Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

A truly beautiful cabin set in peaceful surroundings. The cabin has everything you need. I stayed for a wedding locally and it was the perfect location and provided everything I needed. Would highly recommend and would love to go back to explore the hikes around the area. Carol and George are wonderful hosts and very helpful.

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

The second time I have stayed at Richard’s beautiful hut. Such a peaceful location and lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The hut is well thought out and comfortable. Secure garden for my dog and fantastic hot tub!

We loved our stay, thank you! We wanted a quiet and relaxing way to ring in the New Year after a busy Christmas, and this was perfect. The cabin was cosy and warm, even during 50mph winds!

Lovely and. Cosy, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely time . Running late on arrival and host going out at 6:15pm, so this did panic me as I was afraid we would have to sleep in the car all night. Only airbnb I’ve gone to that doesn’t allow a lock box or anytime check in. That aside had a lovely time and the bacon and sausages were a real treat . Thank you

Lovely little shepherds hut. Bed looks small in the pictures but was very spacious and comfy! All amenities and equipment you could need. Perfectly situated for surrounding walks (Pen y fan about 20 minutes away in the car) lots of lovely waterfall walks (Henrhyd Falls was a lovely walk). Lovely place to escape it all.

We had a wonderful stay at Rita and David’s shepherds hut. The hut was very easy to find and in such a peaceful pretty little village. David came to greet us and give us some info for the heating and hot water which was really helpful and the welcome guide was also really useful. We had dinner at the Royal Oak which was delicious and they were so friendly in there! We also noted how quiet and peaceful it was as we walked back, so lovely to be away from the constant cars and general noise of a city. We would definitely return to Rita and David’s place, great value for money and a lovely find!

We had an amazing day! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Clear instructions on how to use everything inside the hut. The hot tub was huge the photos don't do it justice! The milk and prosecco in the fridge was a great touch ❤️

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

We had a lovely stay celebrating my birthday at Tulip. The Elan Valley walks were beautiful and the lamb & flag inn was a great place for some much needed food and Guinness, whilst watching the six nations! Becky presented the hut beautifully and was quick to reply with any questions we had. The hot tub was a great addition too! We would love to come again soon and would highly recommend! Beth was a brilliant host. My partner and I needed somewhere quiet to just unwind and this place was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub, drinking the views and the beauty of the area was just what we needed. The bird song just topped it of perfectly. Beth was great at communicating and has made her Shepherd's hut perfect, everything we needed was there.

We had a lovely stay at toad and snail, excellent location for exploring the surrounding hills. The carriage was clean, tidy and very cosy. Kitchen had all the bits you’d need for a weekend stay. Gas hob and hot shower was a real luxury! We made use of the log burner, and the place was lovely and warm in no time. The hot tub was simple to use, but did take longer to heat up than expected. Fab stay, can’t complain. Would recommend.

Perfect place for a peaceful stay in the Brecon Beacons. Catherine was very welcoming and attentive. The place is better than described and we will definitely be back

Perfect stay! So much more spacious than the pictures look too! The cabin was beautiful and tidy, the hot tub was lovely and hot on arrival. Would definitely stay here again 🙂

We cannot recommend this stay enough. The hut itself was cosy, warm and a lovely space. It had a little wood burner that kept us toasty and warm, a kitted out kitchen and a great bathroom too. There is great attention to detail with Sue providing some milk for us in the fridge. Sue herself is absolutely wonderful, so responsive and informative and we cannot express our gratitude enough of being saved from a muddy embankment we were stuck in further along the road. Overall, such a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautiful part of the country with a fantastic host.

Emma’s shepherds hut was more than we could of expected! Me and my partner stayed here for our anniversary and it was the most perfect place to be! Not only does this cozy hut provide you with everything you need it is also in perfect distance from the brecon national park as well as some lovely views and walks around the location. Emma was a great host with quick and helpful responses. We will definitely be staying again, thanks so much again !

We booked same day for a last minute one night trip to Oakies. Emma quickly responded and had everything ready for us. The hut was beautiful, just as the photos, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was fab and the swings are a sweet touch. The surroundings are stunning and lovely to see the animals nearby. It was a perfect location for us for some lovely walks nearby. We would definitely recommend! Thank you Emma

Gorgeous hut was bigger than it appeared in the add very luxury, clean and all mid cons. Catherine & Brian very friendly and a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. Will definitely being going back

We had a lovely 3 night stay here just wish it had been longer. Beautiful, peaceful location. Hut very clean, tidy and cosy and bed comfy. Enjoyed the bbq and fire pit. Our 2 working cocker spaniels loved the field to run around. Cathy was lovely and friendly. Nearby Hay-on-Wye a lovely quaint little town to visit and to walk along the river. We will be back.

Wow...just WOW! This place is a little slice of heaven. Amazing location. So peaceful. The hut had everything you needed. Super comfy and cozy. Sian and Jack are just the best hosts. They gave us everything we needed to make out stay ideal. Friendly, welcoming and informative re all the bits and bobs in the local area. Make sure you do the Bryn Arw and Sugar Loaf circular and stop at the Crown for a well earned pint or too.
