Hermosa casa, con todo lo que uno necesita para no querer salir, pudimos observar un atardecer hermoso desde el balcón, el jacuzzi estuvo espectacular, la casa cuenta con todo lo que necesitas para una estancia de lujo. Juan Gabriel y Ana tuvieron una excelente comunicación. Tomar en cuenta es que si tienes un sueño ligero es recomendable llevar tapones para los oídos ya que hay una carretera que pasa cerca y se tiende a oír el ruido de los vehículos.

Was für ein magischer Ort! Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit Liebe (für's Detail) gepflegt, sehr sauber. Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass es sich um ein Herzensprojekt handelt! Das Haus ist superpraktisch eingerichtet, mit Allem was man braucht (inkl. auch in der Küche), wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung und Landschaft sind einmalig. Swin ist sehr gut erreichbar und nimmt sich Zeit, alle möglichen Fragen zu beantworten sowie auch, um Tips zu erteilen. Swin & Familie sind sehr hilfsbereit. Bereichernder und sehr wohlwollender Austausch. Wir sind eine Woche geblieben und jeder Tag davon hat sich gelohnt! Danke euch von Herzen für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

Felipe and Stephen’s space was absolutely fantastic! We felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed into the home. Everything was just right for us, and would recommend this relaxing spot to anyone looking for an urban retreat!

Hébergement agréable, avec tout le confort nécessaire. la vue est juste magnifique ! Au coeur de la nature et de sentiers de randonnée très agréable. L'accès à la piscine partagée est un vrai plus. Très bonne situation géographique proche des points d'intérêt du secteur de Uvita. Accès au logement via un chemin de terre cabossé mais sans difficulté particulière avec un SUV. Je recommande sans problème 👍

We loved our 2 week stay at Teal's place. Chandra, the house manager met us with a warm welcome, and gave us helpful tour. She was an invaluable resource for recommendations on activities, and local cuisine. The surroundings were beautiful and serene, and we saw a multitude of wildlife. The house was spacious for our family of 5, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. Despite visiting in the summer, the temperature was breezy and comfortable. The home was beautifully decorated, and everything was maintained. We would definitely visit again!

Esta casita es un sueño, era justo lo que necesitábamos para renovar energías, en medio de una finca con vistas preciosas y un jardín hermoso. El diseño te enamora, cada detalle te hace sentir en casa, además esta full equipada y hasta cuenta con asador de gas. No puedo dejar de mencionar a Oso el perro guía que nos acompaño mientras caminamos por la finca y a Doña Merari que fue muy amable y siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades al igual que doña Vera. Volvería con mi familia sin pensarlo.

Great space, wonderful views and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were nice and cozy. Stopped there as a half way point to the Caribbean coast. Was a tad difficult finding, but it was in the dark and once we got to Aquarius and looked at the pictures we got there no problem. Host was responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house.

One of the best accommodations/locations we’ve stayed in and hope to return one day! Quiet, private, stylish. Tastefully decorated with amazing views from the terrace where we began each day with coffee and enjoyed beautiful sunsets each night. Nelson was kind, responsive and helped set up our night walk at El Terruño de los Toros which we highly recommend. Look no further, book this mountain retreat for your stay!

Excelente estadia, lugar cerca de bastantes playas, lugar super privado perfecto para relajarse y descansar. La comunicación excelente, incluso nos permitieron hacer late check out lo cual se agradece mucho ya que íbamos con un bebé.

Our stay at Marcana Occidents was a great highlight of our trip in Costa Rica. Maik and his family are incredible people and they welcomed us to their place like if we were family! Emma, a young child was the sweetest and shared lots of time with our girls! They were sad to leave after 2 days! Anita and Marcos are extremely kind and even made a fire with us one night while we were staring at the moon and chat about life! Yustan was a great guide to the farm and explained us everything they do while making us discovering the surroundings and providing tips on what to do! The cabin is very rural (kind of a fancy glamping), that said the stay was great for us! We would totally go back!

The view off Xinia’s deck was stunning and I had very good birding from her deck. In fact I identified over 50 species of birds on her property. My month at her place couldn’t have been better. The property with all Xinia’s plants, the cows, the Guinea fowl, dogs and cats was charming and peaceful. The cabin was well equipped and clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend her place and hope to return sometime in the future.

