Everything about Villa Merida is absolutely incredible. We've been lucky enough to have travelled to quite a few places and this is our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in. The villa is gorgeous. The pool and courtyard are beautiful and the room was extremely spacious, with the most comfortable bed and gorgeous decorative elements. The owner has done a wonderful job of renovating but maintaining the colonial charm. It has such thoughtful touches, such as extra towels for the pool and cenotes, a massive container of drinking water that we could fill our water bottles with that gets changed everyday, wonderful smelling toiletries. The villa itself isabout a 25 minute walk to the centre, which has all the best bars and restaurants, or a £3 Uber, and the Ubers were super easy to order. Batiste, the manager was fantastic. He gave us the best recommendations and was so helpful and responsive for any questions we had. If you're wondering whether to stay, just book it, you won't regret it!

This was my fifth stay at Villa Mérida and it most certainly won’t be my last. It is a tranquil oasis within the heart of a beautiful and dynamic city. There aren’t words sufficient to describe how welcoming and kind the staff are, including Batiste, the gracious concierge. We were so sad that we weren’t able to catch him before our departure to say goodbye. The Villa itself is pure magic. The pool was recently upgraded with a heating system that provides the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip. The landscaping is a tropical dream come true. The kitchen is the perfect place to meet other guests, grab coffee or espresso, and prepare a quick meal if you don’t feel like venturing out. If you are lucky enough to find rooms available, book them. You won’t be disappointed!

I had a wonderful stay! Batiste, the host, and other staff were so friendly and ran the place beautifully and professionally. It was private and peaceful but there were many opportunities to connect and visit with other guests. I also arrived to the surprise that my room was renovated and had a fantastic new and bigger layout which was perfect! The area felt very safe even at night, and it was very close and accessible to anywhere I wanted to visit. If not walkable, everything was a quick Uber ride away. I would absolutely recommend Villa Merida to anyone! Thanks to Batiste & co. For a lovely vacation.

Sin lugar a dudas, regresaré!

This was a return trip for us, after six years away, and the property is even more wonderful now than before. You are staying in a historic mansion in downtown Merida and you feel like this sumptuous villa is yours. The ceilings must be almost 20 feet. The gardens and courtyards are iconic tropical Mexico. And the pool — now heated! Plus a large communal kitchen where you can make coffee and breakfast in the morning. The staff is welcoming and helpful. And your are within 20-25 minute walk to the Main Plaza and other centro attractions, restaurants and bars. Phenomenal.

As advertised. There were quite a few bugs and creatures, but that can be expected at a campsite with cabanas.

I had a wonderful two weeks visiting Merida. Casa Limones felt like home from the moment I walked in. the kitchen was very well equipped, the pool was spectacular, and the beds were comfortable. It is slightly far out of the busy centro area, and as such, has a very peaceful feeling. I hope to come back some day.

my husband and I stayed in Monica's home for a full week. the home was huge and could have easily accommodated a family or a group. the home was located near shops and restaurants. It had colonial charm with modern amenities ( air con, filtered water, smart tv). The outdoor area had nice furniture and ceiling fans. The pool was beautiful, we used it everyday.

Una excelente estancia. Willy y Cindy estuvieron siempre al pendiente de nuestra llegada y de dudas que tuvimos; nos compartieron muchas recomendaciones locales para disfrutar nuestra estancia. La casa muy amplia y justo lo que necesitábamos; no nos faltó nada. Es justo lo que se publica en el anuncio. La comunicación con Willy fue puntual y oportuna, incluso una vez realizado el check out. Nos dio oportunidad de dejar las maletas en casa para terminar nuestras últimas vueltas. Sin duda volveremos!

If you’re an American looking for an American big chain experience. Stop move on! If you want a warm welcome location with a unique experience and fantastic host, this is your place. I enjoyed my stay and found some new friends along the way. It is relaxed, easy walking to all the events in centro. The combination of European culture with the Yucatan environment creates a unique cultural atmosphere.

Location was really close to the city center, just a few blocks walk. Walking distance from restaurants and convenience stores. The front desk people were very friendly, gave us directions to places to eat, booked us taxis, and help arrange day trips to puerto progreso and Valladolid. This boutique hotel is quiet and very relaxing. The pool is also a great addition to cool off in the afternoon before dinner. Highly recommend for people who want to relax and explore Merida. I will be staying here again on my future trips to Merida. Also, the continental breakfast they offer is great and inexpensive.

Nos encanto! Nos quedamos en la habitación Gabriel y fue una grata sorpresa quedarnos aquí porque la casa es mucho mas bella de lo que se aprecia en las fotos, el recibimiento de la Sra Berta es acogedor y muy agradable y el contacto con Juan es rápido y efectivo, con su trago yo genuinamente me sentí como en mi casa. La casa super limpia, la cama y almohadas super cómodas, nos despertábamos con fruta y a veces pan disponible para desayunar, hubo mucha flexibilidad tanto para el ingreso como para la hora de salida. Había mucho silencio para poder dormir con tranquilidad y cortinas black out. En general es muy privado estar ahí porque las habitaciones tienen suficiente distancia entre ellas. Mi próxima visita a Merida me quedare con ellos sin dudarlo! 😄

A mi pareja y a mi nos encantó, buen trato al llegar y buena atención, sin duda regresaremos

Tuvimos un tiempo muy bueno en Mérida. El Airbnb de José está en una ubicación perfecta, cerca del centro y tranquilo. La casa es limpia y bonita. Puedes conocer gente o estar tranquilo. José es muy amable y siempre quiere ayudar. Siempre está feliz y sonríe. Volveríamos aquí otra vez. ¡Recomendamos este lugar! ¡Todo fue perfecto!

Es un lugar hermoso, los encargados son muy amables, está muy limpio. Solo sí hay que caminar como 6 cuadras algo largas para llegar al centro. Volvería a alojarme ahí sin pensarlo. El desayuno es casero y delicioso
