I love this place! Came with my boyfriend for a little getaway weekend and it was exactly what I needed. I loved the peace and the woods around us. The place is clean and beautiful, exactly as described! We came from 3 hrs away and got to visit lots of places around the area, too. You’re only about 10 min away from restaurants and shops and coffee places, lots of things to do. Monica was extremely communicative and helpful, she gave me some great ideas on what to do around the area and was also very flexible with the check-in time. Will definitely recommend and would love to come back!! Thank you Monica! ❤️

I was so thrilled to come back to the yurt after last visiting in 2017! My life is very different now but I found the same peace of mind and truly enjoyed the gorgeous space. Everything was so beautiful, comfortable, clean, and my stay was effortless. I would come back anytime and I love telling people about staying here.

First yurt experience and would definitely come back. Its conveniently located to wintergreen resort and plenty of breweries and wineries within a short distance. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need from toiletries, cleaning supplies, kcups etc. Will be back and highly recommend!

Our family of four stayed here during a cool winter night on the edge of freezing. The yurt was clean and spacious and TOASTY when we arrived. Overnight the indoor temperature dropped into the 50s, but Annette had warned us to bring extra blankets and we were all perfectly comfortable. The provided pillows and linens were comfortable, and the heated mattress cover on the queen worked wonders. The location itself is okay in the winter. We felt we had to keep an eye on the kids given the pitch down to the river and the speed of the road, but they both enjoyed it. The lot itself doesn’t connect to walking trails or larger areas to explore which was too bad. By car, it was very accessible to town and to the Luray caverns. Definitely a fun way to do an overnight!

Beautiful, clean, well-kept yurt. Chantal was great at communication and directions. Nice, unexpected welcome gifts for my kids. Great location close to hiking, restaurants and lots to do to keep you busy at the yurt and property. we only got to stay one night but would definitely return for a longer stay.

Me and some buddies stayed here over spring break and it was the perfect place to stay. The location was great and was very close to all the places we wanted to go to. We had no problems whatsoever and we felt very welcomed and at-home with them. The wood stove saved us on the cold nights and we couldn’t complain. The hosts are very respectful and extremely friendly. This was a great trip and we would definitely stay there again!

my wife and I had an absolutely majestic stay here. We enjoyed our coffee out on the deck each morning surrounded by nature with the morning mist all around us. It felt like a dream! the kitchen had everything we needed and it was over all beyond our expectations! So cozy we didn't want to leave and we are already planning to stay again!

Loved the yurt! The location is perfect - near all the outdoor activities in the area. As well, close to many vineyards. I really liked the yurt style… simple, easy. And the out door bathtub/shower was a bonus! It was such a peaceful place…. Loved that it did not have a TV. Stayed an extra night we liked it so much.

Fran was an exceptional host, and the yurt was such a fun way to ring in the New Year. I won't mince words: it was chilly, but the buddy heater was a welcome amenity, and the bed was beyond comfy and piled high with blankets. The bathhouse 250 steps away was terrific, but by far and away my favorite perk was the en suite--the composting toilet around the corner on the deck, something I didn't know about until I arrived! Fran thinks of everything, and, given I was starving on arrival, the freshly baked bread was such a welcome treat.
