This is our second time staying here, works out perfect for us to stay while visiting family, and its pet friendly so we can bring our dog, its right on the river, great views and we can walk practically everywhere. Has become our go-to when visiting.

Thomas was a great host and the apartment was so nice. Fun artwork on the walls with lots of helpful resources. It’s in an old church and the architecture shows it. Super high ceilings and lots of space in the sleeping room. Thomas was extremely responsive.

Another great stay. This location is always a go to when we are home visiting family. Lovely quiet location perfect for our family.

We have found our home away from home while daughter attends college in Dubuque. Everything was great. We will definitely be returning.

Great place to stay. Right downtown and walking distance to everything. It is upstairs that could be tricky for some people but not a problem! Will stay here again.

Jennifer's place is so welcoming, comfortable and clean for the two of us and our dog, Loui. We love staying here, it's so easy to find lovely parks and trails in the area, plus TJ's Pizza is a must do in Clermont. Jennifer is excellent at communications and shares special events happening - she's a fantastic host!

Still smiling, thinking about what a nice stay we had at Michelle's downtown apartment in Elkader. The place is lovely - even prettier and more inviting than the photos indicate. We enjoyed spending a lot of our time just reading and relaxing, and watching the snow fall on the main downtown street. The space is spacious, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The second floor apartment is above an insurance office, so it was wonderfully quiet, daytime and at night. The rental is right on the main street of Elkader's cute downtown, and only a one-block walk to good coffee, fresh waffles, pastries, and about a dozen neat boutiques and antique shops. We've tucked this listing away as a place we'd like to come back to again.

Cindy's place was amazing! The location was right on the river with a beautiful view from the patio. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and historic! We enjoyed the river walk and heard live music at the brewery within walking distance! We would stay again and will recommend to our family and friends! Tricia

Another wonderful stay! Deb and Andrew were so great! Perfect location for us and they are just so nice! They always make sure we feel at home and have everything we need Trout fishing and hiking nearby. Great time as always!

The Sparrows Nest was such a calming and cozy place with such unique and detail oriented decor which made it feel like a home. The apartment was right near such a friendly restaurant in downtown Monona. We explored nearby towns in Postville, McGregor and Prairie du Chien which made the trip an adventure too. Tanya was such a gracious and thoughtful host who left homemade delicious chocolate bars as a welcoming gift. The Sparrows Nest is the place to stay in Monona!

Great stay!! We ended up need to extend our stay. The host was easy to work with and understanding.

Everything was as expected at Teresa’s place. We enjoyed our stay and the comfort of a home. The place was very roomy and cozy. It was a rainy evening when we stayed, but it was OK as the living room was cozy and warm. Check out is extremely easy. I would rent from Teresa again if I was ever in the area.

Great space! Very clean with a lot of charm. We really loved the place, and it's proximity to downtown was perfect.

This was our second time at the den and just like last time, it was amazing. The location was so close to family in a nearby town and the fact that they are dog friendly is such a plus for us! The place was absolutely spotless and having a washer and dryer was helpful too! The farm is peaceful and getting to see the animals right outside the doorstep was such a cool experience. The owners of this home are so kind and take such good care of the property. Thank you again for having us!

Met a friend in Decorah for the night and Nika’s place was the perfect place to stay. Close to great restaurants, shops and bars…space to sleep and watch Netflix. Would definitely stay again.

Kaleen’s place is a perfect spot in Decorah. Short walk to downtown and a lovely home to return to. Bonus fire pit and back patio! We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

I've stayed at all 3 of Bob and Theresa's units in this house in the past few years (red door, green door, and blue door) and all have consistently exceeded my expectations for a comfortable stay when visiting for a little getaway in Viroqua. Friendly and responsive hosts, providing easy access and well-provisioned, tastefully decorated, clean, accommodations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, always a bit disappointed when I've come to stay up there when their listings aren't available -- can certainly understand why they're in high demand. Will be back to stay with them again down the road, for sure.
