Cozy and private. The hot tub was great and Josh and Sam were great hosts.

The cabin was a wonderful spot. Quiet and private. Adam was very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately the Wifi was out and Telus couldn't get out to fix it, but that's not on Adam and a risk of staying in a remote area.

We had such a lovely stay at Joules place! Everything was just like the pictures, beautiful walk to the beach and awesome hottub! My kids loved playing some games like monopoly and twister which the home had for us to use. She was super responsive with our question about the hottub. Would stay here again for sure. We really enjoyed our stay at Nicole’s. The house was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and into town. Nicole frequently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we made many meals there. We look forward to returning!

This independent dwelling is in a resort community with multiple small houses on small land. The location beside a beautiful park is good. We did a day trip to Tofino; the driving is long. Though we never met Judy, she provided everything which is required and there is a well-stocked kitchen for cooking dinner. I recommend unconditionally.

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

We had a wonderful time here. The home was just like the photos - the view was truly spectacular. We had beautiful sunny days and enjoyed having a beach right at our doorstep. We have a young family and found the place to be very family friendly, with beach toys available, a safe home for young kids, a playground nearby, and a beach safe for young kids. My children especially loved seeing the seals and hearing them bark! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home, everything was clean, the beds comfy - no problems! Highly recommend, and we'd love to stay again.

Excellent place, gracious hosts. Beautiful beach house right near Trevor Beach Park and also the highway, five minutes or less to get into Parksville and there are lots of restaurants in and among the various resorts. Many thoughtful touches, including books and board games and even a small Christmas tree, highly recommended.

What an absolute gem! This cabin was perfect. The couple that owns this are lovely and have a beautiful dog too! They pay attention to details and keep the place extremely clean, too! They are very kind, helpful, and worked with us when we were arriving later in the day than expected. Such wonderful hosts with a gift for hospitality. We felt so cared for and blessed by them! We would come again in a heartbeat!! Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic quaint little beach cottage to enjoy the island's natural beauty. Easy access to fun on the water. The family really enjoyed the lawn sports items the hosts provided. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Jon was flexible with our situation, we are locals to the street and had to do a restoration at our house. Worked with our budget and welcomed our dog! The house was perfect for our 2.5 month stay. Well stocked kitchen, cozy towels and ample space. Beds are a little hard for our liking but we made it work. Thanks again Jon! Would suggest to anyone needing long term and would be great for short term as well.

It truly is such a magical place. The cabin was so cozy and we definitely spent a lot of time on the lake. This was our second time here, and we hope it’s not the last!

Donna was a gracious host, with lots of recommendations. Her place is a great launching pad to explore the many great hikes around Powell River, and the beach access was great for our dog to explore.

The cottage had all the amenities that I would need during my stay. It was beautifully appointed and very clean. George even installed a grab bar by the toilet for me the next day that I was there. Loved the added treats of smoked salmon and cookies. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much George and Marion.

beautiful place which is right on the ocean. The view was incredible! The back deck was amazing and we spent hours on it. It was easy to walk down the steps to paddleboard on the ocean every evening. Kitchen was well stocked and even had snacks for the kids which was really appreciated. If we are ever back on Hornby Island we would stay again.

This place was amazing and had everything that we needed, the two kids slept on the pull-out couch. There was a lot of beautiful decor in the place and special touches. the view was spectacular, we enjoyed using the fire place. hope we come back one day. thankyou.

Amazing stayed! Highly recommended. Brian went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed and comfortable. The communication was seamless, with quick responses to any questions I had before and during the stay.

This was our first time staying at Cozy Cottage but not our first time staying in the Welcome Woods/Sargeant Bay area. From the minute we walked into the cottage we knew we’d made a good choice! Cozy Cottage is quiet and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, perfect for two people who like to make their own meals. It’s a 20 minute walk to the beach at Sargeant Bay and, from there, there is access to many forest trails. The neighbourhood store is also nearby, about a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be back!

Gail’s cottage was an incredibly warm and welcoming place to stay. She is thoughtful about every part of the cottage with lovely decor, comfortable bedding, and a very clean space. The incredible beach was just a short walk away. She was so friendly and responsive to all my questions, I can’t wait to come back!

Family of 4 had a great stay. Kids were happy with the second bedroom. The private docks offer us easy access to the water for kayaking. We were amazed with every little details where perfectly turquoise colour matched down to the pot handles 😃 Highly recommended!🙂

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

My family had a great stay at Louise’s cottage. Easy to find and really lovely layout. The kids were excited to sleep in the loft bedroom on the second level and I was pleased there was a door to the bedroom to keep noise out in the evenings! The other two bedrooms on the main level are very comfortable and far apart from each other. There’s a small backyard off the deck, a rustic bridge over a stream and then Little Trib beach. We had a blast going to and from easily during our stay and knew ahead of time that the beach is considered “clothing optional” but Louise was kind enough to add this detail into our checking in information among some other helpful facts. We didn’t have any issues while we were in the cabin and felt all the details were thought of including everything you’d need to start a fire in the wood stove. We would absolutely stay again!
