Ginger Homestay is a comfortable home away from home. We occupied the entire house and everyone was comfortable. Le is very knowledgable of the local area and easy to talk to for advice or arranging tours. Breakfast was great each morning and we needed more time to do everything in HaLong.

Plentiful amenities, good for family or your squad buddies to hang out and rest near the beach. The host is helpful with housemaid service for barbecue and cleaning

Wow! An incredible experience seeing the true Vietnam. Yen Duc was the perfect end to our holiday. Take advantage of seeing the water puppet show, catching fish with baskets (a must do!), making peanut candy, using the complimentary bicycles and visiting the market to purchase last minute souvenirs. Na was a great host and was always on hand to guide us and tell us about village life. Our stay was rounded off perfectly making doughnuts and drinking rice wine with Na and one of the neighbours. We would recommend that you take advantage of the meals as there are few options to eat out or cook yourself, unless you have your own transport. You won’t regret it as the meals are delicious. There was construction work going on during our stay but this did not impact on the overall experience. Please bear in mind though that you will need to pay for drinking water. We loved every moment here, enjoying the tranquility after the fast pace of life in Hoi An and Hanoi.

Viet was very nice and chill host! The accomodation was clean and airy and we slept well~ The swimming is clean and beautiful! definitely recommend! the island is small and very good for you to turn off and relax~ Viet also helped us with trip to Halong Bay, which can be arranged frm port 10 minutes from the airbnb. You should go! thank you for everything

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit traumhaftem Ausblick, Thanh Thuy war immer gut zu erreichen und war gute Unterstützung, obwohl sie erst seit kurzem bei Airbnb ist.

Must try one time when you come to Ha Long

Das Woodstocks aka Cat Ba SOL Beach ist obwohl es einen gewissen Aussteigercharme versprüht, gepflegt, ordentlich und hat ein nettes Ambiente. Die Lage ist, obwohl an der Straße gelegen, sehr gut. Denn um den Strand zu erreichen, muss man nämlich nur direkt rüber gehen und hat quasi diesen für sich alleine. Nur die ansässigen Fischer arbeiten dort. Wirklich gefallen hat mir die Staff, die überaus herzlich ist und man quasi auch seine Tage mit ihnen verbringen kann.

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to many stores and restaurants. I would stay here again if I come back to Cat Ba.

Lily’s house is elegant and beautiful. The interior is spotless and every corner is clean and tidy. Lily’s mum welcomed us, speaking a perfect English and being very friendly and attentive to our needs. She made us breakfast in the morning and it was delicious. Also, we ate outside in the backyard and which was so nice and relaxing. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. The terrace has an amazing view over the bay and the beach is 20 minutes away by walk. I absolutely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
