Praia da Arrifana, Aljezur : locations de vacances en bord de mer

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Er is volop ruimte voor een groot gezelschap. Alles was schoon en zag er netjes uit. Op loopafstand allerlei voorzienigen zoals een supermarkt, restaurants, strand, fietsverhuur, wandelroute. Het huis ligt in een rustige buurt en heeft een heerlijk zwembad en verschillende terrassen. Een aanrader!

Great place to stay as a base for walking the coastal trails of the western Algarve. Easy to find, and Scott gave us a warm welcome and explained how everything worked. Bedroom and living area were a good size for the 2 of us. Well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare and cook simple meals (even has good knives, which are rare in rentals), plus 2 types of coffee maker - hurrah! The bed is comfortable and the shower excellent! Terraces off the kitchen and on the roof looked lovely, but, sadly, we didn’t have enough good weather to enjoy them fully. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr Empfehlenswert. Es war alles da und genügende Platz in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung war warm und bei Sonne musste man die Fenster öffnen und die Klimaanlage ( Heizung ) ausschalten. Jederzeit gerne wieder😎

We had the most incredible stay at this wonderful place, and I can’t recommend it enough! The hospitality was truly exceptional — Filipa and Luís are the best hosts we’ve ever met. Their warm energy created an atmosphere of true comfort and care. The property is a haven of tranquility and privacy, offering the perfect escape from everyday life. The views from the cabin and dining area were absolutely stunning — lush gardens with oranges and physalis, and the peaceful shores of the lake. The hike from Santa Clara-a-Velha, with breathtaking views of the dam, was an unforgettable experience. The cabin itself was beautifully designed — stylish and cozy, with comfy beds and a spacious, beautifully decorated bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Most importantly, the warmth and hospitality of the entire family really made this experience special. We can’t wait to return! Than you! <3

Fabulous house in a great location around 5 minutes walk from the beach. Remarkably peaceful & quiet location with private parking immediately adjacent the house & a sunny private south facing terrace/garden with a sea view. Good selection of restaurants & bars within walkable distance & only a few minutes drive to the centre of the city of Lagos. The house has everything you could possibly want for an extended stay & we can highly recommend. Thank you Ursula.

Mooi en ruim appartement met een mooi uitzicht over de duinen en zee bij Ferragudo. Appartement ligt in een buitenwijk van Ferragudo en op een heuvel, Vila Gaivota Fase 2. Op loopafstand van een mooi standje, Praia dos Caneiros. Om naar Ferragudo te lopen met je een half uurtje wandelen door een glooiend duinlandschap en via rotsige duinpaden. Appartement heeft een mooie en moderne strand/zee-aankleding en is ruim van opzet en van alles voorzien. Alles voor een mooi verblijf. Om boodschappen te doen kun je terecht in Ferragudo zelf, bij de lokale ondernemers, of je rijdt richting de Lidl en Continente verderop richting Portimao.

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. Ik heb een geweldig verblijf gehad hier. Heel mooi appartement waar je je meteen thuis voelt. Heerlijk om op het dakterras te ontbijten en van het mooie uitzicht te genieten. Lekker bed en fijne douche. 5-10 minuten lopen en je bent al in het centrum. Zelf zou ik wel liever een filter koffiezetapparaat gebruiken dan een apparaat waar cupjes in moeten, maar dat is persoonlijk. Echt een aanrader!

Wir bedanken uns von ganzem Herzen für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Wir Erwachsenen und Kinder haben uns alle mehr als wohl gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war schnell, freundlich und auf den Punkt gebracht. Die Strandnähe ist unschlagbar, die Lage zentral aber trotzdem ruhig. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, praktisch und toll ausgestattet. Auf Anfrage wurde uns sogar noch ein Sonderwunsch für die Ausstattung gebracht. Wir hätten uns nichts besseres vorstellen können! We have stayed here previously and know the location well, which is peaceful with wonderful views. In easy reach of nearby villages & towns and 2 lovely beaches which are within walking distance. The villa is well presented and really well equipped. There is lots of space to relax and enjoy the pool. We didn’t have the pool heated but is was warm enough especially if the pool cover is used (loved that this was an electric one!)

My family and I enjoyed 6 nights at Liz and Gianny's townhome in Carvoeiro. The accomodations were exactly as described and it was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The home is a close distance to excellent restaurants, beautiful beaches and local walks/hikes. We were very pleased to have met the hosts in-person at the start of our stay and they were very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this accomodation and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for your hospitality!

