We celebrated a birthday weekend with friends at this residence. The house was cute and welcoming, equipped with everything necessary for the weekend. The hot tub and fire pit were particularly enjoyable. Our dog appreciated the fenced yard for recreation. Alejandro responded quickly and was super helpful with anything we might have needed.

This Airbnb is exceptional-it’s extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen is nicely appointed. We loved the hot tub & lush vegetation that surrounds the house. Hope to stay here again for our next Carlsbad trip!

Great space! Private, cozy, comfortable. Good proximity to Pacific Beach. And the jacuzzi and sauna were perfect to come home to after a day around tie.

Great stay. The host was very responsive. Location was very centralized. The place was very clean and safe with extra towels and blankets. The hot tub made the stay! The only thing I would note is street parking. However, we never needed to walk more than 5 minutes after finding an open spot. Definitely worth the stay if you don’t mind off site parking!

Very good place good location host had everything very clean and tidy at arrival and was a very nice guy! Would definitely stay again and recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

I cannot say enough about this place. I loved staying here and would 1000% stay again. Everything was spotless, the view was amazing, I’ve never been more relaxed and at peace. They have everything you could need,everything was thoughtfully put together. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Great house for our big family spring break! Location was ideal for us to explore all of La Jolla and San Diego. The house was clean, well equipped, and stocked with amenities when we arrived. Graciela and Alex had excellent communication and were quick to respond about the few minor maintenance issues we encountered during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this property for a multi-family visit, and it exceeded all expectations. The children thoroughly enjoyed the various entertainment options, including the pool table and outdoor golf. The spacious room that accommodated the kids for a memorable sleepover was a standout feature. Overall, the stay was exceptional, with fantastic hosts who made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families seeking a fun and comfortable getaway.

You enter the house, a little uncertain. From the outside, a little underwhelming. You pass through the cosy living room, still a little underwhelming. And THEN, WOW. The pool area, the tennis court, the Vista to the west, the mountains...spectacular, breathtaking, everything as advertised and more. Back in the house, you find a very well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable bedrooms, a unique "guesthouse" for the Seniors (in our case), and above all...everything in working order. Absolutely no issues! Bravo to our great landlord, who was a super communicator. Overall: our family of 12, across 3 generations, found wonderful places to be together as well as to disperse. A great time was had by all in this Vista Villa wonder!

Our two families enjoyed our stay at Villa Descanso. The kids loved the pool and were in/out from the moment they woke up through the evenings. The adults enjoyed the outdoor firepit…once we confirmed how to safely use it. The owners were super quick to reply to my message asking about it! The home is exactly like the photos. However what you do not see is how fully stocked the house is for your arrival. We didn’t need toiletries, paper goods, trash bags, laundry/dishwasher pods, coffee, tea (amazing selection), any kitchen utensils, or even band aids. The house had it all!

Life is about making wonderful memories for yourself and others. And Vita Bella certainly did that for us and our families. Sue and Dennis were terrific throughout our stay and were very accommodating to our requests. The property was outstanding from the house itself to the backyard oasis to the front porch sunsets. Absolutely stunning.

Great house. It looks like the pictures. On our last morning there, we noticed a second thermostat in the upstairs hallway. Likely a dual zone AC that I wish we had realized lol. We paid for the heated pool and the water was very warm. The fridge stopped getting cold, but there are 2 more fridges in the house. The hosts also had an appliance guy come out the following day to fix the fridge. We are happy with our choice.

Sheila’s beautiful villa was absolutely what we needed after a long exhausting day with two toddlers at Legoland. We had stayed at a residence before here so we knew the layout and amenities more or less. It’s exactly what we expected and more. The beautiful pools (with a baby friendly pool), the kids club, the beautiful views, the delicious on-site restaurants, complimentary fruit-infused water, the adorable stuffed animal seals for the kids, and more. We loved that the kids could stay in the living room. Sheila had provided two cribs that were already set up prior to our arrival. The check-in was super smooth! We communicated for days before our arrival and we felt really happy with everything!!! We loved the amenities and after Legoland, we needed a bit of luxury and rest for ourselves. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely villa.

My wife and I booked this stay for our wedding weekend for and our bridal party and loved every moment of our stay. The place was clean, the amenities were as advertised and Simon was the perfect host. He answered very quickly and gave us everything we needed to enjoy our perfect weekend. On top of everything else we were allowed to bring our dogs last minute for an extremely low price in my opinion. This generosity took a lot of stress out of our very special trip. I would 10/10 recommend this stay to anybody looking for a relaxing and stress free trip!

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

The entire area was beautiful. There were several different cabins separated by little sitting areas with lots of chairs and tables. The land scaping was amazing with bamboo and trees with so many bushes and flowers and immaculately maintained. Unfortunately, it rained the days we were there, so we couldn't really take advantage of it, but even so, just being there was so peaceful.

Really amazing place, the game room is such an amazing touch! Great weekend getaway!

We had an incredible time at the Almost Heaven cabin! The cabin is the perfect mix of rustic charm and creature comforts, like the clawfoot tub, stocked kitchen, and comfy furnishings. The host was extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We had quite a bit of snowfall, and she took the extra time to send us a video showing us how to find the house in snowy conditions and where to park. We also appreciated all the special touches, like the hot tub being already warmed up when we arrived. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Our kids loved playing in the snow and then soaking in the hot tub surrounded by trees. As mentioned in the description, there are some stairs and uneven surfaces, so probably not ideal for someone with mobility issues, but the cabin worked extremely well for our family of four and our doggo. The downstairs bathroom was super fun… it reminded us of the Madonna Inn! Lots of quirk and fun to be had at this special place. We hope to come back soon!
