Well appointed rustic property at the heart of Hay on Wye. It was a chilly few days so we made good use of the log burner in the lounge. Comfortable mattresses (my no 1 priority). Communication with the host was faultless and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely visit again.

We stayed here while away on a work trip. We booked the Cottage for 3 weeks. Paul was helpful and quick to reply. It was clean and tidy, they gave us fresh linen for the new week ahead. Highly recommend. There are a few great pubs walking distance, easy location.

A really nice big property with lots of character. Dolgellau is a great location with lots to do. Hope House sits right in the centre of the town giving great access to all the different pubs, restaurants, cafes & shops. Plenty of walking out the door, up into the hills and woods. Cycling is great, with bigger walking challenges not far away at all. A perfect house to come back to after a good day out.

We stayed with a group of 6 at Arran Villas over New Years and had a wonderful time. The home has undeniable charm, is cosy and comfortable and each room has plenty of space. We had some wonderful evenings cooking together after a day of sightseeing in Northern Wales. The parking permit was very useful in that regard too as we had a big car for the group. Dolegellau is a nice little town, with basic shops available if anything is needed. Overall we consider Arran Villas a great find for anyone - couples, friends, family - looking for a peaceful escape somewhere a bit more remote.

Perfect place for myself and friend’s annual catch up / get away. Dee was a great host right from the beginning - From recommending shortcuts / local info to leaving out a basket of snacks / fruit, milk to welcome us on our arrival. The apartment was clean, cosy and comfortable and was well equipped with a lovely touch of home. Dee’s home is beautiful and having the top floor to ourselves felt private; both she and her partner made sure we had privacy and space. Loved the peaceful location (and view from the living room) easy to walk to everything including our walks out exploring the landscape. Highly recommend Dee’s place. Hope to be back again.

Gail was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Ty Beti was perfect for our mountain biking trip to Dyfi Bike Park. The gas range was particularly useful when cooking breakfast for 9.

Great spacious place at a great location for the Brecons. Everything you could possibly need in the house is there - perfectly kitted house with all modern comforts. Katrina was the perfect host. Immediately responsive and helpful.

Beautiful stay at this house. Rooms huge and spacious. Everything we needed there. Parking space which is rare for the property and central right in the middle of town which was great. Loved our stay and would definitely go back 😍😍

I really enjoyed my short stay. The host Mrs Louisa Cookson is a lovely warm friendly lady. The house was beautiful and immaculate. And I had 2 fantastic nights sleep as the bed was so comfortable. A pure delight all round

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It was exactly as described and very comfortable for us a family of 3 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. Having grown up in the area we were back visiting friends and it proved to be a great base. Would book again in a heartbeat!

A very enjoyable stay at this fabulous terrace house, just a short walk from the centre of Abergavenny. Jane is a great host – a strong communicator and very friendly. We really enjoy the comfort and stylish decor. It is very well equipped. Everything just works. We were absolutely fine with the parking, though it’s worth knowing that some pretty tight parallel parking may be required … or just park a little further away. I would highly recommend this place – our second visit – we might well come and stay again!

Kington is a very small & quite town. We stayed here just like at home. We had breakfast in a cosy garden & slept well also. Bradnor Hill walking path was wonderful. We played golf in the England's highest golf course in Kington. It was very beautiful & natural course. We want to come back again.

I ended up staying an extra night. It was also late when I did arrive (just after 23.00) but it was no issue whatsoever by either of my hosts (I made sure to discuss with them what was happening). They were very accommodating and hence I was happy to add an extra night to my stay
