Very remote and good break away from it all, around 15 minutes to the closest pub. Definitely worth stocking up on food and drinks to make it a fully remote experience. Great quality hot tub, clean cottage and had everything we needed.

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

The second time I have stayed at Richard’s beautiful hut. Such a peaceful location and lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The hut is well thought out and comfortable. Secure garden for my dog and fantastic hot tub!

Another lovley stay at Darren and Lindsay's place. This time it was the cabin which is my favourite. Extremely private, fabulous views. Place was exceptionally clean with everything you need. Hot tub literally just outside sliding doors. Gorgeous deep bath and fab shower. Grateful for bottle of wine too 😌 100% will stay again

This was my first time using Air BnB and it couldn’t have gone any better. Palma was very lovely and very happy to chat and answer any questions i might have. The lodges were good, spacious and nicely spread out from the other lodges. The outside hot tub even had a private wood structure above and around it which was very ideal! I think i saw another review on here saying Pamela put on the heating before they arrived. This is true. Was so nice and toasty when we got in. I went up with my girlfriend for valentines (she loves horses) and Pamela even set up heart shaped chocolates on the bed which was a nice touch. The horse riding was fun. Was a first time for me but everyone in the horse riding stables were really welcoming and I’m sure the missus had a fun time watching me get on and off the horse😅. Ultimately, I highly recommend, even if horses aren’t for you. Everything else was so good and couldn’t have asked for more from Pamela. Hopefully, we will be back soon.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here. Everything you need. Hot tub and views are to die for. One of kind place to stay . Will definitely return.

excellent little get away in a little hut in the welsh hills. - the hot tub was spotless. - the bed was comfy. - the space was perfect, had everything you needed. - private and not pestered by the owner. -walking distance to a great village shop and pub! -great walk up Hatterrall Hill - perfect watching the stars in your own hot tub or near ur firepit. loved it! thanks Joey!

We stayed a long weekend at the Glass House with another family of 4 and we DID NOT want to leave. The house was amazing. Perfect for x2 families of four or for x4 couples! We loved the hot tub, the lay out of the house, the kitchen had everything we needed! We took our girls pony trekking at the nearby activity centre and found some beautiful walks nearby. There was a local park perfect for kids, coffee and shop within walking distance. We would love to go back one day. Deri was super helpful and responded really quick to all my questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Gwardolau Cottage. Karl was very accommodating. Karl has great knowledge of the area and advised on where to visit nearby. We had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. The cottage is a great base to explore the Elan Valley.

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

Gosh, what a beautiful place Aberdar is! Whilst it’s off the beaten track it offers the most superb views across the hills, and the garden and orchard areas are so peaceful to wile away the hours. The cottage was perfect too, everything you need for a relaxing break. The dogs had a brilliant time making our holiday even easier! Loved every second ❤️

We had a lovely Christmas stay at Porth y Parc. Enjoyed the space and coziness of the property. Everything you need plus a few welcome extras like fresh eggs and mince pies. Beautiful countryside with walks from the door but only five minutes to the town. Perfect!

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

We had a very enjoyable few days in the Saddlery Cottage. So cosy, warm and welcoming. The location is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the walks from the door with the dogs, together with having access to the grounds.

Really lovely few days spent here - I got all the weathers, but it didn't spoil it one bit! Totally secluded, which is what I was after, but still with a proper bathroom and kitchen to hand, to could just completely relax and stay in. Cosy evenings with log burner roaring - very efficient and warmed up the hut quickly! Birds and squirrels visited the feeding station each morning, so felt very Snow White, and could hear owl at nighttime. As in other review: There are no plug sockets - None. So come fully charged and with charged up power packs, in case of emergency if you venture out (though, I recharged at pubs/cafes when I was out!) Beautiful views, quiet, secluded spot - You will completely relax here!

Helen’s house was very cosy 😊warm, clean, EVERYTHING you could need is there for you to use 😀never stayed in an Airbnb like it , Wales is beautiful wherever you go but this area was breathtaking PERFECT for dogs!!!! Garden very secure , perfect for bikes too 😬 Weather wasn’t great for the whole visit but I love rain it makes you feel alive , and it’s what we expect when in Wales 👍🏻 Conservatory was lovely to sit in too Would love to visit again Cannot recommend enough

We had a fantastic week here, the views and setting were just amazing. The accommodation was clean and cosy, Danielle and Tom were great hosts- so friendly and very very responsive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The kids loved the swimming pool and its long opening hours. Although there were other families staying in the other cottages it always felt very tranquil and peaceful with us often having exclusive use of the pool. It was great having a washing machine to use daily, as well as lots of other bonuses. We will definitely be back!

A place with the WOW factor. Scenery is just amazing. Beautiful little spot with the added bonus of a pool and our own private hot tub. Relaxing environment and spacious surroundings. Totally recommend.

Had the most amazing stay. Felt very welcome emma was lovely. Stunning place as described. Really just felt like a home to home. Kids enjoyed swimming pool, had amazing views while sitting in hot tub. Will defo book again. Really is a hidden gem. Great places nearby.

The cottage had a real old-time charm but was kept clean and well maintained. The wifi signal was good, but our cell networks were catching any signal - would recommend downloading offline maps. Location and directions are accurate on google maps. The last mile approach is a single road, but is still a paved road with good number of passing loops, but no streetlights ofcourse in the very remote locations. The turn and approach to the cottages however is well lit, so it was easy to locate in the dark. As advertised, it is self-catering and if the nearest restaurants are 15-20 mins away in the closest towns. The cluster of cottages, the play area, the sauna, the swimming pool and the game room plus the payable facilities of Spa and small Kitchen hire make it an ideal family and friends get away. Will definitely be going back again.

Myself and 5 of my friends stayed here for 2 nights, the accommodation was exactly as pictured and described, the location is very rural and absolutely beautiful, the only negative reviews we found was concerning WiFi but we had no problems with it at all. I would definitely recommend these cottages for couples, families or groups of friends, the value for money is phenomenal for the package. We will definitely return and 2 of my party have already booked stays with family for later in the year.

Carl and I had an excellent five days here over Christmas. The Wi-Fi/TV were a bit temperamental following the storm, but Gyles was happy to come round and look at it for us. I particularly enjoyed exploring the woodland behind the cottage, our dog loved it too.

This place was incredible! The views are breathtaking taking, the cottage has everything we needed and having a swimming pool right there was the icing on the cake! Thanks for a great stay! X

We had a wonderful few days here. The excellent location made it easy getting to some fantastic waterfall walks. Short drive to Brecon for the supermarket and takeaways. The house is gorgeous and the log fire and hot tub welcoming after a day exploring the superb surrounding area. Clare gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and there was essentials and treats to make us feel at home. We would loved to stay there again and would recommend it highly.
