We enjoyed our stay at Matthew's place immensely. It was clean and quiet with spectacular ocean views. We made good use of the wood stove, the hot tub and the waffle maker - all made for cozy touches on our weekend away. We appreciated how clean everything was on arrival, and how responsive our host was (a rarity in the age of Vacasa and Grand Welcome). Sea Ranch is a favorite place of ours for a weekend of doing nothing and we'd definitely return to Matthew's place if available. Reminder to those less familiar with the area - you are in a chilly/damp corner of California by the sea, bring extra layers!

The Wild Iris Beach House was simply amazing! The views are breathtaking. The house was beautiful with huge windows to see the ocean views. The porch is large with seats to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine. The hot tub was warm and ready for us to use! Jon and Monique were great hosts. They had a sweet note and a bottle of wine at the house to greet us. The kitchen is well stocked. This was a great place to relax and make sweet family memories. We will 100% be returning to this beach house!

This property was stunning and the perfect spot for our bridal party during a busy wedding week. John and Wendy were incredibly accommodating, especially with the service animal and the bride’s needs. While the shower pressure could’ve been stronger, the water was consistently hot, even with multiple people showering back to back. There was plenty of bedding for our group, and the upstairs King bed had some loose slats, but it was an easy fix. If you move around a lot at night, sleep closer to the stairs. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we had plenty of space to store our food throughout the week. The surrounding nature was beautiful, with daily deer sightings, frogs, and a forested view of the ocean. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway near both the ocean and Fort Bragg.

Sheryl's place is fantastic and as described in the listing: it is a beautiful house, well equipped, spacious, and spotless clean. Check-in and check-out were very easy and hassle-free, communicating with Sheryl was pleasant as well. We had a great time and would book again!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house near Clear Lake! The views were breathtaking, and the home was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family with two young kids. The large windows and deck made for a peaceful and relaxing experience, and we loved watching the sunset over the mountains. The location was great for exploring nature, and the space felt like a perfect retreat. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a scenic getaway! We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay just outside of Ft. Bragg! The house had everything we needed, from a kitchen island to a sauna, to easy to use fireplaces. Our host Marina even welcomed us with fresh eggs from her chickens! Would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at Mara's. This Airbnb was better equipped than any other we have ever stayed in. Mara was very communicative and accommodating. The place was immaculate and we had everything we needed. It was even larger and more beautiful than in the pictures. The lot was quiet and peaceful. It was a short drive to Mendocino and a ton of restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Mara!

We had a great two-night stay, and love the area for beach combing, hiking and photography. The small community the bungalow is situated within is adorned with Redwoods and is very peaceful. We stayed in March and enjoyed the radiant heat the wood burning stove provided. Start it early enough in the evening and the entire house will be warm before you know it. We'd absolutely book again.
