We really enjoyed our stay at Lime Tree Lodge, it’s really well designed and in a great location. The views from the lodge (and the hot tub) are wonderful and although it’s on the same site as the host you are very much left to enjoy yourself unless you need something in which case the hosts are very obliging. I would definitely recommend and return.

A lovely house for a staycation. Beautiful setting and ideal for bringing the dog too. Lots of nearby walks and a short car journey to Knighton with pubs to eat. Rachel was friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again.

Another lovley stay at Darren and Lindsay's place. This time it was the cabin which is my favourite. Extremely private, fabulous views. Place was exceptionally clean with everything you need. Hot tub literally just outside sliding doors. Gorgeous deep bath and fab shower. Grateful for bottle of wine too 😌 100% will stay again

Harp Meadow is a very well appointed lodge, with all amenities included for a home from home experience. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and a great place to relax. The cabin is surrounded by great views of the Welsh countryside with many footpaths to enjoy beautiful walks. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and large enough to comfortably seat six adults. We have had a wonderful break and were very sorry to leave.

It was a lovely relaxing and peaceful stay. Away from all the crowds with beautiful views. Morning breakfast with mountain views. Lots of nature and hearing to lots of lambs. Great gateway for weekends and bank holiday weekend or a week . Rebecca and Bex are lovely hosts. I would highly recommend this place

This was my first time using Air BnB and it couldn’t have gone any better. Palma was very lovely and very happy to chat and answer any questions i might have. The lodges were good, spacious and nicely spread out from the other lodges. The outside hot tub even had a private wood structure above and around it which was very ideal! I think i saw another review on here saying Pamela put on the heating before they arrived. This is true. Was so nice and toasty when we got in. I went up with my girlfriend for valentines (she loves horses) and Pamela even set up heart shaped chocolates on the bed which was a nice touch. The horse riding was fun. Was a first time for me but everyone in the horse riding stables were really welcoming and I’m sure the missus had a fun time watching me get on and off the horse😅. Ultimately, I highly recommend, even if horses aren’t for you. Everything else was so good and couldn’t have asked for more from Pamela. Hopefully, we will be back soon.

Really enjoyed our stay, The lodge was clean, cosy and in a very private location. Ceri's communication was second to none, Everything was as described, Hot tub and views were unreal, Just a very private place to relax and unwind. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back :)

Mini Corner is a little gem! It's the perfect little retreat if you've planned to hike up Pen Y Fan, with a car park just 4 minutes drive (35min walk). The caravan itself is clean and perfectly laid out with everything you need for your stay. The alpacas and miniature shetlands as neighbours just top it off, not to mention the unbelievably beautiful view over the reservoir. Felicity was very quick to answer any questions I had and the fresh eggs were delicious! If you are looking for a scenic, peaceful stay, I couldn't recommend Far From highly enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely book again! The cabin was clean, well equipped and very cosy. The cost was very reasonable. The location is perfect, 40 minutes from Mt. snowdon and 25 minutes from mid Wales. The holiday park is very nice and the dog walking area is great. I would definitely recommend staying here. Geoffrey was a great host, very responsive and his instructions for check in were clear and check in was seamless.

Wow! Maybe it's because I was looking for a quiet time away by myself, but this place just met my expectations and then some! Tranquil, amazing hosts and the most beautiful surroundings! Marjorie responded promptly to every query and she and Tom made me feel right at home! She made time to show me some of the amazing local places and invited me to feed one of their newly born lambs. To top it all they accommodated me to witness the birth of a lamb literally on the morning before I left. I left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, inspired and I can't wait for when I can go again! The cabin is basic but has all one needs. The views, quiet and friendly hosts more than male up for it! Thank you so much Marjorie and Tom! 😊

If you're after peace and serenity, this is the spot for you!!! Such an amazing cabin and stay! The images are exactly what you see in person, and Myles was super responsive and helpful during our stay. The hot tub was amazing, the bathroom and general living area was so modern, cosy and well kept - honestly no other words than AMAZING. Super peaceful, quiet, and just a 5 star stay. Definitely want to come back.

