Really great location. Walking distance to local town. Clear instructions from Danny. Idea location for all the walks we had planned. Would definitely recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay . The property was perfectly located for Bishops Castle's shops pubs and walks from the door . We were very comfortable and the cottage was well equipped Chloe was responsive and helpful and gave us clear instructions for accessing the property. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Bishops Castle. Top notch !

If you want a pristine modern white villa with en suite bathrooms, this isn't for you. It is called the Artist's House for a reason: the multi-level spaces are lofty, with windows in unexpected places, just like being in an artist's studio. And best of all you are surrounded by art, everywhere you look. A great space to relax, socialise, share a bottle of wine.

I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

A wonderful home in a beautiful location - ideal for family gatherings as it has plenty of space and a games room ideal for all! Would highly recommend if looking in this area

We had a very enjoyable few days in the Saddlery Cottage. So cosy, warm and welcoming. The location is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the walks from the door with the dogs, together with having access to the grounds.

We had a fabulous stay at Nick’s place. The house is lovely with everything you need - most importantly the bed was soooo comfy!! Just what you need after some hard days walking. The house is in a great location- right by the river and only 5 mins walk to the centre of Brecon. We would definitely rebook. Thanks ☺️

Carl and I had an excellent five days here over Christmas. The Wi-Fi/TV were a bit temperamental following the storm, but Gyles was happy to come round and look at it for us. I particularly enjoyed exploring the woodland behind the cottage, our dog loved it too.

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

We enjoyed a very relaxing long weekend in this lovely cabin. Hot tub and pool were a bonus. Surroundings were beautiful and there were places to take the dogs. Site was well kept and people were helpful and friendly. We were also blessed with the weather. Thank you

Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and the surroundings beautiful. The lodge was nice, light and spacious. Only thing to be mindful of is that you do need to take your own bath towels and kitchen towels.

Lovely hidden family staycation! Lovely location with loads of parking Easy check-in 13 mins drive to Breacon! Brilliant hot tub with amazing views (Only comment would be Chlorine content was a tad high for anyone with sensitive skin) Kitchen and bathroom were clean and cosy! Kitchen is fully equipped with amenities (Sauce pots and trays were available but no frying pans which is no big deal) Lovely welsh biscuits on arrival! Definitely recommend for a lovely retreat!

I stayed two nights at calm acre cabin with my dog. We have been to lots of similar places for short weekend breaks, but I must say calm acre is my favourite! We walked for hours and miles around the surrounding areas. There were great views and lots of hills, streams, bridges, wild horses and hundreds of sheep!🤣 We bumped into two dog walkers over the whole 2 days so you really are very secluded and remote. After a day of exploring the wilderness we would arrive back to the cabin, take my muddy boots off and your dog can go for a quick swim in the private river access (to wash off any mud.🤣) then it was time to have a cup of tea and light the fire pit and sit in the cosy outdoor area until dark. I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time inside the cabin! The comfy mattress and hot water bottle was lovely.. everything is simple and easy. Chloe has thought of pretty much everything you may need and if not she is always nearby to help you out if you need anything. :)

Karl was waiting for me, when I arrived. Very friendly and informative. Always helpful and even loaned me a rucksack, for my walking, as I had left mine at home. The accommodation is only 10 mins from the Elan Valley reservoirs and the Dark Sky Park. Excellent location Both front and rear gardens have boundaries, so great for letting my dogs investigate securely. I plan to go again, after summer.

Another great stay at this wonderful place. We love the peace and quiet and charm of it and were snug and warm in spite of the colder snap. Favourite things this time around included discovering local pubs and watching lambs bounding around the place. Lovely to chat to Amber and Rob and learn a little bit more about the area. As always they were quick to respond and generous with their help. Thanks again to you both.

We loved every minute here, peaceful and tranquil. Loved the Alpacas and the hot tub was lovely after waking Snowdon. Wish we could have stayed longer ! Host was very responsive and friendly

Amazing...........!!!! We stayed in the Honey Bee earth home and I would highly recommend anyone looking to book, just do it. The place is immaculate, with great views and everything you need from the ninja airfyer to the dyson vacuum. No expense has been spared. The wood fired hot tub is Brilliant and the Alpacas are the icing on the cakes...

our third stay at wisteria cottage - as with every stay , always beautiful , clean , peaceful and very welcoming. lovely walks for a total relaxing stay.

We got home today after spending a fantastic weekend at Angie and Robs beautiful chalet for my mum in laws 80th birthday. The chalet was very well equipped and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean throughout. We were very lucky to be able to purchase some fresh eggs from their chickens and they were so delicious that we decided to ask if we could buy some more to take home with us. The sheep and lambs were right outside the chalet in a field and it was lovely watching the baby lambs feeding and playing. A wonderful place to relax and put your feet up or have a chill in the hot tub. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you both ❤️Love the Jones family x

What a great stay before our final destination. Beautiful surroundings and so close to many places, such as, Sugar Loaf… Also, it was a thoughtful welcome gift: Welsh cake and free range eggs ( delicious). Thank you Liz and Mark.
