This was our second stay (3 years apart) at George's place. We went back for a reason. He's got a great spot with up to two bedrooms (king beds & ensuites). Love the ground floor, private access and the 15' to the infinity pool. An elevator takes you down to the large, private beach (there is no external access because of large, natural, volcanic rock barriers at each end. There are two outside showers to rinse off sand. The area is a group of resorts set off from the main highway making it somewhat private and a good security detail ensures only guests are on-site. There is a large, modern kitchen & sitting & eating area, with a powder room. There are ceiling fans everywhere and air-conditioning in the bedrooms. A barbecue is also supplied in the private entryway. The Laguna Grotto bar/grill serves excellent food, reasonably priced. All staff are courteous and well-trained. The drive from the airport only took about 25 minutes. Drive carefully.

came here on a solo surf trip, it was perfect. I wanted a low key place that wasn't a resort. This is a one bedroom apartment in a quiet safe location tucked away with a great outdoor space. The kitchen has all the basics to cook your own meals. The AC works well, it's in the bedroom only, but the house was cool when I came back from the beach every day (with the AC off), there's also a clean pool to cool off in. There's a fan in the kitchen as well if you need a breeze while cooking! The shower has hot water and decent pressure. Easy 5-10 min walk to the food park, a bakery/breakfast, and 2 convenience stores, and an ATM. Most importantly it's a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Absolutely highly recommend for a solo traveler/couple. I felt safe here and walked to the beach alone and to/from the shop at night. Eve was soooo helpful and very responsive! Her place looks exactly like the photos. Thank you so much Eve!!!

We had a great stay in Puerto Plata. The apartment is really small, but we spent most of our time outside. It's just across the street from the malecon, (although there's no windows to see the ocean). Everything is walkable; restaurants all around, less than 10 minutes to a supermarket, or the downtown tourist area. Some family came in on a cruise ship one day, and it was only 20 minutes to walk to the port to meet them. Half an hour walk down the malecon takes you to Cosita Rica beach, with wonderful white sand, chairs, umbrellas, restaurant... The hosts were the best ever! They even met us at the bus station and helped us with our bags. Very friendly and kind. They have a couple other places in Puerto Plata; we'd recommend them any day!

Mi familia y yo estuvimos muy a gusto en el apartamento de Ronaldo. El tambien tiene un buen servicio al cliente y es muy familiar. La ubicacion del apartamento es increible. La unica desventaja para nosotros fue que no tiene parqueo privado y debimos parquear en la calle frontal. Y claro que volveriamos a esta propiedad.

todo muy bien limpio el departamento mejor que en las fotos todo cerca me encantó con gusto lo recomiendo el anfitrión muy al pendiente y amable

The best place in town

Apartment was very spacious and clean. Had a great view of the Ocean and beach and was within walking of many restaurants. Trisha was great in showing the apartment and explained how everything worked. Had great security 24 hours in gated area for the safe parking of the car.

It was a really good stay. They we’re very efficient to any of my needs and I would definitely recommend the villa to future guests.

El lugar es mucho más lindo de lo que se ve en imágenes, el ambiente y entorno son super tranquilos, acogedor y sobre todo el personal es muy atento y amable. Para movernos a la playa y restaurantes del complejo solo teníamos que solicitar el carrito de golf. El host siempre estuvo atento a todos mis mensajes e inquietudes, muy atento con nuestra estadía en general. Para mí es ideal para relajarte con amigos y familiares

If you’re looking to visit Puerto Plata and want to have enjoyable stay, packed with activities. You’re in the right place! Definitely good value for your money. The photos don’t do justice to the house! Totally enjoyed our stay and Franchesca’s help was a huge part of it! Her recommendations are superb! We definitely would be coming back and staying at Franchesca’s.

Amazing host & Amazing property the pictures give the property justice but seeing it in real life and all the attention to detail inside and outside of the house was remarkable! Jason provided me with taxis & any information i needed about DR. Would stay here again 100% & recommend this to anybody looking for a luxurious stay in DR thats also very very affordable.

The house was pristine and clean. Its a beautiful house even better than the pictures. The code to unlock the front door was a bit difficult at times I believe the batteries died so after a while it stopped responding and i had to use the backdoor. It would have been nice to have a manual key 🔑 and unfortunately It was very difficult to sleep at night sometimes because of the neighbors dogs right outside the bedroom window barking throughout the night but quiet during the day😵. Sometimes the whole neighborhood of dogs would howl until someone would yell or bang for them to shutup.🤦🏾 The house and host were great but the barking dogs ruined my stay.

El apartamento de danilsa se encontraba céntrico. Es de fácil acceso si quieres ir hacia la calle de las sombrillas y la calle Rosa. Cómo mexicana me sentí como estar en casa en una casa típica mexicana. El alojamiento fue agradable y danilsa estuvo al pendiente de nuestra llegada. La casa tenía las instrucciones para todo, por lo cual fue muy sencillo hospedarnos y utilizar las amenidades. Si algún día volvemos a puerto plata. Sin duda la buscaremos de nuevo ya que se encuentra en una zona buena para acceder a restaurantes y a las zonas de atracción de Puerto Plata.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis ! Elvira est venue nous chercher a l’aéroport et ensuite elle est venue avec nous à l’épicerie . Elvira est vraiment très serviable et a toujours répondu rapidement à nos besoins . Le site est très beau et calme . Je recommande à tous !!

I had a wonderful 2 weeks in this green paradise! The bungalow is very clean and spacious with good illumination . This time of the year you can watch sunrise right from the bed. There are 2 bungalows there which are separated by green fence of plants and a swimming pool, so you have privacy . And it's very peaceful and quiet there all day long . It's just a gem ! Babette was very helpful with every little detail and she went far and beyond by picking me up and dropping me off at the bus station . Very recommended !

Martin is a great host, he invited me out for a drink when I arrived, and on arrival he provided a few nice welcoming drinks and toiletries. The pros of the apartment were the cleanliness, the air conditioning, the swimming pool, the apartment complex is similar to a hotel so there are places on site to get food and drinks. It's also a nice place to meet people as there is a fun atmosphere around the place. Martin the host is also great at responding to your messages and always tries to help out with your questions. The cons are the wifi, the wifi is better in the bedroom but not strong enough in the rest of the apartment if you're going to work. If you're there on holiday then its no problem. The wifi around the complex works great though, by the pool, in the reception etc. And Martin did his best to offer alternative places for me to work. And also having to pay for cleaning the bed sheets was a con or not having them replaced. Overall, I would recommend staying there for sure!

Muy buena estadía y atenciones

Excelente lugar para visitar Puerto Plata, muy buena ubicación, el apartamento es sumamente acogedor, limpio y muy bien distribuido. Cada noche cuando llegas de andar todo el dia, sientes realmente que llegaste a un hogar cómodo y donde puedes descansar. Definitivamente repetiré.

Ottima accomodazione e’ stato come vivere in famiglia Gregory molto disponibile nell’aiutarci a risolve i nostri problemi. Appartamento confortevole estremamente pulito prevede un servizio di pulizia settimanale molto efficiente. Vicinissimo al centro della città e alle spiagge più belle. Grazie a questi vantaggi abbiamo deciso di prolungare la nostra permanenza qui di altri 15 giorni. Grazie infinite Gregory per la tua disponibilità

Oliver’s place is in a very safe environment, clean, modern and comfortable. All appliances, hot water, WiFi, TV and air conditioning works well. It is located in an environment that has a nice clean pool area to relax and a restaurant onsite. Oliver’s place is within walking distance of everything you need and his communication is good if you need any information. I highly recommend Oliver’s place.
