Powys : séjours à la ferme

We had a great time here! Everything was as described, very clean and Gail was very responsive. The space was warm and cozy, perfect after a soggy walk around the Brecon Beacons!!

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

We spent the bank holiday weekend at the Granary. The Granary is well-equipped with everything we needed. Bez was very helpful and responsive to our needs. The view is outstanding from the Granary. The surrounding area is lovely and we were able to do some walks directly from the house. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful weeks stay at the Shippin it was an ideal base to use to visit friends living locally. Ideal with the dog as the Shropshire way was literally on our doorstep. Lots of good walks without needing to drive. Jeannie was a fab host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely visit again.

Second time coming back to Dafydd’s & Meryl’s and it’s always a dream. From the communication to the barn itself - absolutely perfect! Totally private and secluded location apart from some very cute sheep. Look forward to going back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Judith’s. The property is immaculate and clean and host is incredibly helpful and great at answering messages. We were even left some biscuits and arrived to a cosy fire. Great location as only a 20 min drive to Hay on Wye. Will definitely be back.

Had a long weekend away for my partners birthday and it was everything we wanted and more! Graham was an excellent host, making sure we were able to contact him at any point and gave loads of helpful information about the area. The carriage was in a beautiful location that was so peaceful and quiet and a lovely little place to come and recharge. Was close to Abergavenny so could pop in if we needed anything, and a perfect location to get some great hikes and views in! Will absolutely be coming back to stay ☺️

There were four of us, all adults who used the accommodation for two nights for a local running event. Perfect for the four of us. Would suit up to 5 adults and 1 child. Utility room very useful for those who are into out door sports, washing machine excellent. Downstairs perfect for a group, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Very clean and comfortable. Quite and beautiful views, off the beaten track; the main town is about a 20-25 minutes drive and the roads fairly narrow, takes longer in the dark and fog/mist. This suited us, but make sure you take provisions. There's a well stocked Co-op in Crickhowell. We ran the Black Mountains nearby and I absolutely loved the area, remote and perfect for our 20 and 40 mile running event. Would highly recommend and Hannah was welcoming, and communicated quickly.

The property is in a beautiful quiet location, it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful stay. Matthew and Lowrie have done a fantastic job with the cottage. Really well appointed, modern, yet with a homely country cottage feeling. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, perfect for a relaxing stay and Ideal if you're an active outdoors type. We are already planning our next visit.

A beautiful barn in a picturesque location. Sheri was responsive leading up to the stay and if we had questions when we were there. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Had a fantastic few days at the Byre, beautiful location with short drives to local villages which was perfect for us! Accommodation was excellent, exactly as pictured and described, well equipped with everything we needed and comfortable. We chose the right time of year to visit as got to help feed the lambs with Sam and family. Such great hosts, I can imagine we will be back again soon!

This was a beautiful place to stay and although only 2 of us plenty of room for get togethers and families … It was very peaceful and private considering the farm … It’s perfect located for all walks in Wales; especially Henryd Waterfall 5 min drive The extra addition of a BBQ as well as the extra touches of a Prosecco and crisps to welcome us as well as providing anything we needed during our stay. Very helpful and lovely. Will defined be booking back in the next couple of months!!

Had a great stay. Lovely cottage and fantastic location. Alastair provided a generous pile of logs to use in the fireplace and he has plenty more available at an extremely low cost. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of hot water and wonderfully comfortable bed and soft bed linen. Location is great and extensive selection of walks to do (starting from the cottage) on laminated maps. Lots of local information in the books/brochures on the bookshelves too.

We had a truly memorable stay at this charming 18th-century Welsh longhouse, nestled in a stunning Welsh valley. From the moment we arrived, the cottage’s character and warmth made us feel right at home. The wood-burning stove added such a cozy touch, keeping us warm and comfortable throughout our stay, while the rustic yet beautifully furnished interiors gave the place a wonderful old-world charm. The loft rooms were a big hit with the kids – they loved having their own little space to play and sleep in. The surrounding valley was an absolute delight, offering many opportunities for outdoor activities. The whole family enjoyed scenic walks in the breathtaking countryside. We also appreciated the little touches that made this cottage feel special, from the thoughtful decor to the picturesque surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the serenity of nature. Thank you Alice and Louise for such a wonderful time. We cannnot wait to come back and stay with you again!

This is a great place to stay especially if you like walking in the Brecon Beacons and surrounding Countryside. This is our second visit and we highly recommend the accommodation and the welcome you get from William. The log burner in the cottage is fantastic at heating the place no matter how cold it is outside and with Leominster and Hereford not being too far away it's easy to find some great places to eat.

We had a great time in the Brecon area and in Joanne’s place. The barn is spacious and cosy with everything you need for a stay away from home. We had lovely weather and went out and about everyday exploring in the area. Close to beautiful scenery, towns and lots to do. Joanne and Neil gave clear instructions and it was easy to find the house, overall a great place to stay - thank you for the welcome treats :)

We loved our stay at Llangorse, and Jamie's accomodation was amazing. Very clean and tidy, a great size, lots of space to relax in, and really well stocked with things: from some lovely provisions when we first checked in, walking maps and booklets, soap and toilet roll, chocolates on the pillows, and even eye masks for night time. It is one of the best AirBnbs we've stayed in, and we would happily come back again in a flash!

Katy’s place was charming and cosy. We requested breakfast items as well and the food was delicious and wholesome. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfy. It made for an easy base for walks, a trip to Hay-on-Wye and chilled reading/relaxing. Would love to return!
