qathet Regional District : locations de vacances

We stayed over valentines long weekend and had a fantastic weekend! We enjoyed the amazing view and watching the seals splash around everyday, the wood burning fire place was a great addition during the cold evenings, and the bed was so comfortable! We found the home to be so cozy, we didn’t want to leave. We look forward to returning again in the future :)

One of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Amazing peaceful location. Large open plan with lots of separate seating areas. Fully equipped kitchen with quality pots and pans. We will most definitely try to return and book again for another week of paradise. Daily we see sea lions and seals, many birds, and one day we saw dolphins.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The place was fantastic—spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. We booked Jai's for a week long family holiday. It was an excellent setting for this! We got to explore the new-to-us Powell River/Qathet region, and had a very comfortable home base from which to do so. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the woodstove in the basement of the house was great to have during the 2 power outages we had during our stay (ah, winter storms). Jai was very respectful of our space and privacy, but also very responsive when we needed anything. Loved the beach access just a short walk away (less than 10 minute walk), and close proximity to lots of lovely hiking trails. We would happily stay at Jai's again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at Manda and Families cabin. We stayed at Zadas cabin. It was rustic which matched our expectation and fit the vibe of Cortes. Even though the host was off island during our stay his level of communication was above our expectation . He checked in several times and made it clear he was available if needed. He gave clear instructions through text. When I did talk to him on the phone he answered immediately was friendly kind and accommodating. I love having the beach nearby. I also liked the sound of the rooster and visits from the families pets. I also liked the little touches like the nice blue bowls to eat out of.

This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

We had an amazing experience during our stay! Wendy, our host, was incredibly responsive and maintained great communication throughout our visit. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, providing a perfect backdrop for our time with family and friends. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, which made everything even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to return for another vacation! Highly recommend!
