What can I say this villa is so beautiful has everything you could wish for. Would definitely go back and Lisa was a great host and very attentive. The beach, shops and restaurants are all in walking distance with beautiful views!! Thanks for having us.

We had an amazing 10 nights in the villa. The outside area was great for dining, sunbathing or just relaxing reading a book. Then the shaded area was great if you needed to get out of the sun. The swimming pool was really clean and well maintained throughout the holiday. As it was August it was lovely and warm. All bedrooms were a great size and it was lovely that each room had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and with Lidl only a 10 min walk away it was great for food shopping. Tirimisu Bar was great for food and drink and very reasonable. We also ate at a lovely Italian restaurant at the golf village which was only a few minutes drive away. Ubers were very easy to get. We had a late flight back so thankfully we were able to leave our cases in the villa until it was time to great. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great villa.

Absolutely a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting. There is a large supermarket nearby and the old town Albuferia and beaches are only a 8 to10 minute drive away. The villa has all the amenities you need and is well maintained. The grounds and pool area are large with plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. Large patio table and chairs. Large brick charcoal bbq setup. Nice loungers and umbrellas for shade at the pool which was great and came in very handy. Very spacious bedrooms with massive wardrobes each with their own large en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with a great supply of everything we needed. The laundry room has a washing machine, and each bedroom has air conditioning. We felt very safe at the property as there were locks and shutters for the doors and a locked gate to exit and enter. Villa MATILDE ist wunderschön. Auf einer ruhigen Straße gelegen und im inneren total sauber. Alles sehr modern und genau wie beschrieben. Auch der Außenberich mit Pool und makellos sauber. Ein Supermarkt ist weniger als 10 Gehminuten entfernt und das Restaurant O Pirata (zwei Häuser weiter) sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in eurem Haus. 😊🌸

We really loved the Villa and appreciated how responsive Anthony was with things. He also reached out ahead of time to coordinate, which was helpful! The area is beautiful and there’s lots to do. There was a big kitchen, lots of amenities, a nice pool, and lots of rooms to accommodate everyone that was with us. Loved that there were two refrigerators for our groceries I do want to note that the full sized beds were comfortable but the twin sized beds were incredibly hard (and there are several). Some guests opted for a couch instead to make their sleep more comfortable. We made it work, but if you are a sensitive sleeper used to a less firm mattress, I’d consider that when booking this place. Otherwise, this place was good for what we needed for our trip. And Anthony was an excellent host! Would recommend!

We hebben weer een perfect winterverblijf in de Algarve. Ondanks dat we er vele jaren komen, heeft Wilson ons toch verrast met nuttige tips voor uitstapjes en restaurants. Daarnaast blinkt Wilson uit, doordat hij echter interesse, gastvrijheid en bezorgdheid heeft voor zijn gasten. dat is slechts weinigen gegeven. Kortom, een top host die je iedereen zou gunnen.

Rebted for a week to celebrate my 50th Birthday. 18 people from 1 to 50 years of age. Private location nut not too far from Portimao (20min max) Alvor (15 min) and then Zoomarine (30 min) The Villa was amazing and I couldnt fault it. The photos really dont do it justice. Plenty of room for us all to spread out and a lot of thought into keeping you entertained. We paid to heat the pool as it was April. We got our monies worth as we were in it every day. Kitchen is huge with plenty of storage and ample space in Fridge Freezer. We cooked for everyone with no issues. The terrace was amazing in the evening and we made use of the Tennis court and table tennis. Communication was very clear and caroline and Torsten were perfect hosts Will 100% be back!

The house and grounds were lovely overall, very large space to spread out and enjoy! Things to know: Living room smells of wood smoke from fireplace (some people would like though we didn't). We didn't realize there were not space heaters or inverter heat in living room, as we aren't ones to burn wood, so the cold days were too chilly there. But the warm days were beautiful! All bedrooms had heat/ac mini split units. Kept things warm/cool as needed in bedroom, though it was very loud. A bit of mold smell in kitchen by sink and one bedroom (it's hard to fight mold in Portugal!), was clean elsewhere. The washer was unexpectedly broken at arrival but being repaired and he did give us directions for the local laundromat. Online guide had some basics, there wasn't a physical book with a list of emergency numbers or tips anything helpful if internet went out, would recommend adding that. Had special dual voltage shaver outlet for men, but no hair dryer for ladies.

What a villa!! We stayed here the week build up to our wedding and it was just perfect in every way. The location, the space, the villa itself was so modern and clean, the pool and outdoor area was amazing. It was even more gorgeous in person! Daniel the owner and the team couldn’t have done enough for us. I couldn’t recommend it anymore! Thank you for making our stay extra special. We will be back xx

Hôte exceptionnelle, séjour exceptionnel. Superbe villa, très agréable pour 11 personnes, endroit calme et privilégié. Tout le confort et l’équipement qu’il faut, très propre. Très bonne communication avec Estelle. Seul bémol, la chambre avec les lits superposés est vraiment prévue pour des enfants car elle est très petit comparé aux autres chambres (point positif pour la salle de bain dans cette chambre). Piscine incroyable et très bien entretenue. Les endroits détentes en extérieur sont très nombreux. Il y a également beaucoup de places de parking (environ 6 voitures). Le quartier est très calme, très sécurisé. Accès à la plage à 5 minutes à pied. On s’y sent comme chez sois. PS : La master room est incroyable. À bientôt et merci !

