This house indeed has a magic lanai, with amazing sunset views and a beautifully private feeling. The lanai had a breeze if you were hot, and the pool was nestled calmly in trees and was a wonderful mid-afternoon reprieve, and great for the kids. The home itself is smartly designed to cool off quickly at night. Large space with easy flow. Chelsea and Rudi are very helpful When the washing machine broke (such is the randomness of life) it was easily arranged for us to be able to do the laundry next door. Loved the neighbourhood. Away from the busy Ali'i drive, but close enough to walk down to enjoy, or take a short drive. Private and quiet, this was a great home in which to unwind.

Sandra's place brings healing. It is beautiful, quiet, and serene. The views are lovely of ocean below, and the wind blows quietly through bows of citrus, avocado, and palms. There are likely multiple Walden Ponds on the Big Island of Hawaii, but this is one of them. Tranquility reins at this property.

Nice, quiet house! No A/C except in the bedrooms with lots of fans to try to help in the hot afternoons, but hopefully you’ll be cooling off in the amazing pool. My kids had a blast and they were swimming as much as possible.

This tiny house was a dream for our 10 night stay in Kona to celebrate our anniversary. It has everything you would need and more for cooking, and relaxing. Amazing host that went above and beyond for us multiple times during our stay, and we are so grateful to have experienced our best airbnb in our favorite place, Kona. This unit is near the best snorkeling on the island (in our opinion) and is near many great food options. Plenty of things to use for the beach and in the kitchen to prepare meals. We would absolutely recommend this place to friends, family, and go again ourselves, after such a flawless, and peaceful experience. The property is downright gorgeous. All around spot on.

This house is wonderful - clean space, beautiful decor and landscaping, nice layout, and great pool! It is also super close to everything, but separate enough that you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. It was great that a variety of beach items, pool toys, and baby gear was provided. Hosts were very responsive and helpful as well.

We went for a family vacation and fit everyone’s needs. Great for kids,grandparents and everyone in between. It was a wonderful place to be when we weren’t adventuring on island. Such a spectacular backyard to hangout in, patio for meals and kitchen for cooking. Everyone had their space! Andy and Bryn were quick with any questions we had. We look forward to booking again!

Naomi’s place is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious. The lanai is an exotic and fun feature and the house is full of character. Tropical frogs serenade at night time while the morning starts with beautiful bird song and a view of the ocean. Meanwhile, beaches, restaurants, and shops are only a 5-10 minute drive away. When you stay in the house though, you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of day to day life. I stayed here with my wife, two young children, and in-laws. It was a fantastic time and I will always remember it!

We really enjoyed our stay. For our family group of 9 this property fit our needs perfectly! The pool right outside our doors was great, and the hot tub was also used frequently. The kitchen was well supplied with whatever we needed for cooking at home. We enjoyed the outside dining area; the weather was beautiful, and we ate almost all of our meals outside. The house was very comfortable. Probably the feature I like the best is the view we had of the ocean to the west. We had some fantastic sunsets! Our host Khanh was quick to respond with any questions we had. We have great memories of our time there.

Island Views Hale was the perfect place for our family of four adults to stay. We all had enough private space and communal space to enjoy our time. We enjoyed all our dinners on the lanai watching the sunset and then the geckos emerging. The mornings were filled with birdsong and turkey gobbles. The property is well provisioned for cooking and for beach fun.

This home was perfect. My kids and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and how big the property was. We felt comfortable and at ease after our daily adventures to come back to a safe and quiet home to a hot home cooked meal. My small family loves to cook so having a full kitchen was important to us during our stay. We definitely would return someday soon. Thank you so very much.

The home was clean and very inviting. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. The hosts were welcoming and available to answer questions but not intrusive. We didn't spend much time in the house except eating and sleeping - but it was nice to have a beautiful home away from home. Very lovely stay. Jack and Jackie, Lee and Christi

Loved our stay! Walkable to town, gorgeous grounds, functional kitchen, friendly and helpful staff and large lanai for eating outdoors. The only issue we had was the internet kept going out (three times during our stay). The internet service provider for the resort is an external 3rd party so this isn’t something the property had control over. Each time we had to call the isp to have the internet restored, which they did.

