We had such an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The hosts are super kind, easy to talk to, and very responsive. They give very clear instructions and make check in and check out a breeze. The cabin was spotless and welcoming. We were given great recommendations for the area as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our experience! Hot tub worked well, sitting out back was so serene and peaceful, saw lots of wildlife in the area. Home itself is clean and cozy, we enjoyed watching movies by the fire.

I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

My wife and I came up for a three day Veterans Day weekend with our dogs. This peaceful retreat was exactly what the doctor ordered. Beautiful, peaceful, & extremely relaxing. We enjoyed our stay so much, we didn't want the weekend to end...so we extended our booking another night. We're definitely coming back to this amazing location again. Our cabin, Shaman's Cure was cute, rustic, well equipped and exactly as described and pictured. Our dogs loved hanging outside on the covered porch and along the river bank while we had nightly fires in the fire pit, and even cooked some steaks over the open flame.

The New River house was very comfortable and clean. The decorations were lovely. Enjoyed the river view and the rocking chair on porch. Hostess was very nice and had all information we needed well in advance. We would definitely return.

Our Family had an amazing mountain retreat at this property this past weekend. The house was very quaint and clean. It was very bright and cheerful. We had a lot of fun playing air hockey and pool as well. We would definitely visit here again and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the landscape and river. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you for hosting us!

This is the perfect place for two couples and their kids. We weren't looking for a home base so we could do other things; the location was the destination, and it did not disappoint. Lots of things to do in the house, not the least of which was enjoy the view. Lots of room, up to date bathrooms, comfortable beds. There was one small hiccup, and that was that the gas fireplace would not stay on for more than a few minutes. We were there on a particularly cold weekend, and it would have been nice to have the fire going, but it was not a dealbreaker by any means. Even with the fireplace off the table, we'd still highly recommend this place. Can't wait to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the deck!

We had a fantastic stay. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean, the location was perfect for exploring Radford and not too far from VT. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful.

Stunning house in a stunning location. Well laid out and we would return with no more than a couple of books to read on the covered porch with the great view.

My first stay at The Cabin and definitely plan on returning! It was better than the pictures. Location is very special along with the perfectly decorated cabin. We loved this place! It was so peaceful to be on the water and our dog couldn’t get enough of swimming in the river. It’s very easy to get to. The screened porch was fantastic! The only time we were inside was to sleep!!

The cabin was as described, quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The house was clean, and the kitchen had great amenities. The outdoor fire pit was a plus, and the sound of the creek. This place is an absolute gem. We will be back!! Thank you Hannah and Kurt for a wonderful stay!!

We wanted a relaxing weekend getaway to enjoy some family time and R&R. The remoteness of the cabin was perfect for that. Although we recommend arriving in the daytime, it was dark when we got there and that single lane road going in was a tad scary. Lol The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The amenities were spot on. There was plenty of room to accommodate our crew (2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog). The hot tub was great and we enjoyed sitting around the table playing games and sharing laughs. Definitely a nice relaxing weekend spent making memories!

If a peaceful, quiet comfy, home-like cabin in the woods by a creek about 15 mins from Blacksburg/Virginia Tech is what you're looking for, go no further! This one room cabin (separate kitchen and bathroom) was the perfect antidote at the end of the day to full, busy days visiting VT for our son. Very clean, home-like decor, private full kitchen and bathroom with sweet porch facing the woods and creek. Cabin is stand-alone between 2 small homes on lots of land and not a peep from the neighbors, though we knew they were on hand should we need anything. If this is what you're looking for and you're lucky enough to find available dates, don't hesitate to push that confirm button!
