Great location for a fun lake beach weekend! We had 4 families with kids, plenty of room for all to sleep and play. Yard is fantastic, beach was awesome. The area is so peaceful and quiet, great change of pace from the city.

This house was SPOTLESS and had all listed amenities. Plenty of hot water, cold A/C, and the softest sheets and towels! The sunrise off the back dock in the mornings is beautiful and it’s a peaceful retreat, surrounded with nature and wildlife. If you fish, this is such a great spot! The decor is really cute with plenty of places to relax, eat, watch tv, sun, read, or work remotely—No problems with internet connections. Hosts are very responsive but instructions for check-in and check-out are clear and easy. I think my stress level went down the minute I pulled in the driveway and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I hope to return to this little house on the river in the future. One of my favorite all-time get-aways!

This place was great! The house was clean and stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels. The view is amazing! We had so much fun fishing right from the seawall and watching the birds and boats go by. Stunning sunsets. It’s quiet and peaceful and a great place to getaway and disconnect (only if you want, the internet connection was strong). The house is seemingly secluded but there’s quick access to grocery stores and quaint restaurants. Easy access to a handful of springs and riding trails for your 4-wheelers etc. The Ocala national forest is truly beautiful! If in the area we’d definitely come back and stay again!

Huge place, very comfortable, outside space was wonderful. Sitting on the deck listening to the birds was great. Neighbors were very friendly and it was nice to walk around the lake nearly every day. It is exactly as described. This is their camp so it’s not fancy and some of the floors are a bit uneven or saggy. But it was very livable and a nice place to stay. Victoria was very responsive any time we messaged her. Would definitely recommend.

We had a family reunion on one day of our week long stay and this place was PERFECT for that!! Everyone in our family was comfortable, had plenty of space to move around plus plenty of seating for 20 people... they didnt all stay there, but the day was filled with fun, family and a great place to spend it in....We really enjoyed the dock and close proximity to renting pontoon boats to go out on the lake or river for fishing.... We hope to enjoy this property again in the future for some relaxing family time... Thanks Megan for everything!!

Natascha and Dave were extremely helpful describing the wonderful places along the Saint Johns River. The accommodations were one of the best we have experienced. Also, very helpful with providing information on boating and fishing and the best scenery in the area.

My husband and I took our 14 year old grandson on a mini vacation to fish. We were accompanied with my elderly parents. This place is absolutely wonderful. We spend so much time outside on the covered dock. Even in the evenings, my husband and grandson would fish until after 11:00 PM as there are lights on the dock. We caught some really big fish too. The house was also very comfortable with everything you need included in the kitchen. We brought food with us with the intentions of eating dinner out each evening. We were having so much fun that we decided to stay in (and not dine out with the exception of one evening.) This place is good for ALL ages. Thank you Dori and John for your rapid response anytime we had questions (before and after we checked in!!) We highly recommend this place.

A group of us come to ONF annually for a weekend Jeep trip and this is the 1st time staying at Faye’s place. It was absolutely perfect for us! Loved the uniqueness of the place. We are already planning our trip for next year and plan on renting Faye’s place again.

Very nice, very clean. The town was super quiet but it was lovely. Lake is just a couple blocks to walk with a nice dock and pavilion close by. Would definitely stay here again.

The home was well kept and clean! The patio was comfortable and had a beautiful view overlooking the pool, grill/seating area, and the water! We enjoyed several evenings of watching the sunset. It looks to be a community condo, that came with 5 to 6 gas grills for everyone to use. The home came with a medium size cooler we were able to use for our boating trip that was extremely handy. My family and I definitely recommend Julie's home for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Was a very beautiful place definitely peaceful with a great view of the lake. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a very peaceful getaway with great views. It was very easy access in and out with a pretty good size yard for activities, kayaking, cornhole, etc..

Great central location for us to explore natural Florida!

Deanna and Rabbit were by far the most friendly and accommodating people. Communication was very prompt and helpful. Very helpful. We felt right at home. The home was comfortable and clean with plenty of room for our family. We had a great time and I highly recommend to anyone. Already looking at dates to return!

I can't say enough positive things about this gorgeous place on Star Lake. It was exactly as described. There were clear directions before and during our stay. The host was very responsive. It is well-supplied and very comfortable. The furniture is gorgeous. We felt right at home. Hearing the sounds of birds and listening to the windchimes out on the screened in area on the dock was so relaxing. We really enjoyed being on this beautiful, quiet lake away from the hustle and bustle of our life. The colors at sunrise and sunset were magical. Despite being in such a serene location, it is only 30 min to Gainesville's restaurants and shopping and it is 30-60 min to many nature destinations. There is a very helpful notebook with the host's suggestions provided. My husband and I recommend this property without hesitation.

What a great place to stay! Right across from a lake, beautiful views in the morning. We had motorcycles with us and having the car port was incredible. About 45 min ride to Daytona with lots of great little stops along the way! Having a washer and dryer there was so convenient!

Charlene was an excellent host with very quick response times! Check in was a breeze. The home itself was very clean, organized and so roomy! We had a group of 7 and could have comfortably fit many more. We all felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was breathtaking and we enjoyed cups of coffee on the huge porch every morning while looking out at the view. The location is quiet and peaceful. Only 20-30 mins from local restaurants and stores. Will certainly stay here again as this place has so much to offer for an affordable price. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway!

Stayed a month at Isabelle's place. Very relaxing and peaceful I am a very sensitive person and this place was very quiet. Isabelle was always responsive with conversations. Would definitely stay again ... maybe longer. :)