Karen's house is beautiful. Everything was beautiful and functional - and lots of unexpected little treats. I personally loved the bathroom with its ornate sink and private toilet, plus the lights throughout the house were beautiful. The kitchen was good and contained basic supplies so cooking our food was simple. I could have sat on the deck and watched the ocean for hours. We walked to the Waipio overlook - very easy walk. Honokaa is a nice little town that reminded me of Paia 30 years ago.

Beautiful house! We loved how spacious it was as well as how private it was. It was very nice to have a private pool rather than having to use the community pool. It was perfect being there in the “winter” we were able to keep the doors open most of the day with the screens keeping the bugs out. Keep in mind that the blinds are more for daytime privacy and are much less effective at night. You can see straight through them. This wasn’t a big deal for us we just limited our changing to the bathrooms.

We are a couple and stayed for two weeks in February. We loved the house. The lanai is so comfortable with gorgeous sunsets every night. We also appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was with everything we needed (and good knives!). And we appreciated the beach gear. Great beach umbrella! Cheryl was very responsive whenever we needed something or had a question. The location is great for exploring the west coast north and south. It’s a short drive to town and grocery stores/ restaurants. Be aware that there are no shops/ convenience stores or cafes within walking distance. A great place to stay. Highly recommended.

This large rambling rustic farm house overlooked a sheep pasture and large trees, with many birds, especially in the morning and was quiet and peaceful . The night sky was crystal clear with stars and the Milky Way visible from the front yard. The front porch offered a lovely place to sit, mornings and throughout the day with a gentle breeze. We rented all three apartments so had extensive space for privacy and shared visits. The three kitchens had plenty of cooking utensils, with two large refrigerators and a nice stove, air fryer, etc. Lazy Susan table in dining room was very useful for dining. All beds were comfy. Krisann and Sam were very helpful and communicated quickly to our questions and allowed us early checking in as we were traveling with our food for the week. They shared a helpful list of places to visit and their favorite recommendations. The area is out of the way but we found plenty to do, including swimming and hiking.

This place is so wonderful! Peaceful neighborhood with lots in walking distance! Pools and hot tubs were great for us on cloudy days, and being walking distance to restaurants and snorkel spots, it was exactly what our family needed! The beds were comfortable (though I wish they had cotton sheets bc it gets a bit warm at night!), the backyard was great for kids, the garage is stocked with everything you could imagine needing for a beach/snorkel day. Jeff and Suzanne really thought of everything here, and it shows! And they happily accommodated our request to have no fragrance cleaning products, which, for a family with allergies, this was super important to us. We would book this again! We did have a few issues with the cleanliness of the dishwasher and washing machine, but they were so quick to address it and make efforts to make things right. This place is worth every penny and made our time in Hawaii really nice.

Our stay was very peaceful, and we watched the pigs and geckos on multiple occasions. The neighborhood has very steep hills since it is on the side of a hill, but manageable. I appreciated the laundry especially after the beach, and Guy was very helpful and gave a warm welcome when we arrived. The sunset view was gorgeous, and I would recommend this home to others.

This airbnb was fabtastic. The home felt breezy and was very clean. There were 5 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The home was fully stocked with anything we needed to cook and plenty of beach towels. The home is nearby plenty of sites and restaraunts but far enough away that it felt peaceful. Charles is a wondeful and responsive host!

If you want a private quiet place to watch the ocean, this is the place for you. While there are other houses close by, the house is designed to give you privacy and it does. We could only hear the cars on the road if they were really loud. The master bedroom was the best though. The sliding glass doors opened all the way up and provided a gorgeous view. Great house, great location and i would love to be able to afford a house like this lol

Richard’s place is a gem on the northern tip of the island. It is brilliant for those who are looking for something different and unique. Richard was extremely friendly and responsive to our questions about the area. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Benjamin's place and would definitely stay again in the future. The location was very convenient, close enough to town and to other beaches up the coast. The residence was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, there is work station for your laptop. It was very well stocked with everything you need from beach chairs , snorkels, fins, towels to baby monitors and board games. The outdoor furniture was also a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. Benjamin was a great host and checked in on us regularly to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you!
