We needed somewhere to stay for a really close family funeral of my childrens father. . It was also half term and we now live 260 miles away from West Dorset where we used to live. We needed somewhere we could reflect quietly, be close to nature, be close to the town for friends and a work visit. The house is beautiful, clean, thoughtfully stocked and private eirhout feeling isolate. communication was great and we would highly recommend. Thanks!

We had a wonderful break at this beautiful place, waking to the dawn chorus every day, listening to the owls in the evening, and even saw a couple of deer in the garden, absolutely beautiful. The spa was lovely, and was such a great experience to have it to ourselves, we felt very relaxed after our long weekend stay. Fordingbridge not far to eat and drink/shop for groceries, and beautiful New Forest walks only a few minutes in the car, would highly recommend, thank you so much… and the welcome cake was lovely too!

A perfect location for our short break in Somerset with 2 dogs. The villa is quirky, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lots of space for families with a beautiful garden, sun room and great kitchen. Lovely walks nearby and we walked to the local restaurant the first evening for a takeaway. Took a total of 8 mins there and back! A great base for visiting the Mendips, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and Blagdon. A stones throw from Wookey Hole also, although we didn’t visit this time. I would really recommend this beautiful place. If you want to either kick back and relax, or walk and walk and walk - then this is the place for you. Thank you so much. We’d love to return if you’ll have us!

Mooi verblijf in verbouwde stallen, heerlijk rustig en landelijk met rondlopende kippen, geiten, schapen, etc. Veel bezienswaardigheden in de buurt zoals Salisbury, Avebury en Stonehenge.

The whole cottage was lovely and had everything that we could need. The use of garden and the kids toys, books and dvds were a great touch and our toddler also absolutely loved meeting the chickens! I would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area again, and Jo was also very proactive and responsive with messages. Absolutely stress free stay!

A Perfect Stay for My Daughter and Me!** We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host was super responsive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The property was exactly as described, and the highlight of our trip was seeing the animals on-site. My daughter was over the moon with excitement—she couldn’t stop talking about them! Unfortunately, due to our travel plans, we didn’t get enough time to feed the animals, but that didn’t take away from how magical the experience was for her. When we were leaving, she said, “I love this place and want to stay here again!” That says it all.

we loved our stay at manor farm. the house was a treasure trove of beautiful old beams, and architectural features and fun stuff for kids and adults alike. I loved cooking on the aga and playing the piano! way bigger than expected and such a lovely peaceful location. we didn't want to leave

Had a lovely stay for 3 nights in February - Andrea was super accommodating about check-in and made it very easy, welcoming, and unstressful. The accommodation was perfect for us, very clean and surprisingly well-equipped given its size - and the donkeys, horses, and sheep (and emu eggs - !) were a huge hit with children! Thank you Andrea!

The Pig House was a delight to stay in, and Cat was a very helpful host - she gave very clear instructions which made it super easy to find the property, and was clean and well thought out. A lovely welcome pack was provided even for a last-minute booking, and this was the perfect place to unwind for the weekend, with lots of things within half an hour of the property. The under-floor heating was very effective and we also enjoyed the log burner on a very rainy Sunday!

Thank you so much for our stay, Paula! We absolutely adored the beautiful bungalow. Waking up to the horses and unwinding by the fire in the evenings was such a treat. You've truly thought of everything – all the kitchen essentials, milk, tea, and coffee on arrival, plus Netflix on the TV! My dog was the most relaxed he's ever been on holiday and really enjoyed the fire too. Oh, and the bedding smelled amazing! We can't wait to come back. X

Amazing stay, the accomodation and surroundings are super wholesome, they have thought of everything to make your stay easy and peaceful. There was a pint of milk and all the makings for hot drinks. Cooking equipment and the shower is super enjoyable. The hot tub was lush, we accidentally turned it down so it took a while to heat back up the following day so be aware (our fault). And there was 4 of us that stayed, the pull out bed is not overly comfortable but the main bed is lovely! I would 100% return. Thank you so much for a great stay and let us check out later at no extra cost. We had a blast :)

The Potting Shed suited us well. It’s location is up a country lane, not too far from the main road. There are many places of interest within driving distance, though watch out for some of the lanes. The house is comfortable and warm. There are enough facilities for a short stay. Tamzin is very responsive and answers all questions immediately.

We needed somewhere to stay for a few months as our house was going through the conveyancing process. The Annex at Maple Cottage was a fantastic temporary home. Dorothy and Ian were excellent hosts; always available but never intrusive. The Annex was well furnished and supplied. Always warm,, superb TV and great internet. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Absolutely stunning location. The hut was perfect, clean and tidy with everything you could need. The surroundings were lovely, the area quiet and only a short distance to Swanage Jefferson and Kevin were helpful and responsive.

What a beautiful place to stay! We felt right at home & loved relaxing here for a few days. The views are wonderful & the large window is perfect for watching the wildlife. The host very kindly allowed us to check in early & leave late which was very kind too! The freshly baked sourdough & treats were also a sweet touch. A wonderful cottage that we would love to return to!

We had a lovely stay at the bungalow. Very peaceful and comfortable and only a short drive to Ringwood and good walking spots. Would recommend

We stayed for 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer. The property is lovely, with two sitting rooms and very comfortable beds and bathrooms. It’s nicely decorated with real individuality. There’s space for wet coats and boots and everything you could wish for. We loved that the place feels so remote yet is relatively easy to get to (brilliant directions and info from Jossi beforehand made everything so much easier). And it’s close to many interesting places to visit. It’s dog-friendly but no enclosed garden so our pup needed to go out on her lead. The villages nearby are lovely to stroll around and we had a delicious lunch in the Compasses. The icing on the cake - honey and the log-burner - thanks for the fresh supply of logs. It made our rainy, gusty visit so cosy!

We loved our amazing stay with Martin! Everything was exactly as described! Hot tub was clean and very warm! WiFi was very fast and was able to stream various platforms! We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

The Cider Barn is stunning - we think it is actually much better than the photos! The views from the barn are incredible, the barn was spacious (perfect for a family of 4), the shower was amazing and the beds incredibly comfy. The barn was beautifully furnished and had a great kitchen too with everything we needed. The kids loved hiding away up in the mezzanine while we chilled out in front of the woodburner. No noise, starry skies and the friendliest, furry sheep made for a perfect Dorset break. We loved being so close to all the shops and cafes of Bridport, but also to the amazing fossil beach at Charmouth where we spent a lot of time. We also loved the amazing play area and cliffs at West Bay. Thank you Eddy and Caroline for such a perfect, restorative break by the sea :)

Third time staying here and just what we needed. Great location. Love the fresh eggs available to buy!

Beautiful house with plenty of space, hosts are very helpful and also respectful, had an amazing time away for my mums hen do is a perfect place for a gathering with friends and family.