Sally’s cosy cabin was so perfect for a couple night’s getaway with stunning walks easy to reach. Would highly recommend the Carding Mill Valley loop! The cabin had everything and more, every time we needed something, we’d open a drawer or cabinet and there it was. The cooking shed was also a delight with an easy to use pizza oven and BBQ, we brought all the food we needed for a couple of nights and only left for a long daytime walk. Biggest plus was the gated paddock area so our little cockapoo could explore without risk of escaping. With such wonderful hosts, we’d happily revisit the cabin again and again.

4 of us and a dog used the lodge as a base for walking. It was warm and comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous after a day on the hills. Plenty of eateries in walking distance.

This is quite simply the place to stay if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of life and to have a taste of off the grid living. this cabin not only makes you appreciate life In the wild but at the same time give you a very warm outdoors home feel. its a cabin, with the best cabin interior. a lovely log burner, a bed that wants you to stay in it and a lovely little seating area to relax on an evening. upon arrival, Sian was there to greet us, might I add with a bag of goodies. tea, coffee, milk and some jaffer cakes too! we had a lovely chat about the their farm and local area including where to eat and and take our dogs. we stayed for 4 nights, it felt like two we had that much fun. everything is as described and didn't disappoint. we couldn't of asked for anything more from these guys. it simply was a perfect get away for what we wanted. surrounded by animals, nature and hosted by a perfect couple. this is an absolute must if you want to Try something outside of normal life

Beautiful place to stay, was so quiet. Cabin was so lovely and clean, everything you need while away and more. Host was brilliant and always replied when messaged, we will definitely be back this summer.

Booked Georgie’s beautiful cabin for a weekend away for my wife’s birthday, and she kept saying all weekend: “I think this is the best place I’ve ever been!” That just about sums up our weekend; we were lucky with the weather, the clear skies were the perfect canvas for those stunning views from the veranda, and the drives to and from Hay-on-Wye were very pleasant (albeit incredibly pothole-y!). The cabin itself was perfectly set out (and we are fairly harsh critics of this sort of thing normally!) and we felt incredibly relaxed the whole time. Georgie was very helpful and accommodating, and we felt very looked after. Would definitely book again in a heartbeat!

This place was perfect for a quiet weekend get away ! While there is not too much in the surrounding area, the peaceful atmosphere was perfect to get away from it all. Check in was super easy and the place had everything you needed. The hosts even got the little details right like ensuring there is women’s sanitary products for you in the bathroom and provide a heated mattress so you can stay warm even in winter. We were able to get up and personal with the horses and sheep which was amazing. Overall, amazing stay and would definitely book again

We had such a wonderful stay at Liz & Matt’s cabin! It was warm, cosy, clean and truly felt like a home away from home. The thoughtful touches (lovely gifts, sweet treats and handwritten notes) made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The cabin was equipped with everything we could possibly need, making our visit incredibly comfortable and stress-free. It’s clear that a lot of love and attention has gone into making this place special. We hope to visit again soon!

An incredibly cozy and well-equipped cabin, perfect for a family getaway! It had everything we needed for two adults and our 4-year-old, who absolutely adored the swivel chair, and the bunk bed quickly became his favorite spot. The area around is perfect for relaxing walks, and the view of the mountains from the cabin is stunning. It truly exceeded our expectations, and we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back for another stay!

A perfect peaceful hideaway in a rural location, but only five minutes drive to Machynlleth town center. Secure private parking is bonus. Very ckean, well laid out and loved the extra large shower cubicle. Would recommend and use again.

Me and my Girlfriend had a great weekend away here. Lovely surroundings lit up by stars at night. The cabin was warm and cosy and extremely clean. Hele was an amazing host, very welcoming and friendly with a great sense of humour. Thank you so much. We definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

The cabin is in an amazing area. So quiet. The views are beyond beautiful! The cabin was easy to find with the instructions given and the check in was really easy too. The cabin has all you need and the hot tub is a really nice addition. The owners are lovely and gave great recommendations. We collected thai food from Aberystwyth and it was so good! Would definitely stay again 😀
