The home is a lovely getaway stay for any group. As a group of lads on a small trip we found loads to do and stay active and entertained. The home comfortably met all our needs and the host was more than happy to meet them aswell. Would come again

We had a fantastic stay, I would definitely return and recommend to others. It was very clean and tidy, had all amenities, beautiful log burner which made it super cosy. They had a log self serve which was very handy. The hot tub was lovely and the views were wonderful. The hosts responded quickly and are very friendly. Very satisfied with the stay

this was a beautiful cottage full of character and a real wow factor. It was easy to find had everything you needed and was a lovely place to stay. we will definatly stay there again. the hosts gave us plenty of instruction about location and accessing check in and this made it simple to find. definatly excellent value for money and a great place to have an evening with friends and family.

Ben and Shae were so helpful in recommendations, instructions and even directions to the location. They even helped with putting up some birthday banners in advance of check in despite having a baby due over our stay dates. 100% would recommend and will be staying again.

Dawn was incredibly communicative and kind from the very start. I booked for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and everything was perfect. The attention to detail at the place was beautiful and it was amazing to hear of how it was Dawn's lockdown project, which she built herself. I had a special request to see if we could have some other family come for drinks one night after the birthday dinner and Dawn was very obliging, even giving us an extra table from her own home. Couldn't recommend Dawn's place enough - it's stunning and the hot tub was superb!

One of my favourite ever stays, Susan is just wonderful and was on hand for everything we could possible need, both in terms of advice and practical items. the cottage is super cosy/warm, extremely comfortable, genuinely just feels like a home, an absolute pleasure to come back to after a day exploring in the fresh air. Would head back any time. Brilliant xx

This is the second time we have stayed at Nuthatch and it was just as lovely as we’d remembered. Meng has put a lot of thought and care into making guests stay comfortable and relaxing. The cottage is fully equipped, clean, warm on arrival so that everything is taken care of. We really appreciated the milk and biscuits so we could have a cuppa when we arrived and also the hot chocolate for the kids. The eggs also came in handy for breakfast. I really can’t fault this place in any way, we’ll be back again. Thank you Meng x

We had a really lovely stay, the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly! They gave super clear instructions for arrival and the accommodation was stunning: the views, inside, the garden. The Prosecco when we arrived was such a nice gesture, we really felt so at home. They checked in with us to make sure everything was okay too. Would highly recommend!

Lovely stay just over the Welsh border at Llandenny. Relatively easy to find and set in beautiful country side. Cottage was perfect for our stay and we highly recommend! Many thanks to James!

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

We had a very friendly welcome and were left to admire the character of the cottage. I loved spending time in the jacuzzi as did my wife, son and sister in law. We were with our 4 month old daughter. First time taking her away and we felt she was old enough to finally go somewhere different. Tracey provided us with a travel cot which was great. Was a great getaway in a quiet area. Loved spending time in the cottage and I actually watched a DVD after years! A great switch off from city life. Thank you again Tracey. And as everyone mentions. The cakes were great!!

Beautiful home, beautiful location. Peaceful and tranquil. Wonderful walks mere steps from your door. Everything we needed for our stay was there. The garden is enclosed so suitable for your four-legged friend. Robert was friendly and communicated clearly. We would highly recommend. Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is cute and cosy with lots of nice touches - we particularly liked the historial pictures of the local area! It was truly dog friendly with even treats and toys provided, which was super sweet. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, and clean throughout. The shared garden out the front was also a peaceful spot to chill with a fantastic view. Kerry was proactive with the info we needed and we had a great trip! Definitely recommend :)

Lovely little cottage where I based myself for a week with my dog. There's a track that leads up into the woods to the left of the cottage and you can walk and walk. House was lovely and clean, everything you need for self catering. Quiet and peaceful and Lorraine was a lovely host.

my girlfriend and I chose "The Covey" to stay on our first ever holiday, and we have had the most fantastic time! The house itself was incredibly clean, tidy, warm and homely and the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous, let alone the quick responses to any questions and absolutely hosts! Overall a fantastic place to stay and a lovely holiday, deffinitely somewhere we would stay again, in a heartbeat :)

We had a lovely stay in Edith’s cottage, perfect for an escape from the city! The cottage is on the cycle path into the Forest of Dean and the family cycle route is brilliant for all ages and levels, we hope to return to try some of the harder routes! The cottage itself is clean and very cosy and equipped with everything we needed, we stayed in winter and we loved warm nights playing Jenga by the log burner. Ann was a great host and shared lots of local knowledge ahead of our stay and in the info pack, I used one of the bikes and it was perfect for the easy paths. We’d love to return and highly recommend it.

Lovely place to stay. Very spacious for the two of us, kitchen well equipped (could have done with a chopping board). Fast WiFi connection. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely, peaceful location. Short walk to the pub with a great Indian restaurant and takeaway. The whole place was immaculately clean. Really comfy bed. As mentioned by others parking is a bit of a squeeze.

Arthur was the perfect host, everything you could ask for when we needed it but discrete and let us enjoy the house as our own and enjoy our break. Lovely old house, bright, spacious but cozy, well appointed and tasteful. Lots of wee things provided that you don’t think to bring but make the stay that much easier and convenient. Perfect for the dog, fantastic walking on the doorstep, with dog friendly pubs and great views. Only 20 minutes from Bristol so a great base. Would recommend it to anyone.

An incredible stay over Christmas with my family. Ann made so much effort with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, wreath and decorations throughout. The home is beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need! Ann & Pete were super friendly and very responsive! The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom clean and spacious. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. We immediately felt at home and wish we could stay longer.

A beautiful little cottage tucked away in the countryside. Perfect for a ‘getting away from it all’, yet not far from Ross on Wye. Would definitely recommend

We had a cosy stay. We loved the light, airy, oak beamed sun room with underfloor heating. Lots of hot water for showers and baths. Enjoyed the Aga, (would like more time to get used to cooking on it..... but a managed a tarte Tintin.) Serena very helpful and friendly, will answer questions. When we arrived the fire was lit and bread, milk, eggs, crisps and biscuits had been kindly left. There were staples in the cupboard which was very handy.

We had a wonderful weekend away here, great location and stunning views. We had beautiful walks and the ye old Ferrie in was an absolute find and just down the road. We had an epic roast dinner there! We would absolutely visit again and stay at snowdrop cottage
