The cabin was very quiet & it was comfortable. Felt like home. Diane was very helpful with giving great directions & communicated with me regularly. I would definitely stay there again. Alot of deer & turkeys around. It was awesome

This was our second time staying at the Deer Cabin. The place is spotless and incredibly comfortable. Christine is kind and communicative. She responded quickly to my messages. I can't wait until our next stay.

Magical Cabin in the woods! I was looking to get away from the city and have some peace and quiet with my partner and my dog. This was definitely a wonderful retreat and respite. The property is in the forest with nearby trails. We loved the wildlife. We got some deer come to graze right at the cabin. Also, there is a javalina family that live in the neighborhood. They'll come around looking for food but are otherwise harmless. Just make sure to keep the straps on the garbage bins as they will make a mess. It was great to sit out on the deck in the mornings and stare at the stars at night. the cabin itself is very spacious. and comfortable. We had a relaxing and wonderful time and hope to return.

We really enjoyed staying at this location. Property was perfect for our 3 person family with full kitchen and access to everything we needed for cooking, etc. Location is 3 blocks from Prescott City Center which is full of shops, restaurant's and things to do. Location was also ideal for exploring out and around both Prescott and Prescott Valley. We'd stay with Susan and Randy anytime. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views that will take your breath away! Very secluded. Loved that is was fenced in for my two dogs to enjoy the yard. The sun room is an extra touch, was nice to have meals in there! We definitely will be back!

The house & area were beautiful. Kitchen was stocked well. Coffee bar was awesome. House was well furnished. Lots of pillows and blankets. Deck/patio seating was beautiful and the house is surrounded by trees. Doesn’t feel like you are in the middle of the neighborhood. We saw lots of wild life walking right through the yard. A few deers, a javelins, and a bunch of turkeys! The kids enjoyed seeing all of them. We had 8 adults and 10 kids. We all slept comfortably. Kitchen was a bit small for that many people but it worked well for the weekend!

Our stay at the Shalimar House was a truly luxurious one. The decor and immaculate tidiness made us feel like we were in one of those home renovation TV shows, but this was even better! Our hosts really thought of every detail. We had ample bathroom essentials, dish-washing and laundry pods (such a convenience), a basket of goodies, all the kitchen supplies we could need, and even q-tips, makeup-removal wipes, and other necessities for us girls. :O We really appreciated the thoughtfulness! We would absolutely recommend Shalimar House to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and would definitely book again in the future! Thank you, Karyn and Mark!

Patricia's place was a nice and cozy little studio in the hills of Prescott, AZ. Beautiful property with a gorgeous view of the area. There were enough amenities to fit my needs and the heater worked great! Patricia also helped me retrieve my belongings by shipping them to the town that I live in, for I had left my suitcase in her driveway on the way out and didn't realize until I returned home. Truly awesome of her! Also, I was a but confused on how to unlock the entry door, but her husband hekped me get inside (forgot his name). Excellent hosts! I would recommend to anyone coming in this area. Very affordable and perfect for couples or singles!
