Great place, excellent location. The house has a ton of options for hanging out (fire pit, living room, etc) and a great kitchen.

Clean space with everything we needed. Area was peaceful and safe. House was as described and had the “Marfa” feel. I would recommend to others for a west texas place to stay

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and first time with a child (6 y/o) who enjoyed the outdoor space and cowboy pool. Great location within walking distance of downtown and all that Marfa has to offer. The host was inviting and communicative and we would definitely stay here again.

Only stayed for a night but was a very relaxing and comfortable welcome after camping for a few nights!

Diane's home is beautiful, private, and so peaceful, yet so close to the centre of Marfa. It is one of the few houses with unobstructed views of the sunset over the desert every evening...seeing it is quite magical. Inside is wonderful too...airy, comfortable, and lovely interior design. A great place from which to explore during the day, and then unwind in the evening. Thanks again Diane for having us, it was a real treat! :)

We rented the entire property and every square inch is well thought out and beautifully designed. Each apartment feels separate, but there was plenty of space to gather in the larger unit with the pool. The location is central and walkable to all areas of Marfa. A starchitect designed this and it shows.

We didn’t use the house much other than to sleep and shower as we were attending a family reunion in Candelaria. It’s very peaceful and quiet and we were very comfortable in the house. Nothing beats the views out in this part of Texas but very few people know about it and at night you can see all the stars!

This place is an incredible place to stay in Marfa. Close enough to town to ride your bike in (10 min bike ride to downtown) but far enough out that the stars were on full display- something you just can’t get when you’re in town. The house is exactly as described- spacious, comfortable, stylish, clean and plenty of space. We will definitely return!

Gorgeous house, beautiful decor, incredibly comfortable beds and linens, fully equipped kitchen, claw-foot tub/shower with nice shampoos etc., and a lovely private back yard. There was also beautiful art, fantastic books and lots of interesting games. And a washer-dryer! The place is walkable to town and all the places we wanted to go/see—really one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever been to. Thanks for a great experience!

Carolina was a great host for my family staying in Marfa for a wedding. We loved the space in the house!

We stayed in entire lodge with another family. Everyone loved ii! Plenty of space, very clean, and the outdoor areas were great. The kids loved playing pickleball and the location can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Gary's place. Perfect for our extended family to use while we visited the McDonald Observatory, Chihuahua Desert Nature Center, the Museum of the Big Bend, Fort Davis, Alpine and Marfa. At the end of each day is was relaxing to make dinner in the kitchen. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Many visits by deer and a variety of birds.

Can’t say enough great things about nicks place. Very comfortable and spacious decorated with cool art and an excellent back yard. The only thing I would have to say is there was no TV which is not necessary but I do prefer for news and weather. Nicks kitchen had all the gadgets and was perfect for cooking!

My wife, 4 kids, and I absolutely loved our stay here! Marfa isn't all that big, so everything is drivable within a few minutes, or walkable in probably < 10. The house has great, vibey furniture, is well-decorated, and makes you feel right at home in Marfa.

5 stars, would return. Pros: -House as advertised in pictures. -Host communicative and helpful. -Nicer amenities that suit higher price point of home. From the quality of towels to the kitchen, higher end and generous offerings. High end pots and pans -Beautiful surroundings perfect for a family retreat. -Needed to amend stay from four nights to three. Home advertised free cancellation, Lauren was easy about partial refund. Suggestions: -Instruction for bags of garbage. -No shades on any windows seemed purposeful for design of home, but some option of privacy for bedrooms and mitigation for sunlight in the morning would be appreciated. -A single bed was advertised in one of the bedrooms, it was not in working order.

This is a really lovely and well-maintained historic home in a residential neighborhood a block’s walk from downtown Marfa. Really great space for a family, with two bedrooms each with its own bath, a spacious living room and dining room, and a great, well-furnished kitchen—along with a back courtyard with fire pit and grill we both used on a cool night. Highly recommended and a great value—a rare vacation rental with a sense of soul.

Well furnished, comfortable casita in an excellent location in Marfa. Very walkable, easy parking and well priced. Good instructions on getting in and great suggestions on the dining table in the binder (though unfortunately a few of those places have closed). Nice table to sit out front and play cards. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Fort Davis is very convenient to a lot of Texas gems like the McDonald Observatory, Fort Davis, Davis Mountains. Great hiking and nature in a dark sky preserve. Not bad food in town either!

We loved our stay at Earth House Marfa! Our trip was delayed by a day and the folks at Trans Pecos Realty were quick to respond to my messages and really easy going. The house was beautiful and as described on the site. Amazing decor and it felt so peaceful. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook food and make coffee. Our kids loved sitting at the bar to eat breakfast! The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels, toilet paper, and soap. The bedrooms were peaceful and comfortable and the living room was relaxing to hang out in... wonderful record selection! The location was perfect with proximity to restaurants and the library, perfect for riding bikes around town! Its the little things that matter when you are traveling with children... things like good sponges and soap to wash dishes, soft towels and a clean tub for bathing, good coffee for the parents, feeling safe... Earth House Marfa met every one of them. Its a perfect desert get-away spot!
