Fantastic. Place was great and had a real home like feel. Another thing albeit small, the bath towels were large and soft. We had some rough weather the day before we left and Beth proactively reached out and offered us a later check out which we took advantage of. Would most definitely stay again!!

There were 2 people who actually spent the night and thoroughly enjoyed the space, or so they thought . My cousin apparently has 2 friends come by to sit in the hot tub after a night out of reconnecting and reminiscing . They were quiet and respectful but yet were accused of "partying" and cancelled the next nights reservation. If you plan on going out, having company or using hot tub after 9, go elsewhere. The space itself was unique and had a lot of charm. BUT, their cleaner should take a look under the couch cushions to get the debris of food from the last 6 months. Additionally, the dust under every piece of furniture waa enough anyone to send anyone into into an asthma attack. I recommend the space if you don't speak or say boo, and you don't mind crumbs from last year's family vacation.

This was a great ADK spot for our family. There were 8 of us and the house has lots of comfy spaces. Beds were comfortable, living areas were large and inviting with a lot of space to lounge and play board games. Very clean. Kitchen was a little dated, but great space for many cooks to put together our meals. We will definitely be back for our outings. Great location if you want to ski whiteface and visit lake placid.

Great house at a great location. House was nice and warm despite the 0 degree weather with high winds. Driveway was maintained clear during 15” of snow. Great sledding on the property, ice fishing on the lake and cross country skiing on the rail trail that passes the house. Main floor and upper floor were great, lower level needs some TLC and the two lower level beds were very uncomfortable. No problem with the rest of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to gather on the main floor. Could use a larger table, plenty of room in the house for our group of 13 but not a big enough table for us to all eat at together (kitchen island provided most of the needed extra spots). Overall a great place at a great location.

Absolutely gorgeous and felt right at home from the minute we stepped on the porch. Ona made us feel so welcome with thoughtful touches. Incredible place for some badly need R&R. Thank you for sharing.

Great Lake front cabin with lots of amenities. Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, hot tub- kept our family of five, including 3 teenagers occupied for days. Love the addition of the gas fire pit on the porch off the living room- started and ended every day out there, watching and listening to all the lake has to offer. Great trail running right from east shore drive. We loved it! We will be back!

Beth was an extremely friendly host that always had solutions to any questions or issues that arose during my stay. The place was very clean and the hot tub was a great amenity to have during the wintertime. Definitely plan on staying again!

Erin's place was wonderful for our family of 12! We agree with the other reviews - the photos don't do it justice. It was clean and well-equipped. The only negative was that we arrived on a very hot and humid day, so we definitely very hot, with no AC. We brought some fans and did purchase some larger fans. The kitchen was perfect - we made most of our meals. We did go out one night and the Gran View and really like that suggestion. The paddle boards/kayaks and floats were so nice to not have to rent. The river is super calm before and after storms or in the mornings. We rented a pontoon boat from Wellsey Island, and it was dropped off at a nearby marina. We docked the boat on one side or the other of the dock, depending on the current or rough waters. We loved the quiet road for walks, and only a 25 minute drive to A-bay. The grill worked well. All in all, it was a great place!

My wife and I just spent one of the more enjoyable weeks in our long history of visits to the Adirondacks. Jerry and Linda’s log cabin on Middle Saranac Lake is, quite simply, a treasure. Awesome location right on shoreline. Very nice man (Dan) motored us across the lake. Rustic but very comfortable. Spectacular views. Great kitchen. Comfortable bedding. Propane lighting throughout. Weber grill on porch. Two kayaks and one canoe included. Aluminum boat (also included) with electric start Honda was perfect. Lots of tiny islands nearby. Hot (very!) shower, flush toilet. Swimming right from dock. Sandy beach close by. Sunsets, sunrises, total peace and serenity. Just what we were hoping for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You will too! David and Debbie B

Perfect little get away cabin tucked in the woods. Easy, walkable access to the lake with beautiful views. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and informative from the start. Would love to stay here again!

I was coming into the Adirondacks to do some backpacking. We were going to be arriving late and starting the trip early in morning, so we just needed a place to crash for the night and sort some gear in the morning while we had breakfast. This was a perfect spot and exactly what we needed, though it would have been tempting to relax there for a few days.

This was our second time at Rich's place. Rich was a great communicator and very responsive. The home is cozy, easy to work in the kitchen, and has a good gas BBQ on the porch (the BBQ could use a cleaning). Two main sleeping areas were perfect for us and the bathroom was all that we needed. A covered campfire area with benches was fantastic (both years we were there), and the proximity to Upper Saranac Lake Marina and the lake could not be better - just a few minutes up the road. I wish the house was not so close to the road as we prefer the sounds of the woods to the sounds of the road, HOWEVER, we were out recreating all day, so that really was not a big deal. Certainly, we would love to return again next summer, as Rich's house feels like our own vacation home! I would recommend this house to a couple or two friends or a small family seeking proximity to the lake for water sports and trails for hiking. Thanks again, Rich. We had a fantastic time!

Worth every penny paid! This place is amazing, especially the little cabana on the water! It’s where I slept while my husband stayed in the house in the kids! So peaceful 🥰 Host was a gem! Thoughtful host!

Camp Timberock is a rare find. We chose the cabin because of the unlimited options for paddling and hiking. Despite the cold temperatures, we took advantage of the area and spent a lot of time exploring. One of my favorite parts of Timberock would be the deck with the outdoor fireplace. We also appreciated all of the supplies in the kitchen, the extra blankets and the endless supply of wood for the fire. Hope to return next year!

Everything was exactly as expected. We loved the rustic charm of the cabin. The property has an absolutely beautiful view of the lake. We caught a lot of fish right in front of the cabin and the kids loved it. We would definitely visit again!

Anita's cottage made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It had a great beach vibe look to it with all her personal touches in the decor and design of the cottage. The cottage is very sizable and to have the extra bathroom in the nearby shed was truly a luxury. The cottage is well situated right on the water with only steps on the large multi level deck giving access to the St. Lawrence River. Swimming was great for our family and dog as the access to the river was shallow and gradual to the lake. Both of the full days we had at the cottage was sunny and clear and we were able to take advantage of the stunning sunset that landed directly on the deck of the cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary spices and utensils necessary to cook inside or on the BBQ right outside. Anita was very responsive to our requests and was accommodating to a last minute change in the number of guests and allowed us to charge our Tesla in front of the cottage.

we were lucky to stay in cottage 9 on the May long weekend, when they reopen the resort, and I should say it couldn't be better. The host was such a nice and informative lady to go behind our expectations and make our stay even more memorable. we will definitely recommend the place. Thank you for everything :)

Anne’s place was a great spot to stay while we visited family in the area! It was private and quiet and the surroundings were so peaceful! We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic hosts and a great location with lots of space and piece and quiet on the river shore. Loved the hammocks hanging up in different places. The pool was clean and our girls loved having it to themselves. The cottage(s) could do with an little upgrade especially the kitchen but beds were comfortable and it did have all we needed for 2 days including a barbecue.

Loved our long weekend over there!! the place is huge , the river is beautiful ! canoe , kayaks , paddle board..... fishing awesome!! the yard and pool is also awesome for kids and adults alike!! people were friendly and easygoing!! will visit again for sure!
