My guests and I had an excellent stay. Alex our host was incredibly attentive and responsive to our needs. He checked on us throughout our stay, communicated, and provided recommendations to restaurants and attractions within the area. The condos were in excellent condition, clean, and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and stores.

Amamos este lugar , Iván siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotros , a cada detalle , las zonas comunes del edificio y el apto en general hermoso y muy cómodo , tenía todo lo que necesitábamos y más para pasar unas lindas y cómodas vacaciones y lo más importante sentirnos como en casa , más que recomendado , de fácil acceso , puedes llegar a todo lugar tranquilamente y está cerca de hermosos lugares.

The condo is very nice and the location can't be beat. It is two blocks away from the beach and three blocks away from 5th avenue where all the restaurants, bars etc. are located. Also 15 min away from the Xcaret parks. The view from the pool on the rooftop is breathtaking. You'll enjoy hanging out on the rooftop. There's also a hot tub pool. The kitchen was very well stocked and it has a huge 80" TV in the living room. Very nice condo. I recommend you rent a car as the taxis gouge you in Playa del Carmen. A 10-15 min ride is $20 and 4 persons max.

Thierry is a great host! Very responsive and able to assist in anything you need during your stay. His condo was perfect for our family vacation. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the pool, the fabulous beach right out front and loved how walkable the area was; very safe, even at night. Taxis always waiting outside too if you need to go a little further. This location is perfect and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The beds were super comfortable and the condo was clean, quiet, and the AC was excellent when needing to cool off after being in the sun all day. We will be back! 😎

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was just as described. Beautiful apartment and view! Walking distance to 5th avenue and all the action ! Eric and his assistant Liz are very responsive regarding any questions during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Our family vacation at Cascadas is unforgettable. The beautiful location with the constant sounds of waves, lovely villa with so many great views especially the sunrises seen from every bedroom. Our family of 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 4,7 & 10) had lots to do exploring the area on golf cart and short walk to the beach. Armando & Andrea cooked 4 dinners for us and absolutely delicious!! They are lovely people and prepared continental breakfast each morning. The comp massages were amazing. Crystal and Lisa were our therapists and were professional and skilled, enjoyed the outdoor experience with sounds of waves & birds. Definitely recommend La Buena Vita for happy hour, Turtle Cafe is adorable & delicious food. Snorkeling at YalKu lagoon is definitely worth doing. We took the Collectivo and it was safe & cheap when visiting Atkun Chen cenyote. The food is also great across the bridge in Town of Akumal. Great tacos! So much to see and do - would love to return some day!!!

What a wonderful week we just spent at Balam Ek! We truly did not want to leave. The house is centrally located in Akumal, within easy walking distance of La Buena Vida, a small convenience store, La Lunita, and the Jungle Cafe. Everything was sparkling clean and well-maintained by Leticia and Roberto, and the rooms were comfortable. The views were unbeatable, and the house was well-equipped with towels and kitchen equipment. Sun rises were especially beautiful here! If you want a sandy beach, this is not the house for you. We don’t mind an iron shore, and we swam in the ocean daily right in front of the house. Just make sure you bring water shoes because the volcanic rock is too sharp for bare feet. We would not hesitate to stay at Balam Ek again. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 3 retired couples that stayed for 30 days at Laura’s place. We loved the area! Gated , safe area, secure property. Walked to beautiful beach , and restaurants, convenience stores. The house was nice and very well stocked. Rooftop was great! The community was very friendly and helpful

Beautiful home. Not far from the beach. Pool area is always a bonus when you just want to relax for the evening. Felt right at home :)

Carolina’s place was the perfect combination of having everything we wanted in a place to stay and being close to downtown Cozumel when we wanted see the sights. There was more than enough space for the two of us, from the spacious master bedroom with an amazing view, to the fully stocked kitchen and sitting area. We were outside more than in, either soaking up the sun, relaxing in the pool, or taking the ladder down fight into the ocean. We had planned to take snorkel tours during our visit, but the underwater life right in front of Casa Rojas was varied and spectacular. We had rented a car to take in all the island’s sights, but we were also able to comfortably walk into Centro Cozumel from the house. Carolina was communicative from the day we booked and throughout our stay. Needless to say, Carolina and Casa Rojas made our first visit to Cozumel everything we could have hoped for!

