This beautiful renovated fisherman’s cottage is so perfect for family gatherings. It’s very well equipped with everything you might need. It’s close to some fine restaurants, bars and shops. The harbor is a short walk away where you can watch some spectacular sunsets. The beach and boardwalks offer hours of exploration. It truly is the perfect location. We took a boat trip out to see the cliffs, caves and arches which were breathtakingly gorgeous. One of the highlights of our trip was New Years Eve where the whole town came together to dance under the moonlight by the harbor and celebrate with fireworks. The local people were so friendly and welcoming. I can definitely recommend this place. Mario was the perfect host. He was very responsive to questions and treated us like family. I will be returning to explore some more very soon.

I’d recommend this place without hesitation. Beautiful place for a late, relaxing holiday. Nadou and Kristina were extremely accommodating. The house itself is well located, minutes from the renowned markets, restaurants and ferries (to get out to the Ria Formosa). The terrace was a huge bonus for us, we spent most of our time up there. There was only two of us staying but more than enough space to accommodate a family or group of friends.

Alvaro est un super hôte, à l écoute et réactif. Le logement est très bien situé, proche des transports en commun pour se rendre facilement au centre de Porto. Logement tout confort, tout y est ! Vaisselle, ustensiles, appareils électroménager... On y est comme chez soi. Le tout dans un tresbon état de propreté. Le petit plus : quelques oranges dans la corbeille de fruits sans oublier un peu de Porto à déguster avec modération ! Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in Foz und haben die Lage vom Haus 5 genossen. Man wohnt sehr ruhig, ist in 5 Minuten am Meer, es gibt alle Geschäfte, die für die Selbstversorgung notwendig sind sowie eine Bushaltestelle direkt in der Straße. Wir hatten keinen Mietwagen, was wir nicht bereut haben. Der Nahverkehr ist unkompliziert zu nutzen und preiswert. In der Unterkunft riecht es leider im EG muffig, was unseren Aufenthalt aber nicht getrübt hat. Wir wurden mit Wasser und Wein begrüßt. Ritas Vater hat sich zwischendurch danach erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung sei.

Das Reihenhaus ist wunderschön! Wir waren im Februar 3 Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es befindet sich in einer umzäunten Wohnanlage, zu der Pool und Tennisplatz gehören und ein eigener überdachter Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Das Haus ist hell und schön eingerichtet; die Küche super ausgestattet. Tagsüber war es warm, für abends gab es einen „Hot-Spot“-Gas-Heizlüfter, der sehr gut funktionierte, aber auch nicht jeden Abend verwendet werden musste. Das Wetter war wunderbar, lediglich ein paar Regentage und ansonsten frühlingshafte Temperaturen mit viel Sonne. Februar ist ein super Monat, um dort Urlaub zu machen. Einige Restaurants hatten geöffnet, jedoch war die nahegelegene Partymeile noch geschlossen, sodass unsere kleine Familie dort zwar spazieren und gucken konnte, aber keine großen Menschenmassen unterwegs waren. Der Strand war oft menschenleer und wunderschön. Das Zentrum war easy in 20 min zu Fuß oder mit Bimmelbahn zu erreichen. Sharon ist eine super Gastgeberin

Het was een heerlijk huis, tussen de lokale bevolking met alle faciliteiten en de boulevard op korte loopafstand. Ontzettend fijne host die pro actief was in de communicatie en een lieve moeder en buurvrouw die iedere week kwamen schoonmaken en mij hielpen om de leuke lokale plekjes te ontdekken. Als je het echte leven wilt ontdekken is dit absoluut een aanrader!!! Catia en familie, ontzettend bedankt voor de goede zorgen en tot een volgende keer!

Lovely Villa near the Tennis Academy in Vale Do Lobo. Maria was always very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again if we visit the area in the future.

Pedro was always available when needed and is very pleasant to deal with. The apartment is located within the walls of the Old Town. It is a ten-minute walk to the city centre, police building, and public square. The apartment is close to so many great things. The Cultural Centre and Church Museum are very close. Within a 10-15 minute walk, you will find unlimited shops and places to eat and drink.

Was een fijn verblijf. Voorzag in alle voorzieningen. Bedden sliepen goed. Mooi en groen. Zwembad en de bijbehorende voorzieningen waren niet helemaal intact / netjes, maar dat lag denk ik ook aan het laagseizoen.

