Excelente lugar para hospedarse, muy limpio, excelente atencion por parte del personal de recepcion. Los desayunos muy ricos y bastos asi como una buena vista en la terraza.

El lugar es muy agradable, tiene una psicina grande con trampolin y zona profunda, una zona intermedia y chapoteadero, además de jacuzzi. El personal es muy amable. El desayuno sencillo pero bien, fruta y jugos frescos, pan tostado y café. Sin duda repetiría.

Quienes atendieron fueron Juan Carlos y Reyna muy amables, me gusto que todo muy limpio y muy atentos. solo que la playa no era lo que esperaba, mucha piedra

La habitación me encantó!, el baño también con productos de calidad. Todo muy limpio. No me pude quedar al desayuno, pero sin duda regresaré. El único inconveniente, si se pudiera llamar asi, fue escuchar gringos en el jardín afuera de mi habitación hablar muy fuerte por un rato, cuando se fueron pude descansar agusto ☺️

Amenities as advertised. You need to take 2-3 stairs to get to your room. Easy keyless access to the room and building. Great host and a caring couple. Guillermo goes out of the way to help and answer any questions. Had a pleasant stay.

Guillermo was an exceptional host. Always available and the space was very welcoming and safe. Guillermo's wife served an unexpected lovely Mexican breakfast that was delicious. I will definitely rebook and highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! We had an incredible time and enjoyed resting for a few days. The property is truly stunning and everyone was so kind. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed while traveling in Mexico. I had a wonderful experience at Tío Guillermo’s place. The room was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the supermarket, shops, and restaurants. Señor Guillermo and Señora Veronica were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to provide excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Anytime I needed something, they were available and happy to help. As a digital nomad, I stayed for a month, and it was an amazing experience. I will definitely book again the next time I visit Puerto Vallarta.

We had a great time. The views were amazing, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food at the hotel was good. The instructions on how to get to the hotel were very helpful and clear.

Nice pool, friendly hosts, a lot of places to eat nearby, the beach is just 1 or 2 minutes from walking distance. Very much worth your money. Bring yourself a beach umbrella, you will want to use one when at the rooftop, and also at the beach. Other hotels charge you insane rates because of location or amenities offered, but Villa Mercedes is better located than many other popular places like PiñataPV or Posada de Roger, while being cheaper. I felt like the owners here are honest people, not trying to take advantage of tourists. Just give it a try, I did.

This beautiful riverside boutique hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, with everything you need close by. The staff was amazing—so helpful and personable, making my stay extra special. I loved starting my mornings with yoga in the courtyard next to the river—it was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were not only beautiful but also very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!

Lugar muy tranquilo y agradable, cuentan con mascotas que son muy dóciles y conviven muy bien con la gente. Un hostal cómodo, la cocina es pequeña pero tiene lo necesario para cocinar algo sencillo, en los alrededores hay súper y tiendita para lo que necesites.

Oscar is a wonderful host and person. He was responsive to all of our requests. The house is beautiful and spacious, the beds are wonderful! You can tell he has put a lot of work into making it a great place to stay, such as great linens, the kitchen is great. Lots of new appliances like toaster oven, blender, pots and pans. From other stays in Puerto Vallarta I can tell you this is a gem home! Lots of shopping near by, Costco and LaComer. I can’t think of anything negative to say or suggestions to make it better. I encourage everyone to check it out. Bravo to Oscar who is now a friend. Due to his limited English Oscar has a good friend who will help you communicate with him, Maria was so helpful and kind.