We had a wonderful stay in Akumal. We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids (infant, 3,6) and the place was well set up for our group. The beach was beautiful and so accessible right out the back door, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the outdoor space was so comfortable and inviting. The neighborhood was peaceful and relaxed. There was a portable crib available for the baby. We had chef Carlos come for a few breakfasts and dinners and the food was amazing-such a treat. We visited Akumal Natura Rescue, the Tulum ruins, and Yax-kin cenote, all wonderful and close by. Would highly recommend this place.

Cuando vuelva a Cozumel regresaría a la misma casa, me sentí como en mi propia casa y bien recibido y atendido.

La Belle Vie is the most lovely and tasteful rental I’ve ever had. The artwork, setting on the beach, gathering spaces for our group provided classy atmosphere for conversation and meditation. My husband and I were comfortable in the first floor ensuite room and my son and his family were appreciative of their three bedrooms upstairs. The rooftop was perfect for cocktails and stargazing. The kitchen and fridge were well stocked and serving dishes and cooking items ample. The beach was just steps off our porch and if it wasn’t for the sargassum we would have swum every day there. The beach was a slightly better option. The host was helpful and prompt. A book with some information on the house and area would have answered some questions. Overall, I can’t say enough good to recommend this spot.

Gary has a beautiful condominium. That is worth every penny we paid. Excellent location, beautiful view and a nice infinity pool. I would definitely recommend if your going to Cozumel stay at Garys

If you want a fantastic beachfront condo in the heart of Playa del Carmen, this is the place for you. It's a 2-minute walk to the beach and a 2-minute walk to 5th Avenue. It's maybe a 10-minute walk to the Cozumel ferry. You can't beat the location if you want to be in the city. The condo, the view, and the beach were excellent and felt luxurious. All of the staff we interacted with were professional and friendly. When we booked, we were a little nervous about the noise, knowing it was near some beach clubs. We could hear the faint sound of music when going to bed, but it wasn't a big deal. We had no problems relaxing in the condo, even though we were in the middle of the city. Bottom line - this place was incredible!

This was an amazing stay! We even overheard a couple staying at an all inclusive when we were at a different beach, they did not enjoy that hotel as much as they did at the Residences Reef. Host was very responsive as well. Overall highly recommend!

Stayed here for a few nights with our family and the location was amazing. Collette’s place is nice and clean. We loved that it had extra towels for our family. We relaxed on the balcony in the morning drinking our coffee. The kids had a great time snorkeling and really enjoyed the pool. Definitely recommend Collette’s place!

Barb is a super host, there 10 days, very well equipped, beautifully decorated. They have thought of everything for your comfort and enjoyment. We were thrilled that they shared their space with us. She had to put up with quite a few questions from us, and she was always responsive in a timely manner and patient. This is a very large space for 2 people. There's a separate tv area and bar, bedroom and 2 bathrooms, beautifully laid out large kitchen and living room, with several patio doors to cool things off in the morning. We hardly ever had to use the air conditioner mind you the weather cooled during our stay. Can be a bit noisy with the pool or if somebody stays next door with lots of kids but there is a quiet pool further down near building A to hang. Fav part about holiday is snokelling right off beach, out at reef saw many different kinds of fish, stingrays. This is a must stay, will be back, buy your alcohol at the grocery store nearby or pay x2 or x3, market on wed or sat rocks

Location, location, location—this place takes the cake! Absolutely could not have asked for a better experience for our family vacation with twin 10 year olds. Unbeatable snorkeling, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and must visit tourist stops including Yal-Ku. The host was uber helpful in offering tips, and the BIG binder of tourist ideas and FAQs at the unit was so helpful. Groundskeeper staff went above and beyond, too, cutting down fresh coconuts for us each morning, which was icing on the cake. Almost want to keep this gem a secret. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Highly recommend!!! The property is extremely secure with a very friendly staff that was super helpful. The condo is steps to the sand and pools, both of which are very relaxing without high traffic of people. All of Mark's information was extremely useful, and he made himself available with any questions we had. Overall it was a great experience and we'll definitely be returning!