Deze villa is een stuk beter dan de foto’s zeggen. Het is ruim opgezet en er is altijd een zitje beschikbaar in de schaduw. Zat handdoeken aanwezig dus die hoef je niet mee te nemen. Genoeg koelkastruimte(zelf een extra koelkast in de garage en nog een extra diepvrieskast). De bedden zijn wel aardig hard dus dat was even wennen. Verder is de ligging heel centraal. Wij hebben alles met de uber gedaan en die waren er met 5 minuten en kost €7-€10 voor een ritje naar strand Ferragudo. Binnen is er een zeer groot tv scherm aanwezig met satelliet tv. Ook een chromecast aanwezig dus je kan Netflix streamen. Heel handig als je de kindjes even achter de tv wilt zetten. Al met al een super verblijf!!

we all really enjoyed our stay at villa - the facilities were great and the cleaner coming in everyday was a bonus for a large group. it was January when we stayed so we couldn't make use of the pool but the hot tub was good. we did. need a car or taxi to get to the old town and restaurants. I suspect more would be open near the villa in season . the owners and manager were very responsive and helpful during our stay .

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Küche ist mehr als voll ausgestattet. In der Inneneinrichtung steckt viel Liebe drin. Ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Das Haus und der Service ist uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen. Danke für die schöne Zeit. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Villa was incredibly comfortable for our group of friends. Very central to Lagos and local beaches. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Lots of space to sit and enjoy, inside and out. Rosa was always quick to respond to emails with questions or concerns. She also recommended Elena as a chef to cook a gourmet Portuguese meal at the villa. Beautiful meal! Beautiful space! Thank you

Lovely place. I didn’t realise it was split into two separate flats but that meant extra facilities as there are 2 kitchens and more privacy. Lots of space for 10 of us, lovely to have en suites or bathrooms for every bedroom. The pool is really fantastic and the outdoor kitchen area was great for bbqs and pizza. Hot tub is great. Jane the concierge was really helpful when 2 of the guests’ suitcases were lost in transit, she helped by calling the luggage company and to rearrange delivery. Really easy stroll to town with lots of restaurants and a few shops. Wonderful holiday, thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Alva and found David to be a really helpful, honest, thoughtful host. The villa has a v peaceful location with beautiful sea views, especially from the living area (on the first floor) and its large wraparound balcony. The pool is a very good size, with a proper deep end, so great for families with bigger kids - and heated! We asked David if he would heat it for us earlier in the season than usual (we stayed in early April) and he kindly agreed, which made a huge difference to our stay - thanks, David! The outside kitchen with charcoal BBQ, sink and fridge overlooking the pool is really great. Be aware it's an approx 25 minute walk into town/the beach (15 mins to Baptista/Spar supermarkets) - all downhill in, all uphill going back! We didn't hire a car, and found this walkable (you can also walk to Espiche) tho Bolt taxis and local buses are also easily available. We didn't have small kids with us tho - ours are tweenagers. All in all - recommended!

Absolutely amazing stay, Viktoria was so helpful, the actual villa is gorgeous, and so close to the old town! Couldn’t recommend it more

We were a group of 6 with 4 adults and kids age of 4 and 10 and stayed for 10 nights. We came in late and were able to self check in. The host had arranged us some small snacks, drinks and some breakfast which was great. Everything in the trip went well and we had no real issues in the villa. The kids loved the pool which was a good place to relax and cool during hotter hours. The place is located on a quite high hill which offers a nice view to the sea and the vity but makes walking down (and especially back up) to marina or old town a bit more difficult for the older people. But occasionally we used an app for rides which take 5mins to arrive and cost only average of 5euros. The location is quiet and peaceful! Using the showers at the same time at least in the 2nd floor had some issues with warm water and pressure but it wasn't a big deal. All in all can recommend.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Claire was simply a superb host. The house was absolutely clean, the communication was perfect, even her recommendations based on our interests were exactly on point. Whenever there was a question Claire answered almost instantly. I can only recommend this beautiful house to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the center, but it is only a 5 minute drive. One minor thing for the interested, there is no coffee machine, but the supermarket a few metres away does have a coffee machine with actually fine tasting coffee. Thank you very much Claire, hope to see you again someday!

Thanks for the excellent stay! The house was spacious and comfortable. The pool was perfect in size for our 3x kids. There were plenty of amenities on site, beach was close (not quite walking distance in the heat), and parking / driving was super easy. There is a supermarket (Pingo Doce) within 5 mins drive. Thoroughly recommend it!

The villa was incredibly well presented and had plenty of utensils for cooking if you wanted to! The pool table was a bit with our kids. Paulo was very responsive when I had any questions. Overall a wonderful stay and plenty of space for us all.

A fabulous villa, new and stylishly fitted out. Lots of space throughout. We loved the pool and gardens. There are even orange trees on the plot, and a roof terrace to watch the sunset on. The location was really convenient for access to Lagoa and Portimao, and all the main towns of the algarve. The team were really responsive and helpful with all our questions and requests. It made our last minute booking really easy and unstressful. We hope to return again!