Lovely stay close to the old part of Ferragudo, which has excellent restaurants. Close to a very nice beach with a castle overlooking. Very scenic. It made for some beautiful walks. The place waas spotless and. the beds very comortable. I would recommend this for a small family or couple.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

We have just returned after an amazing week. A family holiday with small kids and grandparents. The house is perfect, the location is 20 steps to the most perfect beach, the house is comfortable and we wanted for nothing. Pool was such a treat. Ice cream kiosk right outside back door !! (Kids loved) .. town is lovely for a relaxed family holiday.. memories made for life. Owners so helpful , communication perfect and so helpful highly recommend we will definitely be back . A hidden oasis with amazing views from every window .. only problem is we didn’t want to leave

Our stay in this apartment was pleasant☺️We stayed here for 2 months, worked remotely (internet is good). Great location, very close to the beach. Apartment is spacious, has comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The host is helpful. Simple self check-in. Apartment is not the newest - especially the bathroom needs renovation. It would be perfect if there was a dishwasher and a second place to work. Unfortunately there is no longer ocean view because of two construction sites opposite.

Die Lage ist für Ruhesuchende ein Traum. Der Sonnenaufgang gegen 7:30 war ein perfekter Start in den Tag und dann wärmte die Sonne beim Frühstück. Am Abend haben wir den Ofen jeden Tag benutzt, dadurch war es gemütlich warm (Holz vorhanden - Danke dafür!) . Fürs Bad morgens gab es einen kleinen elektrischen Heizkörper, denn die Nachttemperaturen schwankten von 6 Grad bis 12 Grad - dadurch war es morgens recht frisch. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen, auch immer etwas geplaudert mit Andy und Astrid, die sich um das Gelände/Haus sehr liebevoll kümmern.

Sam is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was spotless and in a beautiful, quiet location only a short walk to the local beach or into the old town where there are some great restaurants. This is the third time we have visited Ferragudo and will definitely be back again next year 😍

The view!!! It is just perfect, exactly as described, has everything you need to enjoy a nice and peaceful stay! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance (including the neighboring building!), and the beach. Whether you go for the surf or just to enjoy the sand and water, there are very few options that will get you closer to the beach! We would definitely stay there again!

Kingdomar’s place was perfect. Our family of 4 stayed stayed with another family of 3 and we had plenty of space. The location couldn’t be better, right next to the beach and restaurants. The house was very clean and stocked with all the essentials. We would highly recommended the place.

The house is very nicely furnished, the stone floor is very nice. The kitchen well equipped. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but the bedrooms were very nice and above all the view from everywhere to the ocean is just nice. The central heating was wonderful, since we have been here in the beginning of January, it was necessary and well functioning.

Pedro is an amazing host and is highly recommended as he is very responsive whenever you message him! He helped save our trip by letting us check in after 3am. Local recommendations are provided at the house, it has a very spacious common area, quiet and safe neighbourhood and amazing pool! Only downside is the women of our group think he is too attractive. 😂

We were 3 couples and the house as well as the location were perfect for us. We loved walking along the promenade at the Praia da Luz and swimming at the guarded beach. We always had a view of the sea - either from a restaurant on the promenade or from the house. Also many thanks to both the host Susan and to Libby from the house keeping company who made our stay simply wonderful.

Bei all den vielen positiven Bewertungen hier kann ich mich nur anschließen und noch einmal betonen, wie toll diese Unterkunft ist! - Der Ausblick auf das Castle und die Hafeneinfahrt mit dem Fluß Arade von Balkon und Terrasse ist einfach umwerfend schön (schöner kann man eigentlich kaum sitzen!). Die Einrichtung der Villa ist authentisch und nicht hypermodern. Wir fanden sie insgesamt sehr stimmig, auch mit der Deko. Das Schlafzimmer mit Terrasse und dem Duschbad ist sehr geräumig und der Ausblick auch hier super schön. Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist etwas dunkel, da das große Fenster darin "nur" auf die kleine Terrasse vor dem Haus geht und hier nicht wirklich viel Licht reinfällt. Aber da wir uns außer zum Schlafen nicht lange in diesem Zimmer aufgehalten haben, hat uns das nicht gestört. Einziges Manko, dass in den Schränken eher wenig Platz ist, weil viele Decken etc. darin liegen. Das Haus an sich ist geräumig, der Wohn-/Essbereich groß und gemütlich. Für uns eine tolle Unterkunft!!
