I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb over the weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the stunning beach view, which provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of the sun rising over the ocean was truly magical. The host was welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. I had a fantastic time exploring the nearby beach and enjoying the local amenities. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quality time by the sea. I can't wait to return!

It's beautiful and secluded in the woods. A perfect place to stay with our dog. We loved it!

We stayed 5 days at this lovely home. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and we were able to navigate easily throughout the house and to the waterfront. Amy was very quick to respond with any questions. The house had everything you could need from food prep to entertainment indoors and out. Beautiful lake view and the deck area was so relaxing and terrific for eating outside. We also loved the fire pit and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Amy left many suggestions for restaurants and stores in the area and we used several and were very pleased. Definitely would recommend and quite possibly will book in the future and bring our sons and their families along. Had a very memorable time,

House was beautiful and there was plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids. Host responded to my questions very quickly. My only regret is that out of 3 days we were only at the house for about 15 hours - long enough to sleep a few hours early each morning. We spent the majority of our time at the wedding venue decorating - it took 23 hours - and then putting on the wedding and cleaning up. A snowstorm hit the first night. We passed the snow removal guy the next morning on our way back to the venue. He cleared out all the snow before we returned early the next morning.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing great local recommendations. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was a spacious 2 bedroom home. All of the needed items to prepare food was available in the kitchen, there were even a few spices available. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable (the one we slept in did squeak a bit, but not enough to wake us). We weren't there long, but it meet the needs we had.

Caitlin’s place was beautiful. The area is very serene and relaxing. The home had all amenities described and more. I especially appreciated all the amenities that were made with kids in mind. We had more than enough space and entertainment options for everyone without even leaving the house. Nearby there is lots to do within 5-30 min drive. Would be a great walking/running area as well. Just note if you go after Oct. 20 some things in the area start closing for the season and most are closed by the 31st. Caitlin was very responsive, helpful, and considerate. She was quick to message back with recommendations and answer questions. We loved our stay at the Toasted Marshmallow!

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. They where so accommodating and quick with response. We even left our linens and they provided brand new ones right away we didn’t even have to wait long. They where both great and the view is amazing

As listed and described, perfect long weekend for a girls get away within distance to many attractions and sights, but far enough away too from any tourist area and city noise and lights

Had a wonderful relaxing time at Catherine's house. Very comfortable and the sound of lake Hurons waves rolling in was so peaceful. We definitely will be trying to book it again.

Rented for a softball tournament. Had a blast. It was warm outside and the upstairs was kind of on the warm side. No air conditioning. Overall worked well for what we needed.

Ashel's space was amazing. Exactly as described and had everything we needed. Beautiful space with a great view of Lake Huron and the ships passing by. We even saw an eagle and swans. We were here for Christmas and the heated floor was a pleasant surprise. We were never cold. We look forward to staying here again.

Stayed with our two kids, day tripped to Cheboygan for bowling and lunch and to Alpena for the awesome maritime museum. We also took a sunny hike to the beautiful. Ocqueoc Falls. Maybe best of all, we sauna-ed while the kids slept/napped every day we were there. I’ll note that when we realized we forgot our 3 year old’s winter coat, Michael gave us many store suggestions and also a whole itinerary if we wanted to make a day trip out of it. He was extremely helpful!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful cabin. Exactly what I was looking for. Remote location, beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Short drive (~30 min) to the coast of Lake Huron. Absolutely worth the long drive. Very well priced for our stay. If you are looking for a small, remote, quiet space with the natural beauty of the northern United States, this is a great option.
