If you want peace and tranquility, than head to Barnutopia. Evenings under the stars with an open fire. Spending quality time with family or friends. Has cosy Yurts and beautiful surroundings, animals, two outdoor kitchens. We made the kitchen shack ours! And four hot shower areas. Large communal kitchen and sitting areas. The host is the most polite and loving kind lady, set up our fire pit every evening. Gave information on things to to. We went to Wales, but it is over and 1,30 mins drive, we did not mind as we wanted to visit. You need a car to get around. We were treated to pancakes for breakfast by the host, when leaving. My girls weee very happy. In a nutshell if you want to get away from busy, hectic and stressful cities, go to Barnuptopia. The local people were so polite and helpful, they have the Heritage Railway in the small town Oswestry. Weee Yvan get all your food and supplies before heading to the accommodation. Bring your own BBQ and coals. Enjoy the peaceful nature.

We loved staying in the Mill Pond Caravan. The grounds are just stunning! Julie's instructions were very clear, so we found it and got in easily. The caravan is cosy and well equipped. fresh clean towels and bed linens and extra blankets if you get chilly. We had a bit of a wet week weather-wise, so it was great to be able to pop the heating on quickly in the morning to take the edge off. Otherwise, the caravan is warm and dry and cosy. Julie is definitely a super host, very friendly and welcoming. The kids absolutely loved the walk up into the orchard and then back down by the waterfall to follow the mill stream back. We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

Nina was the perfect host, answered all of our questions quickly and fully. really friendly and caring. the Bothy was warm, comfortable and squeaky clean. shower hot and roomy, kitchen well equipped. the bed was very comfortable, extra blankets available. the location is outstanding, picturesque countryside. this is a wonderful place and we would not hesitate to both recommend and return. 10 out of 10 across the board. Lovely and. Cosy, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely time . Running late on arrival and host going out at 6:15pm, so this did panic me as I was afraid we would have to sleep in the car all night. Only airbnb I’ve gone to that doesn’t allow a lock box or anytime check in. That aside had a lovely time and the bacon and sausages were a real treat . Thank you

We had a lovely stay with Pamela, the accommodation was perfect for us, the hot tub was warm and relaxing, and it was fantastic to hear the nature around us in the evening and see the stars at night!

We stayed here the night of our wedding, the host left some rose petals shaped in a heart with some love heart sweets, which was so lovely of them. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, the views & location was so peaceful and relaxing and the inside was perfect. Thankyou so much would 1000% stay again

Just what me and my partner needed for a break away! It was so cozy in the carriage we stayed in and we loved going on our walks to come back to a beautiful hot tub ! The view was amazing with the hills and it was so peaceful! We would definitely come back! An amazing stay

We had a fantastic stay! It was clean, cozy, and very well-equipped, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Lowri was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all our queries promptly and ensuring we had everything we needed. Our dog also had a wonderful time, and the location was great for walks and exploring. Highly recommend this lovely place.

We had an amazing stay at manons pod, unbelievable location and close enough to Bala to get things you may need. Log burning fire was so nice to get warm and cosy. Also has the cutest collies on the farm which it is next to which was the nicest surprise !!! Ten out of ten would recommend

We had an amazing day! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Clear instructions on how to use everything inside the hut. The hot tub was huge the photos don't do it justice! The milk and prosecco in the fridge was a great touch ❤️

honestly what a stay. from the minute we arrived until we left Sean (David, haha) has been so attentive and accommodating and just lovely the whole time. daily messages and ideas for places to go. so friendly and welcoming, not a fan of camping myself but this has definitely changed my mind. I know this sounds weird but I loved the shower then outdoor experience was phenomenal. 100% recommend also take hiking boots and flip flops despite the rain and flooding it was beautiful.

Beth was a brilliant host. My partner and I needed somewhere quiet to just unwind and this place was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub, drinking the views and the beauty of the area was just what we needed. The bird song just topped it of perfectly. Beth was great at communicating and has made her Shepherd's hut perfect, everything we needed was there.

A beautiful space, a magical fairy home in the woods- every part of our stay surpassed what we had even imagined. Even more exciting to arrive after dark, walking along the little path towards the warm glowing lights and smell of the fire! It really felt like a work of art, come to life. Thank you both for creating such a lovely space.

The Shepherds hut was a great place to stay for a long weekend. It was situated very close to all the beautiful walks in the Brecon beacons. Liz was a great host, she was extremely responsive and welcoming - she also gave a tour oh the hut and all the amenities when I arrived which was a nice welcome. The views from the hut were always stunning as it's situated overseeing the mountains. The hut is also very secluded and it felt very private which was a nice break from living in the city.

Absolutely amazing stay! The hut in Longtown was everything we hoped for and more. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made for the perfect getaway. The outdoor shower looked fantastic—such a unique touch, even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. The entire experience was refreshing, quiet, and truly relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. Would love to visit again

A lovely home away from home. A cute, cosy cabin with lots of thoughtful touches. The donkeys and the fire pit were particular highlights.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Rhodri and Bethans garden house. It was comfortable, well equiped and in an excellent location. It is only a short stroll into Abergavenny town centre or onto the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal. It has a lovely outside seating area but being early March at the time of our visit did not get to use this, maybe next time.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Julie’s cabin. Julie was very responsive with communication and we had a lovely greeting from Mark as he showed us to the cabin. The space itself was beautiful and so peaceful we had a really relaxed evening and a great nights rest after a day of hiking in the beacons. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook and stay again in the future so thank you Julie and Mark for your hospitality

Clean, peaceful and in an excellent location, had everything we needed and we felt very comfortable. I Would definitely stay again, very friendly and responsive hosts, smooth check in and easily accessible with parking right outside your pod 👌🏻

Could not recommend staying here enough! Not only are the facilities lovely (hot tub, comfy bedd, warm room, clean personal shower etc). But also Katie went above and beyond when we broke down during out stay! She came to pick us up in the evening, helped us sort breakdowns repair AND had the hot tub warm for when we eventually did get back too our cabin! If you're looking for a weekend away to walk, relax, soak in the hot, Sunday roast in the local pub..book here!
