40 Winks is so aptly named. It’s a cosy little annexe. It’s beautifully furnished and has everything you need - a well equipped kitchen, a super comfortable bed with lovely fresh linen and a modern shower room with toiletries. Sharne was very responsive, gave us great tips on where to explore nearby and easy instructions on how to find the house. We had a lovely stay (wish it were longer) and would recommend to anyone who is visiting the area. Castle Hill is nearby and worth a romp up the hill to see and a great garden centre cafe who do amazing breakfasts !

Brendan was super helpful with any questions I had regarding access to the property and parking in the area. The flat was just what we were looking for, couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Short walk to shops, bars and pubs and a short drive to the beach.

Although I agree with some previous comments about some updating being needed it catered for my needs. The bedroom/lounge was comfortable and roomy. The shower had been just redone and well with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking within the pub carpark gave me peace of mind. Overall I had an enjoyable stay a stones throw from the famous Gold Hill. Daniel is a very friendly host and always went the extra mile with any request. Recommended.

Exactly what I needed for a short work trip. Super centrally located, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely little garden to decompress! Charlotte was also very helpful and warm, while not overloading me with info/rules etc. so I felt comfortable in the space quickly - I'd certainly stay again!

Stayed for my partners bday & was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to navigate from the start. Instructions were clear & straight forward , no way you couldn’t understand. Place was freshly clean & looked just like the pictures. I cooked whilst staying and everything was easy to find. Additionally the private patio was a great touch , we ate breakfast & caught the breeze. I would definitely stay again. A home away from home.

Great quiet location with a 10 minute walk in Bridport town centre. On road parking, ok but could be tricky. Very easy access into the flat which was very quirky, great decor, lovely orangery to sit in. It was lovely to sit at the dining room table by the window, bathed in sunlight, eating breakfast. Would definitely stsy here again.

Great last minute stay. Lia was a great host and let us check in early. The space was very clean and easily accessible. Good location just outside of Glastonbury. Would stay again!

Clean, comfortable and compact. Peaceful surroundings but convenient for visiting the local area. Good food pub along the road.

We had a pleasant stay at this property. The environment and facilities were excellent, exactly as shown in the photos, which was very reassuring. The location is highly convenient, with shops nearby and close proximity to the pier for easy access to the Isle of Wight. However, we did encounter some issues during our stay. Mobile network coverage in the area is not very good, and the broadband was malfunctioning at the time. That said, the management team handled the situation promptly and actively, providing us with temporary network access to minimize disruption. Additionally, the host and management team went above and beyond by offering compensation for the inconvenience, showing great accountability and responsibility. Their proactive and considerate approach left a positive impression on us. Overall, despite the challenges, their excellent service and the property’s great features made the stay enjoyable.

Absolutely delightful! Our two-night stay at the lodge was just what Mothers Day should be. The scenery was simply beautiful, offering a truly peaceful escape. A definite highlight was meeting Minstrel, the friendly pony, who clearly has a weakness for carrots! The entire experience was wonderfully relaxed, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this idyllic retreat to anyone seeking a countryside escape.

Stephanie is a great host and was proactive whenever we needed her. All her instructions were crystal clear and the property was very clean and the rooms and amenities were exactly as described. Thanks a lot Stephanie for being such a humble and a great host.

Beautiful house and very clean. Emily was extremely proactive, sympathetic and accommodating when we needed an emergency linen wash for my daughter 🫣 She arranged for everything to be collected, tumble dried and returned well before bedtime so thank you!

This is a beautiful annex in a pretty town - the location was perfect for us in the festive period. Everything was squeaky clean and there was were some lovely features to make the space personal and cosy. The only difference from our expectations was the lack of a hob/cooker - seeing the place had a kitchen we brought all the bits for cooked breakfasts, but the cooking equipment is a toaster, kettle and combi microwave. Luckily there were nice cafes nearby and we had a lovely stay, thank you!

The stay was absolutely wonderful and completely hassle-free. The property was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the host was excellent, and they were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience. Truly a fantastic place to stay!

This was easily the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. Harriet and Steve were just wonderful, warm and supporting. They were so great with our dog (who wouldn't want to leave on our last day) , left loads of goodies for us in the annex including fresh farm eggs from a neighbouring farm and even invited us to use their garden for breakfast. On our last night, we sat at the fire together, just chatting and enjoying each other's company. I couldn't recommend the place more highly - they were the most proactive in anticipating our needs and ridiculously generous. We will definitely be back!

Rie’s Retreat is magical. I, how the retreat for 10 women here, and it was idyllic. Her home is spacious, beautiful, peaceful and full of space to reflect and connect, including the most beautiful gardens with dozens of different flowers growing. Her space is filled with positive energy, you can feel the healing powers on the land. And Rie is incredible! First, she is so friendly, personable, and fun! She is also so helpful about everything you need, whether it’s recommendations for activities, or transportation or grocery shopping. She is also an incredible chef, and I highly recommend having her cook your meals for you, as she will make you feel so well fed, pampered, and taken care of. Her meals are healthy and delicious! Even her healthy continental breakfast and snacks are amazing! We all loved the space and the beauty. It’s so close to town and to all Glastonbury sites. I will definitely bring groups of women back here, as Rie is now a friend and sister to us all.

My stay at Ryan’s accommodation was exactly what I needed. The quality of the accommodation was excellent. Every thing I could need was thought through with detail. The location was ideal to the beach and local areas. I worked round the parking as it was first come first serve but not a problem.

Amazing little flat. So close to the beach and great bars and restaurants. Perfect location. Road itself was very quiet. Comfortable sofa bed as well as the bed. Ben was a fantastic host and quick to respond to any queries. Had a problem with hot water and he sorted it quickly. Highly recommend.

A short notice walking weekend in the New Forest in August meant accommodation was scarce but I found this little gem on Airbnb which turned out to be just 10 minutes from our walking start point in Godsall. After a 14 mile hike on Saturday I was pleased it was just 10 minutes drive to my accommodation and even better that the shower was hot and the kitchen equipped so I could heat up an evening meal. Lovely and peaceful, very pretty spot through the garden. Good internet signal and tv I could watch Netflix and BBCiplayer on, as well as lots of books to read from. The bed was very comfy as well. Unfortunately I didn’t spend long at the cottage as we walked both days but it,s a great spot and good value option for solo travellers.

A lovely location with a fantastic and responsive host. We loved our long weekend here, great space for all of us and we could not have asked for more. Would absolutely stay again.
