la maison. Nous avons réussi grâce aux coordonnées GPS. Nous avons été accueillis par nos hôtes. Cela fait plaisir d'avoir pu échanger avec eux et avoir des recommandations de visites et restaurants. Ils sont restés à notre écoute selon nos besoins. Les enfants ont adoré jouer avec leur chienne Ruby avant nos visites. Belle maison mitoyenne aux hôtes. Les photos correspondent. C'est une demeure typique Portugaise. Elle était bien équipé pour nous. Le canapé et les matelas ont peut être un peu vécu selon notre confort. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de très bons moments au bord de la piscine, de calme dans les hamacs et des apéros ensoleillés sur la terrasse avec des parties de ping ping. Nous recommandons.

Wir waren nun schon 2x in dieser schönen Wohnung. Die Wohnküche ist hell und freundlich. In den Betten können wir nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag sehr gut schlafen. In der Nähe finden sich viele verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kleine sowie große Restaurants. Die Innenstadt oder auch Belem sehr gut erreichbar mit der Tram, nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Auf Fragen und Wünsche wurde innerhalb kurzer Zeit geantwortet. Wir sind gern wieder Gast bei Mandy & Yu.

“Compact” apartment but it has everything one needs and is very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, excellent Internet connection! Beautiful view of the city (south and east). The hosts were reactive and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood (and a quiet building) with a parking lot across the street. It is a walking distance to the city centre (shops and restaurants) and also to a larger shopping centre. I had a very pleasant stay.

El lugar es precioso, tienes varios sitios por el jardín en los que sentarte cerca del río. También tienes algunos kayaks que te dejan utilizar. La casa es muy acogedora y con buenas vistas, pero no cuenta con calefacción o chimenea por lo que si hace frío te tendrás que abrigar. En la cocina tienes todo lo necesario. La cama es muy cómoda.

Das Haus war unglaublich schön. In echt wirkt es noch schöner, als auf den Fotos (was schwer vorstellbar ist). Der riesige Garten, die Ausstattung und Lage waren perfekt. Wir fühlten uns die ganze Zeit „zu Hause“, auch weil das gesamte Haus so geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet ist. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastegebern war hervorragend, die Hilfsbereitschaft absolut außergewöhnlich. Ich hoffe irgendwann wieder zurückkehren zu können.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine (4 adultes et 3 enfants) et le calme environnant est appréciable. La maison est très spacieuse et la piscine par temps chaud est un vrai plus. Merci à Peggy d'avoir été réactive et pour les recommandations locales. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir.

The villa fit our group very well (a family of five on the top floor, a family of four on the ground floor and a couple in the garden suite). Nice to have 3 ensuites for the adults! All brand new and feather bedding plus AC was great. Pool a bit cold, but we braved it. We liked the host’s guide- the walk on the reserve was beautiful, highly recommend Balagan for a sunset meal in Ericeira and O Pescador was very sweet for a Sunday lunch. We’d add Emme for an upscale dinner in nearby Santa Isidoro and a day trip to Mafra (15 mins) for the palace & quaint rural museum enroute. (We also enjoyed Sintra and Cascais further afield.) We surfed with Blue Ocean which was a bit chaotic for the kids (very busy) so def only recommend for teenagers. Overall really happy with the stay. The house was a great base to discover Ericeira and surrounding areas.

The house is in an optimal location—central, yet quiet and within walking distance to the beach. It's ideal for 4 people (with very comfortable beds), but for 6 people, the sleeping arrangements are a bit cramped. It was very clean and tastefully furnished, and the communication was also great. The amenities were okay (no kitchen towels, no dishcloths, hand soap was heavily diluted), which was something we hadn’t experienced before. Nonetheless, the positive aspects outweigh the negatives, and we would recommend the accommodation to everyone.
