We loved the place so much that we decided to come back after a few days in El Nido. Janis was one of the best hosts @AirBNB, proactive, responsive, easy to communicate with lots of helpful information. The caretakers (Chris & Gene) were always there to help and assist us. The place is so so beautiful! Thank you again for making our vacation unforgettable!

Lugar tranquilo muy cerca de la playa. Internet funciona perfecto. Habitación super limpia, no hay insectos. Aire acondicionado funciona muy bien. Joy, Ahren y Dave han sido super amables y nos han ayudado en todo momento. Recomiendo este alojamiento 100% ademas te ayudan a organizar traslados.

We stayed 3 days It felt like home really good place to relax the staff and owner a really friendly. And welcoming. We were afraid that it is too hot in the tent but with fan it was no problem and you have an nice cooling breeze from the sea

Joy's place is a super quiet and comfortable space, I loved the morning pancakes included in the fixed price, Joy and their staff are so kind and will recommend you a tours around Puerto Princesa, that's a good service if you have no plans yet when arrive.

Great and calm place at the beach in a beautiful apartment with outside kitchen. You wake up via ocean waves in the morning and see the stars at night. Janis is super responsive, friendly and very helpful. All in all perfect stay, thank you so much!

Da wir für 1 Nacht in Puerto Princesa gestrandet sind haben wir ganz spontan nach einer Unterkunft gesucht. Bereits kurz nach der Anfrage hat Jonathan auch schon geantwortet und uns Greg vorbeigeschickt, der uns mit dem TuckTuck direkt zur Unterkunft an den Strand gefahren hat. Ganz entspannt und alle super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft mit diversen Bambus-Booten oder auch dem Zimmer im "Haupthaus" mit direktem Blick auf das Meer. Trotz der offenen und naturbelassenen Unterkunft war alles sehr sauber. Der Nachtmarkt nur wenige Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt war ideal für ein typisch, lokales Abendessen.

This place makes you feel like you’re in paradise after the crowded areas of the island! We initially planned to stay here for five days before heading to El Nido, but then we changed our plans and decided to stay for three more days. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and functional. Since the place is literally on the sea, all rooms have breathtaking views 🌊 Since there’s no nearby facilities, the beach is exclusively for guests. Watching the sunrise over the sea early in the morning and seeing the colorful clouds at sunset was an incredible experience. Despite the beauty of the place, it would be unfair not to mention the caretakers, Gene and Chris. As stated in previous reviews, they elevate this place to the highest level with their hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness! The host Janis was also extremely supportive from start to finish, helping us arrange transportation from Puerto Princesa, being flexible with check-in and check-out, and accommodating our program changes, m

Our stay at Jonathan’s Beach Front Bamboo Cottage was absolutely delightful! From the very start, communication was seamless and precise, making it easy to locate the beautiful property. The serene ambiance and beachfront views immediately set the tone for an unforgettable getaway. A special highlight of our experience was our concierge, Chris. Professional, personable, and courteous, Chris went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Listening to his incredible life story was a unique and memorable experience that added a personal touch to our visit—it was truly worth staying at this charming establishment just to meet him! The staff and local community radiate warmth and joy. Despite coming from humble roots, their happiness is infectious, and they are always willing to share smiles and heartfelt stories with guests. The vibrant atmosphere created by such genuine people made us feel truly welcomed. We loved our stay at Jonathan’s Beach Front Bamboo Cottage!

Everything was better than we expected. Marj answered all our questions with such detailed accuracy. We thought that the location would become a setback; however, we were pleasantly surprised that the location was everything we hoped for that much needed relaxation and privacy. We loved everything about Astoria; especially the food! You may also test your cooking skills since there's a mini kitchenette in all rooms. We will definitely come back!

MUST STAY! This resort is perfect for all ages. The staff service is legendary and the property is beyond gorgeous.

We had the best time during this stay! The hosts, Eli and Pascal, as well as their entire team were so kind welcoming and fun. The other guests made the stay as well. While our unit was private, quaint and cute, we still joined everyone else for meals and a boat excursion during our stay. The property is beautiful and well kept. It is quite removed and no service, but we loved that and there are outlets and wifi available in the common area if needed. Eli helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport, and the taxi was able to make a couple stops on the way. We enjoyed the wildlife, walking the beach, the food, company, the hosts and overall would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a more removed and peaceful experience.

A Slice of Paradise From the moment my partner and I stepped into this incredible place, we knew we were in for something special. This wasn't just a place to stay; it felt like coming home to an oasis of peace, warmth, and genuine kindness. Every morning we felt so lucky to be there. Waking up to the sound of birds singing and the sound of the sea.. Reminding us that we were in a sanctuary far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I still miss the incredible meals ! Each dish was a celebration of flavors, crafted with love and care. The hosts, they were truly one of the highlights of our stay. Their warmth and hospitality were unparalleled. Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of magical. We found a peace we didn’t know we needed and left with hearts full of joy. We hope to one day be able to come back ! Truly magical ! We had an amazing time at Soulcamp in Palawan. The perfect place to have a time out in nature, sourrounded by the sea, a lot of chicken, the family dogs. Eli and Pascale were outstanding hosts which only tried to make our stay as accomodating, beautiful and relaxing as possible. In the little Soulcamp restaurant is possible to have all 3 meals a day, all freshly cooked, mostly vegetarian and homemade and with a lot of love! They organized our pickup in puerto princessa and within the whole journey communication was great. It‘s a great place for all nature lover, animal friendly people. We would love to be back any time!

Unfortunately my wife was ill so we had to go somewhere with a bathroom in the room, but jonathan was very accomodating and helpful with everything & we still booked our tour through him. Only thing i would say is if the weathers bad the waves move the room a little. Nice quiet spot tho