Great place to stay as a base for walking the coastal trails of the western Algarve. Easy to find, and Scott gave us a warm welcome and explained how everything worked. Bedroom and living area were a good size for the 2 of us. Well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare and cook simple meals (even has good knives, which are rare in rentals), plus 2 types of coffee maker - hurrah! The bed is comfortable and the shower excellent! Terraces off the kitchen and on the roof looked lovely, but, sadly, we didn’t have enough good weather to enjoy them fully. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Vasco is a thoughtful and helpful host. I have stayed in many short term rentals and I can honestly say that Vasco is the best host we ever had. He provided clear directions and numerous recommendations. He answered my texts very quickly. He is a genuine and caring host and it is clear he takes pride in this home. It was immaculate and the view was amazing. It is next to a road but the road is not busy. It is close to the airport yet still very quiet and tranquil. There is a sweet little coffee shop down the road with a couple of outdoor tables looking out on the sea. Since we visited in winter we were very impressed with the heating in the home. Also there is an excellent washing machine here which we were grateful for. Vasco left us several regional treats which we did not expect but were very thankful for. You will love it here!

Having parking in front of the unit was convenient. The sunset views from hot tub were stunning. Note that the steps to get to the hot tub are steep, but these did not impact our enjoyment. The unit has a dryer which is a huge plus as most other locations do not have one. We did not use the pool so no comment. The Kitchen is well appointed and has everything you would need. We reported that the juicer was broken the next morning, which was not an issue for us, but Paulo, brought a new one over within an hour. We were more than impressed. The only thing missing for us, was a barbecue, which we regularly use. Not sure if this was related to condominium rules. Lots of great restaurants and a good grocery store within a short drive. We would definitely recommend this unit for people using it as a home base to explore the Algarve’s … which is what we did. Great communications all around.

Alojamiento moderno y con muchas comodidades. La zona de patio y piscina es muy agradable, con preciosas vistas. En un entorno tranquilo. Rosa siempre atenta a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Estuvimos con nuestro perrito y nos sentimos como en casa.

Absolutely lovely experience. Gorgeous place on the Douro River. 1 small issue and she responded and took care of immediately. Tram is right outside garage to take you to the heart of the city. Great restaurants and coffee/wine shops and park close by. A couple of our favorite things were the train station tiles, ciclo e-bike tour w Inez (amazing!). The gardens by the super Boch are beautiful. Great great seafood everywhere! We tried so many new things, also loved la salumeria tiny Italian place with amazing portions and so friendly and cute. Stay here! We’ll be back!

Vânia and her father were very good hosts. Her father met us after 11pm for a very last minute check-in and helped us bring all our suitcases upstairs. Vânia provided a lot of local recommendations. The space was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location is in a quiet neighborhood. A little far for walking to the historic center, but easily accessible via metro. Just a couple stops and you’re downtown. Uber is also inexpensive in the area and a great way to get to all the sites. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again if we find ourselves back in Porto!

This was our third visit to Lagos and the first time in Daniela’s apartment. It was by far the best place we have stayed. The apartment was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was great for walking to the harbour and promenade and walking distance to two great beaches. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby and we tried a couple of Daniela’s recommendations which were superb. We can’t wait to come back and will book this apartment again for the amazing views and location.

We had a fantastic time at Daniela's place. The house is exactly as described and as can be seen on the pictures. We loved that she left a bottle of wine and some croissants for breakfast for us upon arrival. The neighborhood is lovely and it is only a short walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the place.

A really great townhouse right in the heart of old Tavira. Close to great restaurants, bars, shops, market, river all within walking distance of your front door. You can take the boat to the island or hire bicycles and explore the miles of coastal park on quiet cycle tracks. The space is so cleverly designed and beautifully decorated, it has everything you could possibly need. Francisco was great, met us on arrival and was very quick to respond to any questions we had, a great host. Can thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautiful views, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Very convenient with a quick 7min walk through the town to the beach. Guida, the host, was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!!

We had a really great time here, the property has a lot to offer! Everything was good in shape, clean and taken care of. We definitely would go back and totally recommend the property!

Antonio is a very kind person and the house is just as advertised. It is spacious and has a nice outdoor area to spend time in. The kitchen is well-equipped. My friends found the matresses in the "kids bedroom" and the bed upstaris very hard but this is certainly a matter of personal taste. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. Also there is no door to the upper level so the person sleeping there has to deal with noise coming from downstairs. The house is a 20-25 min walk away from the city center. All in all the house was as we expected it to be. Antonio was certainly very nice and helpul even though we did not meet in person. I can recommend his place.

Had a great stay here in March, really well located near to surf beach’s. Very nice place, would book again.
