Puerto de Vieques : locations de vacances

La Sirena is as pictured and described in the Airbnb profile. A lovely setting for watching sunsets and hearing the waves. Easy access to the market, local restaurants and bakeries. (Great pastries!) Helen was very patient with answering our questions and always responded quickly. We loved the stunning beaches of Vieques and visited the majority of them. The beaches in the refuge are stellar but be for-warned-the road to La Plata, Pata Prieta is slow going due to numerous potholes. Still worth the trip for the view and the surf. Sun bay was another favorite with its wild horses grazing nearby. We also visited the Black Sand Beach,Mosquito Pier and saw the 300 year old Cieba tree. The bioluminescent bay tour was also a positive experience. If you are traveling back and forth to Vieques via the ferry we would strongly recommend you arrange taxi/uber transport in advance. Also recommend buying your ferry tickets as soon as possible online as the terminals can run out of tickets.

Family of 7 w/ 5 teens. We absolutely loved this home. We’ve stayed in many Abnbs and this is one of the cleanest! The deck and view was amazing -breakfast every day out there, sunrise views, hammocks, hanging out playing games, also enjoying the rainstorms, rainbows, it was a memory we will always cherish. Owner and caretakers very good to work with! A few nit-picky things - we didn’t realize the master (king) room did NOT have an attached bathroom. It was fine for us. The attached bathroom is off the queen room. We are very allergic to cats and were not fans of the outdoor cat but also was quite a bit of entertainment because she’s friendly. It’s a drive to beaches for boogie boarding and many more restaurants. If you like to be out of the town and don’t mind driving a bit extra it is perfect. Would recommend this home and go back over and over despite those points. We loved being in the rainforest and away from crowds. (Pool was clean and working but didn’t use it.)

A lovely house -- roomy, yet warm, with spectacular sea views and direct beach access. Evelyn and her property manager, Betty, were a pleasure to work with. Both communicated clearly and in a timely manner. We will happily return. P.S. Sabrina White catered 11 dinners for us. Each was delicious, fresh and well presented. Can't recommend her highly enough. She made our stay even better!

A very nice and cozy place to stay while on vacation. Lots of amenities throughout the house and in a very private and peaceful neighborhood. Very modern and clean house with very easy check in and check out. Maribel was very responsive and helpful if we had any questions or concerns. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Rick is a superior host, kind and communicative! The house was everything we could wish for. Steps to a beautiful beach, and a private pool, gorgeous views! Just perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ola 15. We did a week-long family trip with our youngest at 1.5 years old and the oldest at almost 80. The place worked great for all of us is perfect for a multi-generational group. The house itself is comfortable and flexible, with lots of sleeping spaces and a nice big kitchen. A few notable points about this house: * Amazing view. We spent LOTS of time on the balcony. * Punta Santiago is away from the crowds, yet close enough to drive to tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. * We walked to the little grocery several times a day - fresh bread, fresh donuts, bananas, avocados ... * The beach has very few people. We were there on Spring Break - but no crowds at all. The beach felt like our own. * Ocean here is great for swimming - shallow and sandy with only small waves. * The house is well-equipped with beach stuff (including a rake for the seaweed on the beach) * Shirley & Michele were very responsive. I wanna go back!!!!

This was our family's 2nd time visiting Vieques and staying at Casa Mery. We love the location in Esperanza. You can easily walk to a small grocery store around the block, and the Malecon ("the strip") where the restaurants are located is an easy 8-10 minute walk down the street. The roads are well lit at night so we always felt safe walking around the neighborhood. The gated driveway keeps the roaming horses out! The backyard is huge and so wonderful for kids to run around and play in. We all enjoyed picking the mangoes and then using the blender to make delicious smoothies. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a week's vacation. We especially appreciate the beach chairs, big cooler, towels, and laundry facilities. Each room has its own AC unit and ceiling fans. We learned after our first visit that we all need to bring white noise machines if we want to sleep past 5am because the roosters start making a lot of noise that early! Bring bug spray for mosquitoes!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming little place! The neighborhood felt safe and the home had everything we could possibly need, and more. We especially appreciated the beach items provided, so we didn’t need to bring our own or have to buy them. The guide book was helpful with all the great recommendations. We're already looking forward to coming back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! 😊
