Two of us in town for a memorial service and gathering of friends. The place was great-perfect size-two bedrooms worked for us perfectly-cute place. Minor point is a bathroom typical of these little homes, with a toilet literally right next to the tub/shower with only an inch or two to spare on the sides-made for some interesting "negotiating!" But as I said, this is minor. Shower great! Located in a great neighborhood, peaceful, safe to walk, close to a mall and restaurants etc. Be aware there is a basement tenant- took us by surprise but that was because we didn't read the description fully! They were super quiet and we barely knew anyone else was there. Their apartment is separate from the unit. Definitely recommend the place and Josh was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great front porch for sitting and watching the world, lots of windows, good linens and towels, extra blankets, easy on street parking., Keurig, so very quiet-we would rent again in a heartbeat....

Molly was a great host and very helpful when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable for our family. Her home was very clean, the furniture was really comfortable, and the home was on an active farm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful farm land. The home is also only about 10 minutes to Adel which has a cute little downtown area with several resturants and only about a half hour to the West end of Des Moines which had a lot of shopping and activity. It was a perfect stay for us.

The Corn Crib is a very cozy place to stay after a long day. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could think of! Loved the decor of the Crib and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful 🍂 Will definitely stay again!

Colby’s Instructions were very helpful and clearly written it’s obvious he is very experienced. The house was beautiful plenty of space to sit, sleep, and eat and in a quiet spot. The amenities were great having a dumpster there was very helpful multiple fridges and plenty of parking. The barn was very cool my guests were not expecting anything like that, we all had a lot of fun and had no problems keeping the place clean and following the rules.

I’m so grateful that we stayed here. It is a very green space. Mary Lynne has a knack for creating ambience in their cottage. So beautiful and well decorated/ living space arrangement- super chic! It was so well stocked, the bed comfortable and soft, and we absolutely loved the quiet and private, clean and beautiful cottage. We enjoyed the outside too! Cool livestock like chickens and cows, friendly dogs, and an amazing front porch for getting sun and away from the hustle and bustle. We got a great kick out of seeing the farmer with his tasks and the dogs riding along on his tractors and atv’s. I would choose this cottage a thousand times over a hotel. The energy was great, I felt safe there, and we had a great bonfire our last evening under the stars. Thank you to our hostess and host for the hospitality.

The house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We had a large group in town for a wedding with many of us traveling from out of state. It was so nice to have the space we all could hang out without feeling like sardines. The bedrooms and beds were all large and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and everything we needed was already there for us. There was a lot of fun extras in the house and the game room was a huge hit with the kids! We LOVED it! Thank you!!

Absolutely stunning. The home itself is just immaculate in both craftsmanship and esthetic. Beautiful surroundings, so many comfy places to sit and relax. Had a great weekend away with old friends and it was the perfect spot to disconnect and catch up. We also chatted briefly with the host and he was super friendly and very helpful - he even offered a bundle of kindling and a lighter when he knew it’d be a perfect evening for a fire. Highly, highly recommend - we’ll be back!
