Beautiful view over the Nile, spacious apartment and very helpful host who was kind enough to offer us quite an early check in and drove us to the station after our checkout. The area is authentic Luxor so don’t expect the shiny streets of resorts, but rather enjoy the beauty of being surrounded by locals which we actually preferred :)

A beautiful place to stay - with the view of the Luxor Temple on the West bank of the Nile river. Saleh was responsive at all times and friendly.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed version of Luxor then the West Bank and Yasser’s hotel is the place for you. Yasser and his host skills are what made our 10 day stay in Luxor so memorable. He’s happy to arrange all your tours and transportation and he’ll give you budget options too. He’ll make great suggestions of when to see something or maybe to do an activity you weren’t thinking about. We were lucky enough to have ample time to see the main sites of Luxor but also have time for local egyptian life and Yasser invited us to his family home for a meal, to a local festival and many more authentic experiences. We are so grateful for his kindness. The flat is big and spacious. The kitchen needs a few more pieces of equipment to be able to cook a meal but I was able to make small lunches and snacks for the kids in it at least. The rooftop pool, loungers, billiards table and ping pong table were great to stay busy after a long day touring. Food was amazing as well.

Perfect! Maria is a really wonderful host - she was friendly, kind, interesting to chat to and super helpful, coming to meet us from the ferry and making sure we were settled in. She immediately made us feel comfortable - couldn't ask for more. The apartment itself is great. It is a very nicely decorated space with character. It's lovely - bright, airy, comfortable, and it has everything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. Everything is clean - comfy bed, nice bedding, towels etc all nice. And the terrace.....oohhhhh so great. It's a huge space with lots of comfortable places to lounge either in the shade or in the sun. We loved relaxing there both day and night. Overall, I don't think you will find a nicer host or a better place to stay in Luxor. Thank you!

I traveled alone for this trip and this was my first time anywhere in this part of the world. This is an absolute dream spot with an amazing view. The newly constructed boardwalk just across the street makes early morning and evening/night strolls so wonderful. Taxi’s and ferries are literally just outside the front gate. Plenty of local options for food and trinkets. The neighborhoods back behind the place are full of families and friendly children. I often would stroll and “get lost” in the beauty and felt very safe. Many people speak English which I found to be a comfort. Mustafa was very proactive and attentive with making sure I felt at home and reassured the itinerary we had developed while my time was spent there. 100000% will return to stay here again with others I bring to visit.

The apartment was in perfect condition, we were in 4 people. Abdou and his brother Ahmed were always ready to help us, took us iron from ironing clothes and gave us local recommendations. In the surroundings in restaurants and supermarkets, very good.

Great place to stay, and the penthouse unit is perfect for privacy and the views. It allows a panoramic view of the city below. The neighbors are mature, quiet, and respectful. I was able to come and go with us day or night. Ida and Hassan's hospitality was top-notch. after the first day there, it felt like family. If you're looking for a long-term comfortable place to stay. Then I think Ida and Hassan would be the hosts to call.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is the place to stay in Luxor if you’re seeking a spiritual, authentic and connected experience. Tjoni connects you with artists, healers, and a grounded conscious community supporting local crafts, education, and the environment. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe—thanks to her guidance, care, and deep knowledge of Egypt. The home is stunning, built on the site of a former queen’s lake, with energetically powerful water to drink and bathe in. It’s a space of creative clarity, inspiration, and transformation. Community events (dance, sound healing, meditation) were deeply moving. The design is magical, the energy palpable, and the location perfect—very close to the main West Bank temples. Tjoni is a true visionary with a huge heart. I’m so grateful to her and wouldn’t hesitate to join her future retreats or recommend this sacred space.

While in Luxor you can expect A very warm and hospitable environment Qenut and Azab are very down to earth and accommodating to one's needs! A very comfortable place while in Luxor! They also do tours of the Nile, Pyramids, group Nile cruise excursions (10 or more) and desert excursions. Very modern living conditions on the West Bank in Luxor.

Good location at the west bank and the premises felt safe. The lovely personnel Islam, Abdul and Ahmed made us feel welcome and took good care of us. Lovely view from the balconies and the roof terrasse. Mohammed also provided us with the transportation and guides for the Valley of Kings and Luxor and Karnak temples and we liked the guide Hamid very much. After the sightseeing's it was very convenient to get good Egyptian dinners and lunch prepared by chef Abdul when everyone was tired and did not want to go out to eat. One evening we went for dinner to the east bank. Islam fixed the boat over the Nile and the restaurant reservation for us. We warmly recommend this place.

When renting a villa I usually like to rent the entire villa and have use of the second / third areas on the property. I was told I would have the second house but someone was in it. Some of our guest had to sleep on the sofa.

Gracias Mohamed Sayed, la estancia fue espectacular disfrutamos mucho la piscina y lo bien ubicado el lugar a pocos metros del Majestuoso Río Nilo. Se accede fácilmente al valle de los reyes por lo q haber escogido este Airbnb fue muy acertado. también muy contento con las instalaciones habitaciones muy grandes y confortables con aire acondicionado, cocina muy bien equipada con todas las amenidades. Gracias por tu atención y recomendaciones fuiste un excelente anfitrión.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut und der Ort ist ruhig und angenehm. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und hat zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder. Über 3 Balkons konnte man den Nil schauen. Die Wohnung war einfach toll mit alles was sie anzubieten hat. Ezzat und sein Onkel waren sehr freundlich und hat uns alle Fragen geantwortet. Gerne nochmal!

El alojamiento era perfecto, tenía dos habitaciones, la casa es súper cómoda y grande, con todo lo necesario. Si bien el barrio no es demasiado lindo, la ubicación esta muy bien porque está muy cerca del templo de Lúxor y del puerto para cruzar con el ferry hacia el otro lado. El anfitrión fue súper atento y nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitábamos. Volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí sin dudas. Gracias!!

Ahmed Ali was zo aardig ons eerder op onze kamer te laten dan officieel de bedoeling was, dat was erg fijn. Ahmed Ali is ontzettend aardig, oprecht en communicatief. Waren we hem eerder tegengekomen dan was ons wellicht eerder gedoe op onze reis bespaard gebleven. De plek is fijn en heeft een relaxte vibe. Je zit vlakbij de bootjes om naar de overkant te varen en er zijn enkele restaurantjes en een winkeltje binnen 100 meter. We hadden met plezier wat langer willen blijven…

Ahmed's apartment is very nice place to stay. Good location, quiet area. I was unfortunate to stay during the massive water outage in the city and it was quite a challenge to survive without a water supply in the apartment, however I can't blame the apartment, since the outage was all over the city.

Ammar is responsive for communication. The place is right in from Nile River with peaceful view. This place is located at Westbank, in a local village.

El lugar tenía una vista increíble, y es muy amplio y muy cómodo pero lo mejor fue la atención de los hosts, el personal es muy atento y muy amable, te ayudan en todas las necesidades que tengas y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte, son muy amigables, nosotros estuvimos muy muy contentos y muy agradecidos, los egipcios son gente muy amable y buenos amigos
