Very responsive hosts. The perfect place to stay for our quick trip to Vieques. Safe and secure, with parking!

My stay was for business purposes, as chefs invited to work at local spot; therefore came in late every night, felt safe in a well lit area and quite neighborhood. Overall very satisfied with this pick, meeting our basic needs. Met Rebecca and Freddy in passing while looking for misplaced keys, and as chefs, we had the pleasure of serving their dinner experience at local restaurant. It was a pleasure hosting them in return on the same weekend. Highly recommended for quiet stay in Vieques.

Great stay on Viequez, you did hear the roosters crow sometimes but idk about you…sleeping in the jungle or hearing roosters or the ocean makes me sleep like a baby… #vacation!! everything was very clean, the place was an easy walk to the ferry, and the whole place had a cool complex and the hallway smelled like a really good candle that i’ve smelled before…or maybe just in Puerto Rico… <3 free coffee! and respectful neighbors, it’s a bit off the main drag which is nice to sleep because the main drag gets poppin (also nice!)

El hospedaje tiene una muy buena ubicación ya que esta en el pueblo y puedes ir caminando a restaurantes, al ferry y colmados. Excelente opción si vas a estar todo el día afuera y necesitas un lugar donde descansar cómodamente y céntrico.

Excellent location and outstanding hosts. You can’t beat the value of this listing. I couldn’t have asked for me. I’m grateful for the hospitality and look forward to the opportunity of going back.

Shalyanne was a wonderful host with a lovely home. Upon walking into the space, Shaly the living room set up for us with a nice welcome note and a TV display of a fireplace with some music, which was a sweet little personal touch. The apartment came with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room area and Shaly provided an outdoor space along the side yard that we could also use. There, we found some beach essentials she provided for us which included some beach chairs and snorkeling gear. There were also spare beach towels and a cooler in a separate space in the bedroom where there was also a lot of space to hang wet clothes and gear from the beach. It was also nice seeing her little dog outside on our trips to and from the house. Shaly had a lovely home and we definitely recommend staying at the Casa Blanca!

Darla was the best host we’ve ever had. She was so kind, helpful, accommodating, and treated us like family. When we were worried about running late to get back to our ferry, she helped to make sure that we were on time. She alsogave us contact information for a driver who helped us get to the other side of the island and was willing to help us with whatever transportation we needed. She couldn’t have been nicer. We rented a golf cart for one day. If you feel like rushing and getting a lot done at once a one night stay is totally sufficient if you have a golf cart and are willing to miss some things. If you have more time, I would recommend using taxis or Darla‘s friend most days and getting a golf cart/ UTV for just one day when you would like to go places that are more remote or have more flexibility. Be aware that anywhere on the island you will hear roosters at all hours. If you are sensitive to sound, bring your noise, canceling headphones etc to help you sleep. The BEST HOST!!!

we went for Biobay tour and loved the place perfect for our stay for a big group and Gina sent recommendations for transportation which helped and made it easy.

Had an amazing few days , spent the evenings on the patio enjoying the view of the whole entire inlet of Culebra . The villa was clean and very open and spacious - this place was better than the pictures - and worth every cent !

La casita azul is a gem in the hills of vieques! While it is a bit of a distance from most activities, the neighbor Jesús is available for rides at a very reasonable rate (lower than taxis!) including tours of the bio bay. It is a small space, and if you are four people you should be comfortable with eachother. No AC was totally fine, the breeze was enough. Only concern was no wifi- but they are working on getting it fixed. Overall a beautifully rustic experience with welcoming hosts on an incredible island!
