This place is a must! Do yourself a favor and rent this amazing place ASAP. We can’t wait to come back. We had so much fun, between a nice little walk down to the creek, cooking over the fire, and rocking on the porch. Our dogs didn’t want to leave, they were so happy hanging out at Katie’s place. We will definitely be booking in the fall to enjoy this place during another season to appreciate the views and scenery. Thank you so much to the host for being so responsive and kind.

The places this couple has are the best in Blackstone! I highly recommend and I hope to stay each time I come. I will be back.

We stayed at Kelly's home for business- we were doing maintenance work for one of our local customers. The location was great, it was easy to find, it was within walking distance of several restaurants and coffee shops, and it was quiet and private. There were many other food/grocery/coffee shop/drugstore options within a short drive. It was also very convenient for our customer work. We stay in a lot of B&B type lodgings - internet access is always important, and Kelly's home provided fast and reliable service in this regard. The home itself was comfortable and well appointed. It is an old/historic building but upgraded with modern amenities- certainly adequate for what we needed during our stay. We didn't spend any time sightseeing or taking advantage of the local outdoor activities, but it is easy to see that this facility would be great for vacation as well as business. Thank you.

Katherine and Hayne's listing was perfect for our weekend getaway for a friend's wedding. They were extremely flexible with our different times of arrival. Their home is so cozy and open and we couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay! Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway :)

Sadly, my husband and I didn’t have the chance to stay here because of water issues, but Patricia arranged a hotel for us. We planned to stay here the night of our wedding. We were bummed we couldn’t stay here, but the hotel was wonderful. We had an issue with payment and the hotel ended up charging us but Patricia promptly sent us the money back via “Venmö” The hotel was also more expensive and they covered the additional cost which was very kind. Hopefully the next time we are in the area we can stay with them! Overall amazing hosts and went above and beyond.

This ranks at the top of places we have stayed. The house was perfect, had everything you would need or want. The hot tub was clean and under a covered porch like addition which made it nice when it was raining. Everything was labeled , all switches and ceiling fans. Not to far from a Walmart if you left something home also. Only one thing that you would want to keep in mind is you will probably need 4wd if it would snow. There is a steep incline to get to house that you have to give it a little extra to get up. Other than that I would still recommend it and give it a 10/10!!!

My grown sons who live in Virginia were able to meet me for a guys getaway. The disc golf and hiking area was very attractive from the photos and videos. We were very pleased with how well this place worked for us. Palmer did an excellent job putting in 18 baskets of disc golf. The home is well placed on the property and the grounds are well taken care of. The home has updated bathrooms and kitchen. We had great family time. Palmer was a great host. We hope to go back again.

My stay at Lucid Dreams was amazing! Dale is super sweet, quick to respond/always available, and very welcoming, guiding you through her beautiful property and furry friends! Her horses roam peacefully around and the land has creeks and forest, everything you need is right there! The home is cute and she has everything set up for you and more, from games to snacks to toiletries. Would recommend 100%

Our group greatly enjoyed our stay at the villa! We loved sitting out on the dock for our morning coffee and ended each day around the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and clearly organized. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets to keep us cozy, and even some options for flexible sleeping arrangements (trundle bed and an extra cot). We also appreciated the ample parking and that it was only a 10 minute drive to Hampden-Sydney campus. We would absolutely stay again!
