Our group of fourteen had an absolutely fantastic stay! The accommodations were both cozy and surprisingly spacious, comfortably fitting all of us across the two rooms we booked. We especially enjoyed the charming presence of their two friendly dogs and the delightful aviary filled with birds. The on-site cafe offered a fantastic variety of delicious food options. Plus, the consistently strong WiFi connection was a definite bonus, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The location proved to be incredibly convenient, with a nearby wet market and several grocery stores allowing us to easily prepare our own breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We also greatly appreciated their assistance in arranging our land tour, and the Infinity Farm was truly a highlight of our trip – a must-see! Without a doubt, we'll be returning to this gem of a place on our next visit to Puerto Galera.

This is an architectural fantasy come to life with artefacts and knickknacks from all over the world. Be prepared for the unconventional & to climb a few steps exploring the spaces. It’s a good location if you have a vehicle. It’s a quiet area with a great ocean view up a steep hill yet close to a beach. Michel met me at the ferry dock and assisted me with motorbike rental and return transport which was very helpful. If you opt for meals, they are amazing, ample & affordable. They also provide drinking water. It’s as private as you want or join convos in common areas and kitchen. I appreciated the suggestions and anecdotes! All the rooms are unique & have their own perks & quirks. Some with A/C, some with wifi, and each has unique furnishings with comfy beds. It’s a place to relax and recharge more than a place to do desk work. A/C is good apart from a power brownout when the generator stopped at night. Pick a room with good airflow as synthetic sheets add to the heat without fans.

Really enjoyed my stay. This was my second time at Amami (in different room types) so I knew what to expect of the location and resort overall. Room is basic, but no moreso than expected for the cost per night. Swinging seat out front is lovely to sit and chill if the mosquitoes don't get you. Shower pressure was surprisingly good, which is great when you're having a few a day after spending time on the beach. Food in the restaurant is good, and it's a nice setting close enough to the beach to hear the sea a few metres away. Staff were all friendly, tricycle drivers across the street are great (no issues with fares etc) and always available for the commute to white beach or a land tour further afield. There are a couple of sari sari stores close by as well for snacks, water, toiletries, beer etc. Talipanan beach is lovely and very easy to find a private spot to relax for a while. Peaceful compared to white beach. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Fantastic place to stay, the whole family enjoyed a great stay at the villa. The caretaker even allowed us to use the Nipa hut which is really nice for sitting at night and enjoying the view of the ocean. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Amami was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, amenities and cozy beds. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back! From the owner of the resort to the staff that cleaned my room one and all down to earth good people! A BIG shout out to Dive master Kris, she was an amazing spotter of the macro critters that I love so much and always kept our safety first in her mind. Thanks for a great holiday!