Debbie's guest house was even nicer than the beautiful pictures. It was easy to find the property. The driveway is long and up hill. The dogs were friendly and a delight to have around. The cattle could be seen from a distance. There are lovely views from the patio and upstairs room. In the evening, a cool breeze came through the bedroom windows. We even saw a macaw fly by. The pool is refreshing. Debbie was a delight to talk with! She made us a delicious evening meal and served it on the guesthouse patio as the sun set. The kitchen is fulling stocked! There was even fresh eggs and vegetables for us in the frig. This house is so relaxing and welcoming. Small towns are nearby. We drove about an hour to Carara National Park and Jaco Beach. Another day we toured "La Casa del Alto Tour Rural." I highly recommend staying at Debbie's place!

We absolutely loved our stay here, we honestly wanted to stay forever. Sitting on the terrace at sunset was so peaceful, and spotting birds in the mornings was fun. We watched toucans while we ate breakfast one morning! I would love to come back here one day, and would recommend this place to everybody. It’s beautifully decorated and looked after, with great amenities. The loveliest dogs in the world came to meet us when we arrived and sometimes popped up to say hello! They were a great bonus.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Cabaña. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist hervorragend, der Balkon mit dem Hängekorb war super. Abends ist ein Moskitonetz gegen Käfer, Heuschrecken, Moskitos etc. sinnvoll. Meine Frau ist nicht ganz so mit der Unterkunft warm geworden wie ich, was vor allem an unserer Anreise (im Dunkeln) lag, die die Zufahrt (4x4 empfehlenswert) noch komplizierter scheinen ließ als sie es war und unser Empfang von vielen Käfern vor der Hütte begleitet war.

A casinha parece ter saído de uma revista de decoração sofisticada! Tudo muito bonito, roupas de cama maravilhosas e o espaço externo é ótimo também! Amamos nossa estadia! Único ponto foi o ventilador do quarto ser fraco e passamos um pouco de calor durante a tarde… mas a noite é bem friozinho!

Dit huis is gewoon geweldig. Alles wat je nodig hebt en nog veel meer. Alle kruiden en benodigdheden die je nodig hebt in een keuken zijn aanwezig. Volledig privé en zeer rustig met een heel veel dieren en vogels die men kan bewonderen. Mary is een uitstekende gastvrouw die er alles aan doet om het naar je zin te maken. Ook stonden er 6 koude biertjes in de frigo zodat we meteen iets konden drinken bij aankomst. Ik raad het huis ten zeerste aan en wij komen zeker nog eens terug

This Airbnb is a nature lover's dream. Beside the bedroom and bathroom, everything is outside! We enjoyed cooking, reading, and playing cards outside on the covered patio. There are lots of birds and lizards to see and the landscaping is beautiful. We used the pool daily, which is in a very cute area. The location is close to downtown Sarchi. Alonso was very responsive to everything we needed.

My family and I have stayed in many Airbnbs in the US and abroad and Nicole’s home was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! We enjoyed the house itself with a wonderful pool and spacious rooms, the incredible setting replete with wildlife and expansive sunsets, easy access to primary forest with a veritable water park, beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Nicole was genuine, kind and very responsive. We hope to return to CR soon and there’s little doubt where we plan (hope) to stay again. Muchas Gracious Nicole!

This was an excellent place to stay for the second half of our first Costa Rican adventure. The house and the separate casita were perfect for our family of seven adults. The backyard is a private, tropical oasis. We spent most of our time while at the house on the spacious, covered patio or in the refreshing plunge pool. The location is great for access to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants. Beaches are just a short drive away. The host, Aaron, was helpful and responsive. We hope to return in the future!

You'd have to search a long, long time to find a more helpful, generous, and gracious hostess than Laura. She went out of her way to help us with a problem we had in getting to her place. There was a bowl of fresh fruit harvested from her property waiting for us in the kitchen, and Laura had put four fresh coconuts in the fridge, already husked and ready for us tothe cold milk. Laura also included us in a nice birthday cookout for one of the men who works there. This is a great place to rest and recuperate from traveling. The house is beautifully built and very comfortable. The king-size bed and the walk-in shower are luxurious. The washer & dryer allowed us to leave with clean clothes in our suitcases. The nights were quiet; the stars and the sound of the river were wonderful. We had a car but never left the property. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I've seen in Airbnb rentals and there was coffee & tea. We could have lived for several days on the items in the pantry.

Excelente alojamiento, muy bien ubicado cerca de Atenas, en un lugar alto, tranquilo y fresco. Cuenta con piscina y gimnasio común, es genial! Y además Vera es una mujer muy atenta y nos cuidó muy bien. Volveremos seguro!
