We enjoyed a very peaceful stay at Cango retreat with a lot of friendly animals on site and in a beautiful location.

We stayed for 1 night in the cottage and it was lovely. Comfortable bed, spacious, good kitchen etc. The property is beautiful and peaceful and it's pet friendly. Hostage are lovely and friendly as is their lovely dog.

Very enjoyable farm stay with a very friendly and hospitable family, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is not big but comfortable and has anything you need for a short break. Especially loved the hot tub, which the hosts kindly fired every night for me - what pleasure to relax in hot water and admire the night sky full of stars! Louis and his family are such open, friendly and hospitable people - it is a privilege to have been given an opportunity to be their guest. The farm is not far from Oudtshoorn and is easily accessible, I was given clear instructions and had no problem at all finding the place. Great stay overall.

Wish we could have stayed longer - pure paradise! We loved every second here, especially falling asleep to the sound of the stream outside the cottage! Thanks for a lovely stay 😊

This place is a hidden gem. On the road to Kango caves this small slice of paradise is one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever visited in the Karoo. All of the accommodations are on the Waters edge with a swipe of beautiful green grass that is incredibly well-maintained. The river is stunning with hammocks and water activities to keep you busy. The staff are fabulous, being kind, courteous and helpful at every opportunity. I visited lots of places and our visited lots of places many times this is going to be one of those places I visit again and again.

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful cottage with thougtfull touches. Enjoyed the privacy and silence. Wished we stayed longer and certainly will be back! Zelma was an excellent hostess.

This is a true treasure of the Karoo! Luxurious, well fitted kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and bedroom and the allure of nature all around you. Will definitely recommend!

A perfect escape into the serene! This peaceful farm cabin near Calitzdorp is a hidden treasure. Waking up to birdsong and the stars dancing in the clear night sky - unmatched Klein Karoo magic. What an incredible stay! This little farmhouse in Prince Albert was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay feel truly special. Waking up to breathtaking views, enjoying the tranquility of the countryside, and unwinding in such a charming and well-kept space was just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended!

One word to describe this place and home, ZEN! Beautiful home with a welcoming feel. Relaxing atmosphere at the pool and walking the labyrinth was so calming for the mind! We loved our stay, and Ampie our host was really wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed the restaurant “De Krans” close by. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, accommodating, spacious... Bit of a travel to surrounding site seeing BUT very worth it as the scenery is not boring... You actually discover MORE between the house and site seeing places such as Cango Caves etc... Would definitely stay here again

Excellent stay! Very cool house. Had everything we needed. Frans gave us great recommendations for dinner. Pool was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back, highly recommend!

El Dorado was a fantastic stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The secure estate added peace of mind, and the location was perfect for exploring Oudtshoorn’s attractions. We especially enjoyed the communal swimming pool for unwinding after a day out. Highly recommended!

Simon & Toby's place was lovely and cool despite the heat. The Aircon in the bedroom was a great plus. The cottage is in a lovely quiet area and is very private. We loved the outdoor shower! Co-host Lorna referred us to a sweet cottage in Die Hel (Gamkaskloof) which was worth the trip despite knowing that the road is quite rough - your vehicle needs high clearance!

Although brief, we had a really lovely stay at Jean-Luc and Marie-Claire's, we felt right at home in the old farmhouse and enjoyed the walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is huge, super clean with comfy beds and a beautiful and peaceful garden. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed one night in the Old School Cottage and then we extended our stay to one night in the Birds Nest Cottage. Altough the Old School Cottage had a very special flair, we preferred the Birds Nest, we thought it was more cosy. The location of both is great, we could enjoy a wonderful starry sky.

We spent 2 nights and it was amazing stay. The place was the perfect location, walkable within reach of restaurants and shops. Jude wad the perfect host, she took care of everything from restaurants reservations to recommendations for things and no ask was not too big for her to help. 100% recommend staying with Jude and Brian. Loved the plunge pool and the Braii( BbQ grill). The house and grounds are beautiful and very comfortable.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Sharon ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die sich mit großem Engagement um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste kümmert. Sehr netter und schneller Kontakt. Veranda bzw. schattige Außenbereiche sowie Pool für die Gäste vorhanden. Das Haus ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber, nett eingerichtet und mit allem Notwenigen ausgestattet. Das Bad ist etwas klein, was uns aber nicht gestört hat (waren nur zu zweit). Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful stay at Leonis. Easy check in, the space is lovely and had everything we needed. Quiet, very clean, it was a pleasure to stay at Leonis while in Prince Albert.
