Loved our stay with Gina. We had 2 families coming to check out the Virginia Tech campus. Radford is a short drive from Blacksburg and has 4 grocery stores. The house was easy to find, good parking, huge kitchen, nice dining room, multiple sitting areas and enough places to plug in all our phones!! The best part was the amazing fire pit in the side yard. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone coming to this part of VA with a crowd of people.

this house was so lovely on the shores of beautiful Claytor Lake. it's obvious that the area was damaged heavily from recent hurricane. Sam's house and yard was cleaned up beautifully and was pristine. Some of the surrounding areas have not gotten to that level of recovery. Hats off to Sam for the work they have done. it was great to be able to access great walking ansld biking trails right across the street!

We gathered here with family from NC, GA, and PA a few days after Christmas. There were 12 of us and one pet and ages ranged from 16-81 and there was plenty of space for everyone in this large home. Being winter we couldn’t take advantage of activities on the lake but there were plenty of board games and a game room that were well enjoyed by all. We highly recommend this home and Chris is a friendly and helpful host.

While our primary reason for travel was swim competitions at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center, this property offered a truly exceptional and welcome respite. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the cleanliness and the overall sense of tranquility, providing a perfect counterbalance to the intensity of the competitions. It truly felt like the comforts of home, with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. The beautiful views were a particular highlight, offering a stunning backdrop that allowed us to unwind and recharge. It was hard to leave!

We had a great time staying here. It was the perfect setting to convene three households with small children. The open floorplan was great to let the kids run around. Also, they loved the bunkbeds! The game room in the basement gave us all something to do during one day of bad weather. The view from the deck out onto the lake is picturesque. Rodney and Company were incredible hosts. Very responsive. Also, the home was delivered to us in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful lake house! We hope to come back next year!

Great place to stay - great value. Very cozy, super clean, very spacious - great for big families with kids. Super hosts were very responsive and friendly. Went the extra mile to make our stay easy and comfortable. The kids (and Dad) enjoyed the little snacks and cold drinks when we arrived. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again if we come back to Radford / Blacksburg area.

This cottage was the absolute perfect spot to get away from the hustle of a very busy VT student event this weekend. About a 40 min drive through peaceful hillside from the school, well worth the extra drive to have a gorgeous view and a comfortable clean space to spend a couple of nights. The host thought of everything, from a well stocked kitchen, clean linens, even snacks. Super responsive communication. Easy check out process. We will definitely stay again when visiting our Hokie!!!

Beautiful home and very spacious. Was perfect for our big family. We made great memories! We spent the first day playing in the snow, and then warmed up by one of 3 fire places. Crystals home was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is clean and smells new. Has most of what you need. Would have been great if it had tissues and a toaster. Other than what we had what we needed. Great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

This little cabin is so cute. Peaceful environment. Loved the porch and fenced in yard for our dog.

I cannot put into words how great this stay was! The place is perfectly situated, super clean and welcoming, and completely stocked with anything you would ever need! I had a fantastic time staying there and would recommend it to everyone! I will be back, guaranteed! Thank you guys so much!

Amanda’s place was great. My parents stayed there for my school event. They felt very comfortable and happy to rent the cottage. She was very responsive, helpful and kind.

We get together with our friends and their children every year around Thanksgiving for a Friendsgiving. We met in college (VT) so this year we decided to attend the VT vs UVA game together. The cabin was great. Overall, we’d recommend this place to stay just a short while from VT.

I LOVED Amandas place!!!! Clean, quiet and comfortable. Will be back again one day.

This was such a charming little place to stay! It’s even cuter in person. It was very cold when I stayed and I was worried it would be tough to heat a bus but the heater was awesome and worked perfectly! The hosts were extremely kind and hospitable, very grateful for a great stay here!

It was a very nice stay with beautiful views. I am thinking about visiting the area again and if I do, I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here at Fisherman’s Haven! Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful scenery. Came to fish mainly but didn’t catch anything. Still had a great time laying out on dock & going out in canoe!

Great place to stay for the weekend and easy drive to Virginia Tech to see our daughter. Easy check in and great directions & communication from host.

I've fished the upper New River for more than 20 years. Michael's house is right across the river from the boat landing . . . and he has his own boat landing. We were looking forward to staying at his place but Hurricane Helene came through and flooded everything. Michael volunteered to give us a full refund because of the weather and river conditions. We really appreciated his offer and took him up on it. I had the money back on my credit card in a very short amount of time. I give him an A+ as a host!
